If you have an American Signature Furniture store nearby, you may want to make plans to head on over there! Starting today, from 2 PM until 9 PM, they’re having a Leap Year Sale and offering up FREE $29 gift cards for their Facebook fans! You’ll just need to “check in” to an American Signature Furniture store using FourSquare, Google Places or Facebook to receive your $29 Gift Card.
*Only 1 per household. (That’s a nice way of saying not to take advantage of this offer. We want to do this often, and if people abuse it, we won’t be able to!) Must be 18 years or older. Valid only on February 29th between 2pm – 9pm. Must be a loyal American Signature Furniture facebook fan. Must love to furnish your home as much as we love to help you furnish your home. Must love great furniture at amazing prices. Not available to employees or employee families. Expires 9 PM on February 29, 2012.
Plus, if you’re birthday is today, you’ll get a FREE $400 gift card! Wow! Keep in mind that you must have a license, birth certificate or other accepted form of ID to prove your birthday is February 29.

The only problem with the whole “if today is your birthday” thing is that most hospitals make parents who have their babies on leap day choose either Feb. 28th or March 1st for the official birth certificate.

My sister’s official b-day is leap day…it is on her driver’s license. It is possible.
