Gold Toes are the best- they’re very pricey (in the range of $10 for 3 tall, nice, thick but not dressy ones), but I’ve been accumulating them over about 5 years and have only gotten 1 hole in the thin socks. I think I’ve lost them long before getting holes!
I bought the expensive oh so soft, Gold Toes for my husband and they had holes in them within a couple of months. I was so disappointed. I never thought that would happen when they seemed to be really good quality socks. He can just have the cheap ones from now on, he doesn’t care anyway.
You may want to double-check the prices with Walmart (if there’s one near you & you shop there). I just got a pack of 9 undershirts from Walmart for $17.99, or about $1.99/shirt. According to the online Walgreens prices, you can get 6 undershirts (buy 1 3-pack get 1 free) for $13.49, or about $2.25 each. Just FYI, Walmart *may* be cheaper, even not on sale 🙂

HEy you all and Collin just wanted to give you heads up Walgreens is having a clearance on their Clairol, Loreal, and Nice & Easy products for 3.00, 2.00 $2.25 there are even some for as low as 1.75.. I used my 3.00 coupon for Clairol and it was free, I had overages on the rest.
Just as a heads up, when I went to my Walgreens the other day they had a bunch of hair colors on clearance for about $4.99 each, so they make for a great deal with the coupons!

Has anyone gotten their rebate from the october 2011 promo? I never got mine. =0( Not sure if I am going to do rebates anymore. I never received my Kohl’s black friday ones either. $50 in due rebates. Called customer service and they said they can’t help. Of course I cannot locate my copy of the forms and UPC’s so I’m screwed, >=(
I didn’t get my rebate back either. I spoke with three people and sent 2 emails and nothing. I kept my copies, but we did a huge clean, and have no idea where it is now. hehe. I quit doing rebates as well.

I went into my Walgreen in West Des Moines, IA and they had Burts Bees cough drops for $2.39. When I checked out a $2 RR printed out making the cough drops only .39 cents! Just wanted to pass on the savings to others! 🙂

On regards to the spend $40 on Olay regenerist or covergirl cosmetics I thought that you could only use 4 like coupons per transaction, meaning that you can’t buy 10 of the same at one time.
I don’t know how your store works but the one in ormond bcd fla really don’t care how many of the same coupons you use. Plus when they have the stuff you can get free with the rr certain managers don’t care how many you get as long as you don’t clear the shelves

Is the $.75/1 Ban coupon regional? I didn’t find it in our 3/4 SS here in Missouri, even though it showed up in Missouri’s coupon database that we got it.

Im in Southeast Missouri and I get the St Louis Dispatch and it was in there.
Just did the centrum prenatal deal….. Rang up $19.99 + $19.99, then -$10 from wbook, then -$3 & -$3 manufactor coupon= $23.98……. Then it only took off $7.50 for the buy one get one half off. So total was $16.48 for both. I think it only took $7.50 off instead of the full $10 is because of the walgreens book coupon because if u do $19.99- $5 wbook= $14.99 then 50% of that is $7.50.

*****it doesnt matter what order the coupons are scanned or when the total button is hit. once the cashier hits total for the final time, right before you pay, the computer adjusts everything accordingly, so the order doesnt matter.
a walgreens monthly coupon doesnt work the same as a manufacturer coupon. it moreso “adjusts” the price of the product. so instead of the vitamins being 19.99 BOGO 50%, after the walgreens coupon is scanned the computer basically adjusts the price to 14.99(because of the -$5 walgreens coupon) BOGO 50%. so then its 22.49(14.99×1.5) for 2, minus your 2 $3 manufacturer coupons is 16.49 for both. a walgreens monthly coupon doesnt take the total coupon amount off at the end like a manufacturer coupon would. i’ve been a walgreens cashier and an avid couponer for about 5 years so i know how the (sometimes stupid) walgreens registers work 🙂

If you have a Meijer nearby they offer free prenatal vitamins. Its only certain ones and you need a prescription, but no co-pay. Completely free:) They have similiar programs for diabetes meds and antibiotics. HTH

Today’s paper has a coupon buy the biore strips & get facial wash free. There were also coupons on the facial wash for $1.00 off any biorie product. That combined with the buy 1 get 1 50% is a great deal! The strips and facial wash were $7.99. Minus the sale and coupons they came out to $1.50 each.

OMGoodness – I finally impressed my husband with my couponing! All thanks to Hip2Save and Collin! Got the Kettle chips (luckily I had 5 papers that week). Also found Lysol No Touch systems on clearance for $6.17 – used the $3 coupon so I got 3 for $9.51. He thinks it is the best thing ever. Also have to give a mention to my awesome cosmetics cashier – she always makes sure I am not missing any great deals – like last weeks FREE Burt’s Bees cough drops – she even had a sample bag so I could try it. Today she pointed out the Walgreens sanitizers on clearance for $.50 – a great filler to use previous Register Rewards.

My husband is a huge fan of this website.. We were able to save 140.00 a month in groceries. Plus I now never ever ask him for additional money for makeup, nails, etc… IT is all part of the grocery money.

Heads up….the colgate that’s on sale at Wags this week (on sale for $3 and get 3RR) is ROLLING!!! i did the deal 5 times last night and kept using the $3RR from the previos colgate transaction and the register would spit out another one. The cashier was in shock…she thought I put roots on the register or something. I don’t know if this has been posted already, but hurry before “the powers that be” catch on and put a stop to it. Most registers don’t have a problem with using 2 Qs like that, but it’s kinda up to your judgement whether or not that is proper coupon etiquette since the manufacturer sometimes doesn’t refund the store for the extra coupon.

I used mine at kroger last week for their “Kelloggs half off sale”
I scored 38 boxes of cereal for 86 cents each, and they were the 23oz size priced at only $1.86. I used 6 $5/5 and 2 $4/4 plus and I used six free milk coupons, plus I used the milk peelies that were on the cereal boxes for save $1 on milk when you buy 2 boxes of cereal.
I paid $26.86 + Tax (8.75% tax in TN on food 🙁 ) so baicly 66 cents an item.
My husband eats a giant mixing bowl of cereal a day, just hope he does start eating out of my new 6 QT Kitchenaide mixer bowl, lol.
