I got one of these a couple years ago. I thought it was too good to be true, but it actually came and I was very happy with everything I got.

I don’t see the link or form to get your free kit. Where is it?

      I can’t find a link either ???????????

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Very weird! The link was working prior to the blog post so I am not sure if Avista decided to remove the link or has temporarily stopped the program. In any case, I hope that they make it available again soon. Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks for checking Collin, really appreciate everything even if I miss out, I’m still very grateful. Happy day to you and your family.

in TN you can get a kit from TVA for $.01 I believe or it’s free if you sign up for an in-home energy efficiency evaluation…the evaluation is $50 but if you spend $150 towards improving your home efficiency you get your $50 back- the person they send out will do the install on the faucets for you too… oh and they’ll also give you a refund of up to 50% towards your upgrades up to $500 (after you do the upgrades they’ll come out and inspect). I think davidson county residents can also get money back if they improve their home’s effeciency by 15%… here’s a link for more info… https://www.tva.gov/ee/in_home_eval.htm

I received one a couple months ago from Pacific Power. They advertised it in their newsletter and was available to order from their website. I haven’t checked to see if it’s still there.

I remember seeing this post a couple weeks ago and I’m coming back to let you know that I just received a notice from my company Columbia Gas of Virginia (I’m in Northern VA) and for taking an online energy efficiency survery where you input info about your home and energy habits they give you advice on how to save money, you can get a free kit for taking the survey and getting their tips on how to save on utility bills. The kit I received last year when I completed this survery included 2 water efficient shower heads with water aerators, a kitchen faucet aerator, 2 tubes of water heater piping insulation and something else but I completely forgot what it was now.

If anyone else has Columbia Gas here is the link to the survery:
