Yeah! Great timing. I just left the Vitacost website before coming here. Now I’ll go back and place that order.

  2. Brittany

how good is coconut oil for you compared to olive oil?

    • Sharon

It’s supposed to help a myriad of problems. Google it. I’ll bet you can find lots of uses and cures.

    • Charlotte

I haven’t tried Vitacosts coconut oil, but I got another extra virgin one and it is awesome. It makes food taste good, either fried in it or just a little dollop in the food. It also helps my eczema as well as our daughters diaper rash.

  3. Helen

I never receive any credits even though people have actually received and used their products it still says verifying I tried contacting them and never received a response I think it’s a scam

    • Tiffany B.

I have had the same issue…never got the $10 and they told me it takes about 24hrs and it will just be added to your account. Never was though so I just never ordered anything.

    • Chrystal @Sea of Savings

I also have had this happen Helen and I contacted them about it. They say if the customer checks out as a guest they cannot verify the order. 🙁 It’s really not a good system as it should tie by the email address either way.

    • alycia

I have had one referral under me and received my $10 credit very quickly…sorry you’re having trouble!

    • Carrie

I used your link Gwen 🙂

  4. Kelly

I am not happy with this company. I placed an order in February and it isn’t even showing up in the system. I am still waiting on a response from customer service. I think my first order will be my last order with them.

    • Kelly

Did anyone get their toothpaste from the deal that Collin posted on Feb 20th? I am assuming that they just cancelled my order without informing me ( which is obnoxious but at least there are no charges on my card)

      • Mae :o)

I did receive mine — I would consider phoning them about it.

        • MamaJ

I love their prices, but I’m not completely happy with them (customer service, consistency, etc) either. They don’t seem to have their have their s together. I still do order from them every once in a while.

          • Kelly

Apparently they lost my order from February. Customer service let me know that I will be receiving it in a couple of days. I am not sure how it was lost but I am happy they are taking care of it. With the promo it was a zero out of pocket for me so I am hoping not to see any charges on my card.

    • Jamie

That’s interesting. I order from them all the time, and have for years. I’ve never had a single problem with any order.

  5. Lynn D

Thanks! Can’t wait to give it a try! Anything to make our everyday life a bit healthier!

  6. Jesse

I’m excited about a recipe website! That’d be wonderful!

At your suggestion, we tried coconut oil in our Lindy stovetop popcorn popper, with some kosher sea salt and YUM! I’ll never go back to microwave again! At first my husband wasn’t sure about it, since we use olive oil for everything, but now that he’s tried it, he’s a fan of coconut oil too. We still use olive oil for cooking our eggs, etc. but we like to switch it up so at least a portion of the time we use coconut oil here and there.

    • Melissa

That’s our favorite way to have popcorn too!

      • Christine

I never thought about using it on popcorn! That sounds delicious. 😀

        • Jesse

I am a huge kettle corn fan, and while this isn’t the same, it is really good- less calories than the store bought bags of kettle corn, and I love it. I’m amazed at the taste difference (no matter what oil you use) when you pop the corn yourself on the stove vs. microwave. Yum! 🙂

    • mel

      i used your link.

Thank you for sharing these awesome deals with us. I love Vitacost but somehow always forget to check their site. So these reminders are always appreciated. I always use someone’s referral link when I order. Here is mine if anyone would care to use it. Could sure use the help! Thank you so much in advance.

You know every time I have tried to sign up for this using your referral link, it always says oops there was a technical error. I get their emails, but I have not yet gotten a $10.00 credit. I’ve now used every email address that I have. I give up.

    • Sue

I had that same problem today.

    • Dianna

      Used this link Amy!

  9. Brandy

Shopathome has 8% cash back for Vitacost right now also!

    • Saundi

      Ebates has 8% too!

  10. Rachel

Amazing deal…so excited. I was just about to spend the 25 at Amazon! Thanks Colin! 🙂

  11. Kathy

Hi Collin! Have you tried this particular brand before? I was just wondering if it tastes the same as Nutiva (which I love!). I’ve heard some people on Amazon complain about the flavor of the brand sold at Sam’s Club so I’m assuming they all may taste different. Thanks!

    • Missy

I use the vitacost brand coconut oil and really like it. It is one that actually smells like coconut though. I know some people prefer the ones that don’t. HTH!

      • Kathy

        Thanks!

  12. brittni

I’ve ordered about 9 times from the website & never had problems. & all of my referalls went through just fine. It’s not a scam & niether is the site.

    • carrie

      same here! =)

  13. Rudy

I just want to say to all of you asking other people to use your link…it’s very rude of you. Collin works very hard on this site and when she posts deals like this, the referrals should be hers and hers alone. If you want someone to use your link then post it on your blog or YOUR social media! Don’t take away from her. Remember all that she does for you!

    • mel

I believe she’s said before that she doesn’t mind .. if she did, then those posting their links would not be approved.

  14. Annie

I was just looking at an old post on this site on Coconut Oil this morning and shopping around for one. I am so excited to try this. Thanks everyone for all of the useful comments and ideas on how to use this!! My Dr recently told me I need to be healthier, and this store seems like a great resource for me,

If someone is looking to sign up and wants to use my like I would really appreciate it!

Any help would be much appreciated!

  16. Joy

I sent out your deal alert to my FB friends that I have met here.. They can either order via mine or yours..either way..can’t wait to try it..

  17. Sara

I really appreciate this Collin! I have been wanting to get some coconut oil for my thyroid so this is perfect.

  18. Keli

Does the free shipping show up before you put in your credit card info? Mine still says 4.99 shipping even though my order total is over $40.

  19. Michelle

Thanks. My daughter has wanted me to get coconut oil. I have used your link. 🙂

  20. annettea

Well I tried 3 times and says there is technical problems and I cant place any orders

  21. melonie

Has anyone used Vitacost coconut oil, does it taste good? Thanks

  22. Mich

I have read reviews about vitacost, and found out that the company or thrid party will charge you multiple times after you use $10 credit from referral. Is this true?

    • T

No but they may screw up your order and then magically charge you when your package is at your door. I used them 2 weeks ago, they screwed up my order and when it arrived the mailman said I owed $10 in shipping! I said I paid for shipping already!? They are a disorganized hot mess, but there products are pretty competitive so it kinda sucks. But you may have a better experience. That was my very first time ordering….bad first impression for me =(

  23. cheapsinglechick

I’m so getting some coconut oil. Love that stuff! Drizzled on popcorn with a little bit of Garlic Pepper Salt is the BEST!

Here’s my referral link if anyone still needs one! 🙂

Also, once you get your $10 credit, make sure to shop through one of the cash back sites (MrRebates, Ebates, or ShopatHome) to get cash back!
