IKEA: Swedish Easter Smorgasbord on March 23rd (Purchase Your Tickets Now–Will Sell Out)
If you have an IKEA nearby (lucky!), this Friday, 3/23, head on over to your local IKEA for an all-you-can-eat Swedish Easter Smorgasbord! You do have to buy tickets in advance inside the IKEA restaurant, and seating is limited. Tickets are $9.99 for adults and $2.49 for children 12 and under. There are two seating times: 5:00PM-6:30PM, and 6:30PM-8:00PM. Keep in mind that you’ll want to snag your tickets sooner than later as they do sell out.
You can preview the menu here, which includes hardboiled eggs with mayo and shrimp, marinated salmon with mustard sauce, assorted cheeses, Swedish meatballs, and assorted Swedish desserts and cookies. Yummy!
Stop by your local IKEA store for more details.

We went last year, and it left much to be desired. After being evacuated because of a kitchen fire, we finally made it back in to discover all the food was cold and nearly gone, and the drink machines were not working. We were really disappointed as we drove two hours to get there. I would not recommend it. The staff was really unapologetic and wouldn’t refund us.
Thanks for sharing the deal! I live by several IKEAs, but I don’t think my family would like most of those entrees. I have been to their restaurants and have had the meatballs and potatoes. It’s basic food, but we enjoyed it. I thought that their ligonberry jam was really good.
My hub and I bought the tix already. We like to try new foods and lately we’ve had appreciation for Swedish/Norwegian food. Other than their meatballs and mashed potatoes, the rest of the foods are based on season and what is available to them. They seem to eat real healthy organic farm to table meals which is a big plus for us. The Ikea near us always sells out way before the event date so we’re hoping it will be a good experience.
