Already went back up. Even so, it’s worth it at $18, just in eliminating the number of dishes you have to wash! I barely use measuring spoons and measuring cups anymore, and with most recipes you can measure everything into one bowl.

Precision Tare Button calculates the net weight of your ingredients (automatically subtracts the weight of any bowl or container).

You can put a bowl on top, which the scale weighs. Then you can push the “tare” button which zeroes the scale out so you don’t have to subtract the bowl’s weight from the food. Does that make sense?

Tare resets the scale to 0 when you have something on it. When I’m making a dish and I want to weight out each ingredient that I’m adding, I hit the tare button before each ingredient.

Just an FYI…if you don’t have Amazon Prime and don’t want to pay shipping just order 2! It will give you the free super saver shipping most likely because the price before the promo code is over $25. So if you order just one and pay shipping it will come to $18 and some change but if you order 2 it will only be about $4 more! Great to have one on hand for a wedding gift, etc.
