Both my mom and I were denied rebates on the last gift sets…..they couldnt tell me why and then tried saying they were purchased 2 days after the promotion was over…not true!!

I purchased two of these gift sets and didn’t have a problem getting the rebates. I purchased one in Dec. and the other in Jan. I submitted the rebates for both (at different times) and received two checks for $9.00.
I just wanted to throw my two cents in for those thinking of doing this – I did both the Venus one above and a different Olay rebate in a pink box, and I got them both back no problems. However, it was only one per household of each kind, and I think that was some of the problems for some. Not sure.
When I called about the rebates being denied they said if you have EVER submitted for a rebate for ANY Conde Nast publication in the past you are not eligible to receive another rebate. I told them their legalese in the fine print says nothing of the sort and they still denied it. I also sent them emails telling them about their lack of clarity and they never responded. They would, however, extend my current subscription to Allure another year instead of the rebate so that’s an option. Not worth the headache – and they wonder why magazines are dying!!
I just got these a few days ago. The magazine subscription offer expired as of 3/1/12. Still a good deal though.

I think you can. But be sure to keep the basket packaging as you want to put that UPC in the rebate. You also might want to write the individual codes on a sticky with an explanation. But people used these gifts in the buy 30$ get 10$ that was going on last fall.
The Venus Spa Breeze set is out of stock online. But I did make out with 4 of the Essence sets & paid $25.55 shipped. Not too shabby.

I submitted for a rebate last year and it never showed. I didn’t remember to call so maybe that would of made a difference but that was a bummer. However, I saw the above deal last week and got it a few days ago. I didn’t have any problems signing up for the free Allure magazine. Seems like a good deal. Wonder if Allure has coupons in it???

Me, too. I called after waiting a very long time. I had kept copies of my receipts. Customer service at Conde Nast told me that after 60 days, it was too late to do anything. I’m not sure what to do with these baskets, if I should try to return to Walmart, use them or donate. First time I had a problem with any Olay rebate.
I sent mine in correctly and it got denied too!
I also saved all the receipts with no luck after several phone calls!
I got one for myself and one for my mother at Christmas time. I had no problems at all, and the rebates came quickly.
I got a denial letter for the rebate (I bought 2 sets) and when I called them to ask why I was denied and that I had done all the info correctly she said she didn’t know why I was denied and then put the manager on and in a week or so I got a rebate check for both sets. I think if you call them and question it, they might change their mind.
I have never gotten a rebate back from any of my purchases with P &G products. Not doing those anymore. Their customer service blows also

i bought two of these gift sets at Wal-Mart the day after Christmas i paid $5 for one and $7.50 for the other and i got two $9 checks in the mail a few months later!!

I ordered only ONE basket back when this was posted a few months ago. I never got my rebate or a denial letter. Nothing. And I’ve never done a rebate like this one before so I’m confused. Is it too late to call and check on it? Does anyone have the number? Thanks!
I ordered two and got them in the mail today. In my box were two full size bottles of a new face cleanser and cream that walmart now carries. Great deal!!!
