LivingSocial: $20 Worth of Toys from YoYo.com Only $10 + Additional $5 Off (for New Customers)

UPDATE – It appears that you cannot use the $5 off code with the voucher 🙁 however you can stack the voucher with other codes for other deals on the site.  Plus, it appears that when you spend $25 you automatically get FREE shipping with the code YOYOAPRILSHIP (automatically added at checkout)?!  Sorry for the confusion! 🙁

For the next few days, Living Social is offering up a $20 voucher to YoYo.com for only $10!   This is a great way to snag a few birthday presents or toys to keep the kiddos entertained with Summer just around the corner.  Keep in mind that you’ll have to pay $4.99 for shipping or it’s free with $49 orders, but this still seems like a great deal to snatch up!  Or consider purchasing an additional item from Soap.com (their sister site) to score free shipping on $39 orders.

Even sweeter, through 4/30, if you are a new customer, you can get $5 FREE when you enter the code YOYOFIVENEW!  If you’re making your first purchase, that means you’re basically scoring FREE shipping after the $5 off AND then snagging $20 worth of toys for only $10 (after the LivingSocial voucher)!

I was browsing around on YoYo.com and spotted quite a few great deals on Melissa & Doug, LEGO, Fisher-Price, and many other toys.  With that being said, be sure to hurry on over to Living Social and snag your $20 voucher for only $10!

On a side note, I contacted a rep from YoYo and she stated that the voucher and other promo codes can be stacked!  So this could really make for some sweet deals!  Keep in mind that your voucher will not be ready for 24-48 hours after purchasing.

UPDATE – I’m sorry for the confusion as it appears you cannot stack these together.  Since the voucher wasn’t live until today, I was not able to verify this.

Fine Print:
Limit one per transaction • Overnight delivery not guaranteed • Free shipping overnight if more than $49 spent, or $4.99 shipping on orders less than $49 • Entire value must be used in a single visit • If purchaser fails to redeem voucher by June 24, 2012, purchaser agrees that purchaser will have purchased $10 in Paid Deal Bucks to be used on livingsocial.com only, and the voucher shall cease to be valid for a purchase transaction on yoyo.com. • Paid Deal Bucks expire five years after the date of purchase or issuance, except where prohibited by law.

(Thanks, Amy!)

The free shipping and the new customer discounts don’t work together. You only get to use one of them. 🙁

I have my livingsocial code, and it won’t let me combine with any other discount codes except “MDART”. I called the customer service rep and he told me that you can’t stack both the living social code and any new customer codes (YOYOSHIPNEW,YOYOFIVENEW) because they are both considered new customer codes.

I tried several other codes including yoyo20, momsaver, yspring, and none can be combined. 🙁

I had the same experience as Erin. I e-mailed Collin because she said in the original post that she had spoken with a customer service rep from Yoyo.com who said that you could stack the codes, so hopefully she’ll be able to tell us how to do it!

I had the same experience as Erin (can’t use YOYOFIVENEW or any other codes along w/ Living Social voucher code).

I called and the woman I spoke with let me combine one code (YOYOSHIPNEW) with my Living Social voucher.

Hello everyone! I was able to place an order for $26.40 worth of Melissa and Doug Art and Craft items (search mdart) and use the mdart code, my voucher, and the yoyoaprilship was added when my cart reached $25. So I got free shipping, $5 off (mdart), and used my code. I ended up with $26.40 worth of items (paid another $1.40 at checkout) shipped for a total of $11.40 out of pocket, including $10 I paid for the voucher. Thank you for posting this deal, and thanks everryone for posting your experiences. They helped me find the best deal for me. I hope mine can help someone else 🙂

The living social voucher is not allowing any other promo codes to be used. I called in to customer service and was told the voucher was going in the system like a new customer promo code, which is why nothing else is being allowed. They wouldn’t override it, but did issue me a $5 credit when I complained about the misinformation Collin had been given.

Yoyo.com won’t do anything for me. Unfortunately, they aren’t standing behind the info given out over the phone yesterday.

For anyone else having difficulty- Collin e-mailed me back to say that the code YOYOAPRILSHIP is good on orders of $25 or more. Thanks, Collin!
