Does any one know what I can do if I lost my reciept with ECBs? THANKS IN ADVANCE!

    • Sarah

      print them online

      • mel

the only ECBs that you can print are ones earned, like quarterly or beauty bonus bucks. Ones earned from weekly deals, you can *try* to call CS to see if they can resend them for you.. but you might just be out of luck.

  10. mel

eeks.. not a lot of red this week!

Is there not a free item when you buy $30 worth this week?

  11. kelsey

hello ladies…i have a question…tomorrows sale at cvs has spend $30 and get a free pack of tp…would i have to spend $30 before or after tax is included?? example: i was looking to buy 3 packs of the huggies diapers @ 9.49 x 3= 29.47 before tax but 30.18 after tax.

    • Sarah

It is usually before tax and before coupons.

      • Maria

It will print because it is 98% of the requirement threshold.

    • Erin D.

I agree w/ Sarah. Also have a filler item ready to buy to bump you over the $30. find something cheap like baby wipes or candy. I love CVS, good luck. Go early so your diaper size doesn’t sell out quickly.

    • Amanda S.

You better check your math. 3 x $9.47 = $28.49. You better grab a filler.

  12. Mary

  15. NCcouponista

I’m planning on doing the following tomorrow:

    2 Huggies diapers @ $9.49×2= $18.98
    2 Scott Mega Rolls @ $5.49×2= $10.98
Total= $29.98- will this be enough to trigger the free Cottonelle or will I have to buy something else to reach the $30 mark? TIA

I’m going to use the following coupons
    $5/$25 CVS coupon
2 $3/1 Huggies coupons from RIB
    1 $1/1 Scott coupon
    1.50 ecb
    oop=$16.48 + tax

    • Lyndi Hedgecock

you should be totally good to go! although you were off 2 pennies 😉 it would be $29.96 instead, but regardless it just has to be like 97% of the $30 to qualify 🙂

      • NCcouponista

oops! I’m horrible at math so I’m not shocked I made a mistake! lol. Thank you!

        • Mj

Where is everyone getting these $5/25 coupons? Ive been reading about them but I have yet to see one.
P.S. This is a good deal, I need both diapers and paper towels. 🙂

    • Tiffany Gibson

Did Collin post about the Huggies? I don’t see it anywhere 🙁 is it a good sale price or no? I don’t really need diapers right now my stockpile is pretty full of them but if they are cheap i can always put them up!

    • amanda

does anyone no if the pull ups are on sale also?????

  16. mary

if i do the Biore deal using the bogo mq can i use a cvs Q that i got on my receipt for $2 off any biore cleanser?
    thanks for the help

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Yes, you sure can! 🙂

      • amhale11

I have the CVS $2 coupon also, but can I include a $1 off any Biore product manufacturer’s coupon (from a product package) too? So, it would be the BOGO coupon for the cleanser and the $1 off for the pore strips and the CVS $2 off. Can I do that? I think it would make it a moneymaker!

        • Vanessa V

amhale11 – Which product package was it from? Maybe I have the same 🙂

          • Cinthia

I found peelies on some of them!

        • jess

I did had the same cpns and used the peelie bcz I couldn’t remember if they’d take one or not with a bogo cpn, figured I’d just take it back if it didn’t work, but it did!

      • Hannah

I got a $2 off Biore beauty club coupon in my e-mail that would be paired nicely with the Biore ecb deal listed above. This would mean you would pay $5.50 oop and get 5 ebb back.

    • Inga Foksha

Whre did you guys get the buy one get one coupon??

  17. Sarah

Thank you Collin..have a wonderful Easter!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You too Sarah! 😀

  18. Julie

Thank you! Happy Easter Collin & family and also to my fellow Hipsters 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Happy Easter to you too! 🙂

  19. CC

Thank you SO much for EVERYTHING, Mrs. Hip!! You’re a rockstar!!

  20. Shawn

Does anyone know if a temporary CVS card (one printed out from the website while my new one is being sent) will work on the coupon machine? I’d love to get that Biore CVS coupon.
Even without it, with $8 ECBs from last week and the $3/$15 coupon from FB, I’ll be getting all of this for $3.39 plus tax 🙂
    1 Biore cleanser
    1 Biore pore strips
    1 Lady Speed Stick
    3 Gain dish detergents
3 Red Baron pizza 12″ (second transaction)

I actually never wanted to deal with ‘rolling’ ECBs before, so I never couponed at CVS-until I found your site!
Last week was actually my first time couponing there. I spent more out of pocket than I had hoped ($20-eeek!) but left with $8 ECBs and 6 boxes of cereal, 3 boxes of hair dye, 1 shampoo, and 4 Coke 12pks!

    • Erin D.

Does your temporary card show a barcode on it? If it does, scan the barcode in the machine. If not, find a friendly clerk, tell her your problem that you want these coupons from the machine this week, and ask if they have a card they can scan to help you get those coupons. If not, ask for a new card. They will pull a new card out of the drawer and you can scan that one. There’s many ways to get you the Qs.

PS Yesterday at CVS I wanted to use my $2 & $3 ECBs, I bought some nail polish = $1.49 oop. Then I was handed a $7 ECB for next trip!!!! I was so happy.

    • allison

yes! my friend scanned her at the machine and got coupons! good luck

  21. Sarah

Thank you Colin, you make things easy on me and my family:)

  22. Haley

what other products are included in the spend $30 get free Cottonelle deal?? I dont have the ad in front of me, and am curious if anyone knows?? Thanks! 🙂

    • mel

i didn’t get my paper yet, but you can always go to CVS.com and click on the weekly ad link, then the upcoming ad tab.

  23. GEO

    Thank you….Always appreciated!!!!

    Happy Easter to all!!

  24. Linda

The magic red coupon machine printed a coupon for $1.50/1 Lady Speed Stick deodorant for me this week, so it will be a money maker…whoo hoo! 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      WooHoo! Even sweeter! 🙂

  25. kt

Bummer. My CVS ad reads that the Biore products are $7.29 each instead of 2/$15, I don’t think the ECB will print if I buy 2 Biore since it will only add up to $14.58. I am so bummed!!

    • stacey04

mine too! i didn’t realize cvs ad prices were regional? i’m in the chicagoland area btw

    • amhale11

That would be 97% of $15 and some have said the ecb will print as long as it’s 97% of the amount. I don’t know this for sure, but it might be worth a try!

      • mel

Its actually 98%, b/c when the cash card deal was running, it would print the coupon at $29.40, which is 98% of $30. So in order for the Biore to print, it would need to be $14.70 and buying 2 at 7.29 makes you short ($14.58)

  26. Tiffany Gibson

Collin on the Tampax/always deal you posted it pay $1.99 get $2 ecb final cost .99,i think you meant pay $2.99 get $2 ecb? 🙂 and also as @linda said above i also got a $1.50/1 lady speed stick at the magic coupon machine last week 🙂 SUPER excited about that one!!! Thanks for all your hard work!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Hi Tiffany,
That is if you have the $2/1 coupon that has been found in the Tampax boxes 🙂 Otherwise, you are right! It would be $0.99 each

  27. mj

I did the deal for the Kelloggs cereal buy 3 and get $4 ECB. Did not have a CVS card so the cashier was nice to use their courtesy card and I got the $4 ECB. Few days later i go back and signed up my own CVS card and did the Kelloggs offer again and tried to use the $4 ECB to pay for the cereal. They said the CVS card do not match so i was not able to use the $4 ECB. Manager was not nice about it and gave me a hard time so i ended up returning the 1st visit with my original receipt. I got my 2nd deal with my card this time so i still have $4 ECB to spend. I really thought they would let it slide since i’m new to this but the manager took my $4 ECB…hope they are not using it for themselves

    • cindy

Yes, The ECB numbers have to match. Otherwise people would be digging them out of the trash I would think. They should have told you that and known that. She was just letting you use it for the discount I am sure. Who knows maybe things have changed tho.

  28. tonya

question if i have my husband get his own cvs card could i go into the store and use both cards by myself or would he have to be with me…sometimes there are some great deals but they only limit 1? Happy Easter everyone!!

    • Amber

depends on your store’s cashier/manager. There is one by me that lets me use expired extra bucks (sometimes by months!) and they let me use mine & hubby’s card for the same deal and lets me do as many seperate transactions as I need too (usually not alot)- So theyre great & I LOVE them!!!!! But just around the corner there is a store that doesn’t take the expired EB or let me use 2 different cards even if it isnt for the same deal 🙁

    • Tammy

Most CVS ads state a limit per household. So technically unless your husband lives in another household I don’t think your supposed too have two cards. The “household” wording put an end to my two cards that I had and the managers at my store kindly enforced it. But, I have heard of other people having separate cards for other family members in other households like their sister or mom and they buy the deals for them.

    • Janie

Sometimes I use my brothers CVS card if there is a really good deal and it is limit one person card. He rarely shops there, but gave me one of his cards since I do and I purchase things for others besides myself. He originally signed up with the same address as me.

  29. Becca

I am new to couponing and am trying to figure out how everyone “stocks up” on good deals when almost every good deal at CVS has a limit of one. While I really enjoy going to CVS I feel like I am spinning my wheels each week driving out there to pick up one or two free things. Am I missing something?? Happy Easter =D

    • Erin

Well, most couponers aren’t shopping at just CVS–they usually pick up deals at whatever stores they shop: Target, WalMart, grocery stores, and/or any other drugstores–and they are usually long-time couponers, which means they’ve had time to build up a stockpile, so they’re in maintenance mode. Whenever you find a deal, you grab it. With nonperishables, especially HBA items, you’ll find that it’s very easy to quickly build a stockpile without even trying. I don’t bother looking for deodorant or shampoo deals anymore, but whenever an easy one falls in my lap, I snag it. For example, the last two deodorant and shampoos I bought were freebies at Kroger. Didn’t strictly need it, but it was free, and we will eventually need it. I slowly built a stockpile of wipes before my daughter was born (through various deals at Amazon, Target, and grocery stores), but I added to it when Wags had the Huggies wipes deal about a month ago. I am nowhere near running out, but last week, I got about seven more packs of wipes at the grocery store because they were .99 after sale and coupon.

If you are making a special trip to CVS every week to pick up just a couple items, maybe you could combine your CVS trip with your regular grocery shopping or other errands. Depending upon your time and the distance you have to drive to CVS, it’s probably not strictly worth it for just a couple free items a week, especially if you have access to a decent grocery store that doubles and/or a reasonably coupon-friendly Target or Walmart. I rolled ECBs for about two years at CVS, and I finally cashed out because it’s just not worth it anymore, despite the proximity of my CVS. I have to pay tax on my precoupon total, and I just don’t need most of the products that are free, so I was spending a lot of money buying things I didn’t need in order to roll. CVS is certainly fun (for a while–til it becomes a “job” 🙂 ) but there are certainly easier ways to get great deals.

      • Becca

Awesome info- thanks!!! I agree CVS is fun but I think it’s time for me to branch out to grocery stores! Thanks for the good advice =D

  30. Catalina Guerra

Is the $50 you need to spend to get the $15 rebate, before coupon price or what you actually spend for the items??

    • Molly

      Before coupons.

  31. VIcky

When I use the mq for free biore cleanser when you buy the strips, can I use another mq on top of that for any biore product? Just referring to the Olay cleanser/ body wash scenario from last month. Can I do the same thing?

    • irene

Use the $1 first, then the BOGO. The system doesn’t like it, but cvs policy allows it.

  32. micaela

Is the pg rebate before or after coupons to get up to $50? I’m at $41 before and a lot less with coupons!

    • irene

      Before Qs!

  33. i.

i bought the biose cleaner and strips but it came out to 14.49 and i did not get the 5 cvs bucks. did this happen to anyone elsea?

  34. edy

I found out that the biore deal is 4 times a monthly deal so if u buy 2 and didn’t reach the limit u can buy one more if u have a cpn 1dlr off some boxes have cpns inside of them. Also, biore boxes have some codes inside that u can redeem on facebook for cpns. Or u all can buy 2 more to reach the limit 4 times purchase. 4 X15 to reach the lomit. The same with the garnier shampoo, or hair color 60dlr was the limit. Its a monthly deal too the same with the special ‘ k cereal limit is 6 times 3 boxes @ time to get the 4. Bucks and here its still on sale 2.50 per box.

    • Annie

do you know if you have to buy the Biore in one transaction? I bought one bottle last week, so if I buy another this week will I get the $5 Extra Care bucks?

      • edy

Annie and trinity, the biore is a monthly deal the same with the garnier shampoo or hair color was last week buy 15 dlrs of garnier hair color or 4/15 shampoo get 5 bucks the limit is $60 meaning for every $15 dlrs purchase u get 5 bucks limit is $60dlrs. Also, the biore its buy 2 products limit 60dlrs for every 15dlrs u purchase u get 5 bucks, – -i scan my cvs card this morning and the red machine gave me 2 cvs cpns for 2 dlrs of biore towels and a 2 of advil, a 2dlr of thermacare, a 15dlr of physicians skin care formula, and 5 of 2 revlon cosmetics! So, I, will use the 5 of revlon cosmetics buy 2 eyeshadows and use 2 /2 dlrs manufct cpns and hopefully I won’t pay that much!! The cvs machine is giving out good cpns today!!

    • Trinity

      The hair color – Garnier?

  35. mary

Did anyone have a problem getting their colgate/palmolive $5 rebate? Mine got rejected cause it said I didn’t do it in 1 transaction, what’s funny is that I sent 2 receipts one was a total of $9.98 in colgate products and the other $2.74 before taxes. They could have just used the 1st receipt and let 2 pennies slide

    • Amber

I didn’t bother to send mine in. I did the deodorant deal @ CVS and the coupons rang up wrong and made my whole purchase like .80 cents so I figured they wouldn’t honor the rebate since I used coupons- but it did say on the form it had to be in 1 transaction (in the paragraph part). You could always call (if there is a number) and question it – I did that one time with another rebate and they just sent it out for me without question.

      • mel

you should have sent it in! My total was a little over $1 OOP after coupons & ECBs. I got my refund last week.

  36. Hope

At my CVS in central florida the biore products were $7.29 w/ Card. 🙁 This unfortunately isn’t enough to trigger the ecb if you only get 2. just a heads up.

    • jen

I’m in south fl and I was wondering if it would trigger the Ecb…. Thanks for the heads up. Wish they were 2/$15!!

  37. patrica perira

gracias, you are so nice to do all this for us, happy easter. gracias again

  38. Shanna

Does anyone know the zip for the toothpaste coupon?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I still see it under zip 33712 🙂

      • kidsallgone

        Not me 🙁

  39. Brittany

Thanks Collin! Happy Easter to you and your family! 🙂

  40. edy

  41. Jamie

I also received an email from CVS Extra Care for a $2 CVS Biore Coupon. I should be able to use that with the Manufacturers BOGO Biore Coupon, right? And, get the ECBs.

  42. edy

Yes, I got 2 the same cpns! On my card yesterday! 2 of the same! So,I’m planing on buying 4 biore products! With the buy one get 1 free cpns and those! I be paying like 10 plus tax and get 5 bucks for each set meaning 10 bucks! Then I can always buy 2 at@ time to make sure u get the bucks!

  43. Susie Lichty

I have heard there are (or were) $10 off Nailene Sensationail Starter Kit coupons good at CVS. Does anyone know where I can find such coupons?

  44. Lisa Moore

Biore products are listed in my ad as $7.29 each. Will I still get the $5 EB if my total is $14.58?
