Heads up – there will be NO coupon inserts in the newspaper tomorrow, April 8th, due to Easter (and did you know that Target will also be closed?). This is a great time to put coupon clipping on the back burner and spend time with family, friends and well, anyone that you ♥love♥.
I can’t wait to spend the day with my kiddos hunting for Easter eggs and indulging in candy! 🙂

Yes it is nice that stores close but walgreens is NOT one of them !! my daughter works for them, they were even open on christmas day !! Anywho Happy Easter to you & your family !!

Wow- didn’t know that Target will be closed- but not going shopping anyway. Although that is really nice to hear that a big chain store will be closed on Easter….getting back to the simple days????

My sister and I were dying eggs with the kids (12 to 7 months) and we were more excited than they were. She was all serious and drawing all over them with a crayon. It was hilarious. It’s funny how things like that can still be fun when you are 31! (not that I am that old 😉
My husband and I dye eggs every year…..and we don’t have any kids yet! 😀

Can you send me some snow or a 20 degree temperature drop? It’s barely April, and today’s high was 79 with 85% humidity. It’s midnight, and we’re still at 68 degrees!

I personally hate that holidays get turned into these huge shopping days and it is nice to see a big chain store hopefully setting an example. I do hope some place is open though, I forgot to buy milk today, oops. Lol

Do they really think that clipping coupons for fifteen minutes is going to really take that much time away from families? I mean seriously, send the coupon inserts because we could always just clip them TOMORROW.
Its not about taking time away from the couponers, it’s giving the people that work hard to get the paper together, the people who deliver it, and the retailers who sell it a day off with their families. Don’t be so negative. 🙂
