I have a question regarding the Kroger Shoppers Card E Coupons. Isn’t it true that you cannot combine manufacturer coupons with the e coupons? So as a couponer, I’m better off not loading my card up with e coupons, right?
At my kroger in michigan we cant stack them 🙁
If the coupon is a low value e-coupon then yes, in my opinion you are better off not loading them to your card. For example, at a Kroger in TN I had a 50 cent off paper coupon that would have been doubled. I forgot that I already loaded a 50 cent off e-coupon for the same product. The e-coupon is what was applied to my transaction and I was told that once this is loaded there is no way to substitute for the paper coupon (at my Kroger you cannot stack these together)…..now I typically only add high value e-coupons. Keep in mind though that the cart buster deals are likely going to be higher than any paper coupons you will find.
In Texas, if you have an ecoupon, you are not supposed to be able to use a paper coupon in addition to it. It usually depends on the cashier though. I have had some push coupons through even though I had an ecoupon, and I have had some not take the paper coupons. I can never remember what coupons I have on my card, and usually, I end up buying something that I have an ecoupon for but not a paper coupon, and I didnt remember that I had an ecoupon for the product, so it works to my benefit most of the time to load coupons to my card.
Darn it- wish I knew about this yesterday cause the deal was on Always and with 4 gals in my household we go through feminine hygiene products fast! I also only put higher value e-coupons on my Kroger card because of the no stacking policy.
I live in Ohio, and our Kroger stores do not allow you to use a manufacturer’s coupon if you have an e-coupon loaded onto your card for the same item. the e-coupons do not double. My stores double manufacturer’s coupons up to 50 cents. I usually only load coupons that are more than 50 cents to my card. If you load a coupon to your card and you decide you would rather use a mfr coupon, you can simply remove the e-coupon from your account.
