anyone seen these at menards or walgreens? not liking my local walmart (another cashier told me that they will NOT accept print out coupons if they do not scan on the first try) – have been going to this cashier for at last 6 months now, and he is really nice but said that is their new policy and the “higher ups” are really enforcing this one. none of my print out coupons scanned when he used the big scanner, but all scanned with his handheld. he only “gave it a second try” because he knew me from being a regular. please let me know if anyone sees these at other stores and for how much thanks! already applying the spray benadryl on my chewed up legs!

An…if it sounds to good to be true, it usually is. Have you seen this from Walmart’s coupon policy? NO…Walmart stores can not make up their own rules when it comes to coupons. Take the Walmart coupon policy with you every time, and ask to see that in writing. I bet they won’t show that to you. Definitely call corporate and let them know what your Walmart is doing.

Sadly, that’s how my Walmart is too. Their registers don’t recognize the new barcodes and if a coupon doesn’t scan on the first try, they won’t take it at all. It’s absolutely ridiculous! I do not shop at Walmart anymore. I’d rather pay an extra $2-3 at another store that is coupon friendly. I know that kind of defeats the purpose of couponing to save the maximum amount of money, but I’d rather give a little extra of my money to a store that has friendly staff and they’re patient with us couponers (I save enough with coupons anyway!). My Walmart is always rude and has even publically humiliated me and other couponers before. 🙁 Pass!!

I have similar issues at my local walmarts (3 of them). I haven’t shopped in a Walmart in 3 months. I got tired of dickering, waiting for a manager, proving their coupon policy. They are losing business because I would always pick up non coupon items while there.

NONE of my coupons scanned at Wal-mart today! I had 16…. It was such a hassle!

BUT….that doesn’t mean I’m not going back for more free candles today, lol.

at my wal-mart they had bigger cutter candles for 5$ and then medium size ones in tin cans a few isles over- in the lawn and garden dept. for only 2$ they burn for 20h. where the FREE ones listed only burn for 4h. if you see the red, white or blue tin candles they are a better deal for only a 1$ w/coupon your candle will burn 3X the amount of the the FREE candle.
