on a quarterly basis you are issued “Perks” which will print in the form of a certificate, but you can only use it for purchases at Office Max.

I have used the maxperks in store shopping. I turn in my used ink cartridges and get $2 back on each one, it takes about a month for you to get your reward then you can use it on a purchase. I turn around and buy my ink with these rewards but I have never purchased online from officemax. HTH 🙂
I just bought two for our business, and also the ream of Hammermill paper which was $48.99, but you get $34 in MP rewards. Spent $213 shipped for 2 chairs and the ream, and will get $174 back in MP rewards. Not a bad deal and we will use the rewards for office supplies I’m continually buying.

Can you use the rewards to get a Kindle? Anyone know if you get all the rewards at once of they limit how much you can redeem per purchase?
I brought my kids Kindle at Christmas with rewards!
I have $300 in Maxperks rewards and due to an online error on their end, I cannot use them! I called customer service and it’s a known error and takes 24 hours to reload the cards. By then, the chairs will be sold out! I cannot place an online OR telephone order using my Maxperks rewards until my cards are reloaded.
They are already out of stock of the leather chair also.
I’m speaking with a representative right now while typing this. She’s telling me that if you use a coupon code, the whole reward will be forfeited.
Just bought the brown leather one in store. I missed out on the 5% promo and 3% eBates but got to try them out first. Leather one is very comfy! Happy with my purchase!

It’s a lot of $ but I go through a good deal of paper & ink printing coupons and kids’ homework at home. With this offer I can also get a good deal on a much needed chair. Plus, from what I’ve read, the MaxPerks Rewards received can be used on other MaxPerks Rewards items in the future.
I think on the coupon code it doesn’t forfeit the whole thing you will just get that much less back
For example the chair was 79.99 and you get 70.00 back in max perks however if you use the code you pay 74.99 and only get 65.00 back in maxperks instead of the $70.00

The rep took a bit of a long while before she got back with me for the answer, so I guess she researched on this. Nevertheless, I didn’t use the coupon code for my peace of mind. Yes that correct.I used the coupon code and I just called the customer service to confirm that I still receive the max perks with adjusted amount.
Was told by 1-800 customer rep, that the $4.00 coupon code savings comes off of the Maxperks amount. In other words, you will still be paying the same thing for the chair. Either $4.00 off chair price – $75.99 and receive $66.00 in rewards or pay $79.99 for the chair and receive $70.00 in rewards.
Uggh. I should have followed my instinct! Well, that’s fine. Still a good price for the leather chair after using my merchandise credit. Thanks for the info=)

The last time I spoke with OfficeMax customer service,they said it expires three months from the date your max perks are issued.
Buyer beware on these chairs! The last chair we purchased from Office Max was a nice chair that even had a massage feature. The chair then started to peel all over. I contacted the manufacturer because Office Depot said they couldn’t help me. They sent the chair part by part to replace it, arm, then back, then arm…I give up!

I went to the store and bought the Glee chair today. I am a big girl so I always have to try chairs out before buying.
