Fine Print: Choose the “Send it to me first” shipping option to receive the card free. If you choose “Mail it directly to the recipient,” you will be charged $0.44 for postage. Limit one per household. Note that you will also be asked for your credit card to verify your identity and prohibit fraud, but you will not be charged for a free card if you mail to yourself.

It allows you to pick the delivery date.
Yes you can select when you want it delivered during check out. Or, to get it free, have it delivered to yourself first and just hold on to it until you want it sent out.
Does it work with any card or only Fathers Day Cards?
Yes, I believe that the code is only valid for the Father’s Day cards.
you have to pick a Father’s Day card, but you can always select one with a generic picture on front and change the text on the inside for whatever you want to use it for. Last month I editted a mother’s day card to be used for my mom’s birthday instead.
Charging me 47 cents?
That sounds like it’s for the stamp. Make sure to choose the “send to me first” option, then adding a stamp is optional.

boy i wish i waited, I used the earlier post with “freetreat” and i submitted the order at $0.00 but after i put in my cc info it said “oops it seems you already have an account so we have adjusted the following” and charged my card $3.49, so now ive paid for a card i didnt really need, geez!
The same thing happened to me yesterday too, except it didn’t give me the option to NOT pay the $3.49 it just did it without me accepting. 🙁
Mine is the same thing. I used their free offer in the past, but that was last November! I think I can’t be eligible for their free offer anymore. 🙁 Sad, but still I have Cardstore, so that’s ok.lol
Mine said the same “oops” thing but the total stayed at $0.00.
My total is $0.00 too, but it says ‘Sorry. We could not authorize your card.’ I used Amex GC for the payment which is used before. But if I need to put real CC info, I’ll pass… 🙁

I meant my total stayed $0 after it said “it looks like you’ve already used your promotion”.
Mine said that the promo code had already been used for my card and changed the total to the $3.49 so I just exited out of it. Later I saw an e-mail that said it had placed my order and that it was charging me the $3.49. I don’t remember using treat.com and I had to set up a new account when I made my card, but apparently I had already ordered from them. The card I ordered is cute so I not super mad, I just don’t like being charged when I didn’t even place the order, ESPECIALLY when I could have gotten the card free now. 🙁
I have an update: I talked to their customer service and they were super nice, they appologized for charging me for the card that wasn’t placed and are offering me a refund and still sending me my card. I’m thankful they were able to fix it 🙂
That happened to me when I lent my sister my credit card she called and used another card instead

Off topic, I just want to thank you Collin. I signed up on the Pinecone Research site the last time you posted about it and took my first survey on the 17th, and I just received a $3 check in the mail. I am very surprised to see the check dated just a day after my survey, and I thought I would have to reach a specific amount before I could request payment, but I am thrilled to see that is not the case. CHARGING ME TAX AND POSTAGE
I had that problem too at first. I went back and switched to the “send to me first” option and at that point, it was still charging me .25 tax. I was prepared to pay it, since that is an AMAZING price for a personalized card, but noticed that others were getting them free, so I put in the promo code again and it adjusted to $0.00.
Try taking off the stamp option and applying the code again- it worked for me.

The first order with them they make you enter the cc info. It did not get charged for me though when I used it on the mother’s day card. When I did the new card today it did not even ask for it.
They charged my credit card too. Had to contact customer service via live chat, and they corrected it. This is the second time this has happened with Treat for some reason….. To those that were charged and aren’t eligible for the free card you can contact them to cancel today. That’s what I was told before they confirmed I qualified for the free card. Thx.
I got the oops message too. Stayed on the page and did live chat. Took a few minutes but the lady changed my balance to zero so I could place my order. Email confirmation shows a zero balance.
I got charged 1.00 but it says on my order the total is 0.00? I just got charged without knowing about it!

I was reading terms and conditions. I found it confusing regarding the membership accounts. I noticed that there were no comments regarding this so I am assuming all the hip 2 save readers are comfortable that our credit cards will not be charged an annual membership fee!

I tried to make one today…says expired code
I had the same issue others are having, that they require cc info. Problem is, since I have a Tiny Prints account with no cc info on file, they request I input it – but the screen they provide for that is UNSECURED. The address bar reads http rather than https. I talked to them on Live Chat, and they had no answer, just said that that did seem unusual and directed me to their privacy policy – which says they share my general info anonymously and I can choose to opt out – but nothing about protection for sensitive financial information input on an unsecured site.
Until this glitch is fixed, I recommend anyone in this situation CHECK THE ADDRESS BAR and, if necessary, open a new account which hopefully will be more secure.
