I was going to try this today, but when I scanned the PF product it was bogo 1/2 off, and figured I wouldn’t get next weeks deal so I bought 2 PF products priced at 19.99, used my $12off crt and paid $18. I got the $10 gas card, no extrabucks.

    • Lyndi Hedgecock

they all start at different times between like 4 and 7. i would call and see when yours is and go then, because they do start saturday night so you would get a sweet deal! 🙂

    • amhale11

I have that coupon too, but mine expired yesterday 🙁

      • mouni

they might let you use it . Ask your cashier. They let me use 2 expired CVS coupons today!:)

        • stephanie

My CVS allows me to use all their magic coupon machine coupons that have expired, as long as they aren’t the percentage off ones. I found this out by accident because they won’t tell you unless you ask! At least that’s what my clerk said! So I am still using coupons that expired several mths ago!

    • thelostpond

The PF coupon that I had a while back said $15 off PF but in the brackets below it said a $12 value. It was weird, and I thought that I would have problems with it but it scanned for $15. Even the manager and cashier thought it was strange. I have had other from there do the same thing.

  4. Tracy H

Thank you for the matchup. Have a great holiday weekend!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks, Tracy! You too! 😀

  5. mandt711

    Sorry. Matchups

  6. Sarah

The math on the lean cuisine deal seems off. I think it’s $12 before coupons, not $15. Pay as low as $10. Final total $1.50.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oops you’re right! Thanks, just fixed…

  7. Kelly

Just a quick question because I am new to this and I don’t want to do anything wrong, but is it okay to use both the $0.75/2 and the buy 2 get 1 free coupons for the Milky Way candy? Since you still have to buy 2, could you use the $0.75/2 also?

    • Lyndi Hedgecock

no, you cant use them together. you would have to buy 5 if you wanted to use them both. then you would technically be paying for 2 after you got your extra bucks. buy 2=$1.50-.75c cpn- .75c exbks=free. buy 2 get one free=$1.50 for 3. so its still a good deal if you want to just do the one or both…either way 🙂

      • mel

yes, you can. Its called piggybacking. As long as either coupon doesn’t say “can’t be combined with any other offer” then I will piggyback.
If you don’t feel its right to do, then use 1 coupon or buy 5 like the PP suggested.

    • Nicole

Yes you absolutely can use them together…the 75 off 2 cover those 2 and because you bought those 2 you get one free…it is totally and absolutely legal and ethical couponing there

    • Tammy

      NO. You cannot do that.

    • Sarah

No this isn’t correct !That is using 2 coupons for the same items which isn’t ethical. Lyndi is right you wwould have to buy more than the 3.

      • Dawn

Yes you can, and it is not using 2 for the same item. If it was a buy one get one, you could also use another coupon, so it’s no different in this case. The b2g1 free is giving you a free item. That is what the coupon is for, so you absolutely can use another to save on the 2 you are buying. I did this same deal with the pantene this week. I bought 4, used 2 bogo free coupons, and another $3/2 for the ones I was purchasing and not getting free. No beeps or problems at the register, and my store makes sure every coupon is always used correctly.

        • thelostpond

I tried that a walmart, and it was a no go. I will try at cvs before my coupons expire since I have one washing left in my bottles.

    • Steph

You wouldn’t be able to use both coupons because your buy 2 get 1 attaches to those 3 items. Then your 75/2 attaches to 2 separate items. If your cashier doesn’t stop you from using both coupons on 3 items, the register will. Collin did a post on this issue at one point, but it’s been 6 months ago or more.

      • Dawn

Steph, I am sorry to disagree with you, but the 75¢/2 would apply to the first two items and the Buy Two Get One Free would apply to the third item, so yes, you can use both. Using coupons can be very confusing, but it helps if you think of coupons sort of like cash. In the Milky Way scenario, you buy two candy bars for $1.50. You pay for the two using 75¢ of the manufacturer’s money and 75¢ of your own money. Now, you have bought two candy bars. You can then use the other coupon to get the third candy bar free. Whether you pay for the first two with your own cash or use a manufacturer’s coupon to pay for part of it, it does not matter. You have still bought two candy bars. The only caveat is if the coupon has wording that limits consumers to only 1 Milky Way coupon per transaction.

      • sue

WOW! Thats alot of confusing comments there… But it all depends on how the coupon is coded sometimes you can use them together (a example was the pantene deal someone posted about) other times again depending on how it is coded you can NOT! In this case you can not, because of how the coupons are coded. I have these coupons and have looked at them. Personally, I wouldnt do it, because I know it is not correct. It does not matter if the coupon says or does not say “can not be combined” it is all on how the coupon is coded.

    • Ashley

Sue hit the nail on the head. It all depends on the coding of the coupon. Any time there is a P&G BOGO coupon, I always piggyback them with a cents off coupon at Kmart, and I have never had an issue. You can try it, but it may not work. Just make sure you hand them the B2G1 free coupon first, to make sure you get it taken off. They get really confused when you want to void coupons and get them back, to use other coupons.

      • mel

sorry, but it really doesn’t matter the coding. What trumps is the wording on the coupon AND if the store allows it. CVS doesn’t say one way or the other in the policy and I’ve never had a problem using a BOGO + cents off coupon there. Rite Aid allows it per their policy. Won’t work at Walmart (journal tape spits out), neither Target (its in their policy to not allow it)

I always give cents off coupons 1st, then the BOGO, which will usually beep b/c it asks for the price. Now with the Milky Way, the cashier scanned the BOGO first, which automatically took off $1.19. I think she scanned the long bar code vs the 12-digit UPC. Then she scanned the .75/2, and no beeps.

    • Simone

No, you cannot do this. Also, in the scenario, it lists the coupons available, one OR the other. To use both coupons, you would need to buy 5 candy bars. It’s great that you ask before u do things like that. So many ppl coupon unethically and make it hard for the rest of us just because they want to “beat the system”

    • amhale11

There is no mention of B1G1 or B2G1 coupons in CVS’s coupon policy, so I would apply this part of their policy to this situation: “Any coupon offer not covered in these guidelines may be accepted at the discretion of CVS management”.

    • Gracie

MY CVS ad says “Limit 1 per card” so how are you all doing 5 in one deal???

      • Kristy

I tried to use both coupons today at my store. It came back as exceeding coupon limit when I tried to use the 75 cents off two. So CVS will not let you use both of them together. Still a good deal IMO.

      • Robin

Limit 1 means you will only get 1ecb. You can buy as many candy bars as you want, but you will only get one ecb back for the whole week because it’s tracked with your card.

  8. Brittany

    Thanks Collin! 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome, Brittany!

  9. Mitch

    Awesome!
I also was emailed a 25% off coupon this week, when I combine that with what is left of my eGift card I automatically get 40% off of anything not on sale, I know CVS is tricking me into spending more money than I should, but it’s fun!
    thanks
    http://www.gaynycdad.com

    • alwaysashley03

Thanks for reminding me about that coupon! It’s buried in my email somewhere…

  10. Stephanie

If cosmetics are included in the Physician’s Care deal, then I plan on using the $3/$10 cosmetics purchase I received from the magic coupon machine last week also! Combining that with the coupons Collin posted should really sweeten the deal!

    • thelostpond

I bought the tinted lotion for your face and used the $3 on $10 and also it is a facial care item. Lotion? I say yes and so did the non beeping register!

  11. mel

How do you get the $1/1 coupon for the Skinny Cow candy? I played a while back and my coupon was $1.50/2 boxes. I’m thinking I didn’t get the ice cream coupon b/c I’m in LA and that is one of the dreaded “void in” states.

    • Jenny

I got $1.50/2 coupons from my local paper, but bought $1/1 coupons that were regionally different from where I live on ebay. Much better deal 🙂

      • mel

my area got the $1/1 coupons, but I was only able to get 1 extra set of inserts that week! Was hoping to get 1 more $1/1 manuf coupon b/c the magic machine spit out 3 $1/1 Skinny Cow boxed candy when I scanned my card this week! So my deal will look like this –
        $10.50 – 3 Skinny Cow
        – $3 (3 $1 Off Skinny Cow magic machine q’s)
        – $2 (2 $1/1 manuf q’s)
        – $3 ecb (rolling from previous deal)
        = $2.50 (or .83 box!!)

        • Jenny

That is awesome! Maybe I’ll get lucky and the magic coupon machine will spit some out for me tomorrow too 🙂 You can’t beat 83 cents a box for delicious chocolate!!

  12. Melissa

Rookie question: If I have a $5 of $15 purchase coupon that printed from the machine, does the total have to be $15 after my manufacturer coupons or before? Thanks!

    • Dana

It can be before, give them the $5/15 first.

      • Melissa

        Thanks for the help!

        • Dana

          Anytime!

  13. Carol_R

    Thanks Collin!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You’re most welcome, Carol! Hope you’re enjoying your weekend!

  14. Toni S.

Be sure to look for specially marked 12 packs of Schick ST2 Razors. When you buy 2, you get a free movie ticket from Fandango. Also the register took off the full value of the coupon ($10.50). So I paid $10.96 for four 12 packs of razors, got $10 ECB’s back and four codes for 2 free movie tickets.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Wow! What a bargain! 🙂

  15. Sasha

The Depend Q that I just printed from their site is saying $2/2 pkgs-not just one 🙁

    • Zelene

same here hmmm..maybe they ran out

      • alwaysashley03

I just printed mine and it says $2/1.

        • Kara

It depends if you’ve printed from them before…if you never have you get a $2/1, if you have it’s a $2/2

    • dee

If you bought Depends before there is a $2 coupon inside the box.

  16. lela

hello can someone tell me where the Physician’s Formula skin care is located i couldnt find it in the skin care isle or where the Physician’s Formula cosmetics is located

    • Molly

At the stores in my area they are located with the other skin care items, you might have to look carefully I did have a hard time finding them since they only have 4 diff. types.

    • amhale11

At my store they were in the skin care section on a lower shelf. Took me a while to find them too.

      • danielle

Thank yall so much hopfully i find it

    • meagan

I live in central florida and only 1 store within 30 miles had them. you might have to ask them if they sell it. I got the moisturizer on sale for 4.79 and got the 15.00 extra bucks.

      • Sandra

The Physician’s formulas moisturizers in my area (River Ridge, outside of New Orleans) were ringing up at $4.99, but DID NOT PRODUCT AN ECB. The cashier warned me that they were not going to produce the ECB “because they were on sale.” I tested it anyway and she was absolutely right!

        • Trinity

That’s what folks have been saying too… on other websites.

          • Amber

I was able to get the under eye cream for $3.99. It rang up at $4.99 plus I was able to use the $1.00 off coupon. Since it was posted for $19.99 with 15 ECB the manager was able to force out the ECBs for me. Awesome deal especially since next week they have the same deal.

  17. Kelley

I wonder if the Schick hydro silk is included in the deal?

    • Toni S.

They were not included at my store in southern Illinois.

      • Trinity

So only the 7.99 razors really work towards the spend 25, get $10 then? Darn!! I really wanted to buy 2 of the schick hydro silk & use my 25% off to get the $10!!

  18. alwaysashley03

I can’t find the Buy 2, Get 1 free in my 5/20 SS. Anyone else not finding it?

    • Lisa

It was regional, because I didn’t get it either.

  19. edy

Ladys, the pantene here in (Houston) the price went down to $3.25 tonight when they switch the prices. It was 2/6.97 before, also, the biore I bought 1 biore strips and 1 cleansear with cpn buy one get one free paid 7.99 for both but, got 5 bucks back. Also, spoiled nail polish if u all look under spoiled words very small its made by wet and wild. Use cpn 1dlr of any wet wild cosmetic free. I bought 2 spoiled nail polish used 2/1dlr cpns firs cpn tooked 1.00 second .98 cents free. Also, cvs red machine giving more 3/10 of cosmetics. Schick hydros razors scan them when in doubt as long as there $7.99 those are the ones for the 10 bucks. Some schick are 8 count green bags, some pink, some blue, some light purple scan them. Some schick cpns will take 10.50 even if manager is called to register and some managers their key and void the 10.50 and put the $7.99 manually.

    • Trinity

Hi Edy. So as long as the razors are 7.99 they will count towards the schick deal? I wanted to get a schick razor that is 12.99 but it sounds like that wont work?

    • Trinity

The 3/10 is for only cosmetics right? You can’t use that on anything other than that?

      • Robin

Last week I Had a $3 off $10 cosmetic purchase q and my cashier told me lotion was considered part of that dept and scanned the q and it took it! Made for a sweet deal! I’m going to ask them about it today for the Physician’s Formula deal. Have a good weekend.

        • Karen

I have a $3/10 coupon too. I asked about the eye make up remover lotion and the clerk told me cosmetics meant strictly make-up. Funny how every clerk has a different opinion…

      • Hol

Karen I used my $3off$10 Q on simple facial wipes and a simple mosturizer last week

    • Tarri

It was that price at my store on Weds and I used the hobo q, she took off 4.99 and I had a $1/2 cry off shampoo /conditioned and the ecb of $1 made it a mm of 49 cents.

  20. Cherry

what’s the math if you have buy one get one free coupon when there’s a buy one, get one 50%. are they going to deduct half off only and pay for just one item? thanks!

    • Ashley

They should take off th full amount, so you get 2 for the price of 1 half off.

  21. cr44@cox.net

Collin, Is there a way to reset an item on the list that is inadvertently deleted without having to reset the whole list and start over? Thank you for all that you do.

  22. edy

Trinity, yes only if the schick razors are $7.99 those work for the deal. If there tagged 9.89 remember some cvs don’t have their sale tags. So, ask them cashiers sometimes, they let u use their hand scanner instead, of taking of their locked case or shelfs. Instead of u having to ask them to unlock and scan and then had to put them back on their lock case oif their not priced @ 7.99. I had asked a manager to look on the back for spefifically for those and he went to the back took @ picture of what he had on huis cell phone and brought it for me to see. I saw 4 of them and he brought them to me and then I scan to be sure, and yes worked, so, my friend went last night 3am got her razors only 7.99 priced got her spoiled nail polishes free, wet n wild cpn. Made by wet and wild and her biore with bucks. And the 3 of 10 cosmetics I had 2 of those cpns. And I use them for almay had a cvs cpn for that too and combine them with anything u get bucks. Since cvs machine giving them atmnost everyday. If u do 4 schick razors @ 7.99 that’s 31.96 use 2 bogo cpns if they take 7.99X2= u pay 15.98 and get 10 bucks. But, if they take 10.50 u pay 10.96 and get 10 bucks it depends on ur cashier

  23. amhale11

Not related to CVS, but I have a question that someone hopefully knows the answer to. I got an ULTA ad that says “free tote with any Neutrogena purchase of $12 or more”. Do you know if they use the total BEFORE coupons to get the tote? TIA! 🙂

    • Tarri

I did not hand them my q ‘s until the end, it took them with no problem

      • amhale11

Awesome, thanks Tarri! For the B2G1 free do they let you use a coupon on the free item?

  24. vicki

Thanks Collin! I’m heading there this afternoon 🙂 Happy Sunday!

  25. Dee Dee

Is anyone having any luck with the physician’s formula deal in MN? We tried 2 different products and no ECBs printed.

    • Trinity

Did you buy the tinted moisturizer? Yikes, I’m your neighbor and I’m afraid to try it now if your ecbs are not printing!!

    • Robin

This morning the manager at my CVS said the only thing printing the $15 ECB is the actual “skin care” items. Not cosmetics. Like cleansers, moisturizers, etc would be included and guess what! My store doesn’t sell them, only the cosmetics! BOO! Also, they don’t carry the 12 pack razors either!

    • Trinity

No go here, Dee Dee. I’m in Wisconsin and I had to do a return. I suppose if I had purchased this yesterday, it would have gone towards the gas card anyway. 🙁

      • sue

Mine store sold the skin care stuff, but it was just on sale for a different price then you got the $15. there was nothing that would be free or a moneymaker.

        • Marcia

Mine has never been 11.99 like posted. they are all 19 something…. so still cheap

    • Diane

Moorhead, MN didn’t have the correct products, but Fargo, ND across the river did!

  26. Karen

The physicians formula was marked $20.99 at my store, not $11.99 (for the product listed). The smaller bottle was marked the same price as the bigger one so I price scanned them at the coupon machine. It said retail price $20.99 but underneath said Sale: $5.25. I asked the cashier (who was putting signs up) if I was reading that correctly… at first she said it was probably clearence then when I asked about the sticker below it she said that was the price after ECB. I thought maybe it was on clearance so I didn’t try it to see if an ECB would print (it says excludes clarence). Anyone else have this happen?

    • Karen

forgot to add…. I bought 4 packs of Schick Quatro razors using the B1G1 coupon. When I went to pay the coupon beeped saying “exceeds value”. The cashier had to manually enter the price of $7.99 to get it to work so I don’t think you can get the full $10.50 value amount on the coupon for those who have asked about that.

      • sue

I agree with you on the PF its NOT 11.99.

        • amhale11

I agree too. There is no PF skin care item at my store under $20. 🙁

    • hamsmom

Yes this happened to me, but the loer price on the scanner is a “clearance” price and the item isn’t producing an ECB. Yet it is advertised on the sale hangtags that just went up as 19.99n and producing a 15.00 ECB. I’d bet this is all an error in their system. The store manager says she doesn’t understand it.

    • Dora

I got 2 PF creams NO ECB… they were $4.99 each tho used my 12 dollars off CVSq so made them free but ECBs would of been nice :-\

      • Dora

I called CVS and they gave me my $15 ECB:-)

  27. edy

Yes! The schick razor bogo cpns beeps and manager came to scan her key in and when that happens it automatically takes the 10.50 but, if they void the amount and re-enter amount 7.99 and some managers they just let it go for 10.50. It all depends on them!

    • Jenny

I got mine today, no beeps and it took $10.50 off. I ALWAYS use my bogo’s at cvs since the max value always comes off at the register 🙂

  28. Lindsay

FYI — Got $1 off any toothbrush at the coupon machine and got a free CVS brand one. It was .99 cents 🙂

    • lovedeals

I got that coupon too and I will buy colgate toothbrush. It is on sale for 2.99 and get $2 ecb. If you have mfr coupon then you can use machine coupon and mfr coupon and It is going to be moneymaker.

      • amhale11

I had that coupon too, but it expired 🙁 Are there any mfr coupons out there?

        • lovedeals

I have the smart source that has spanish coupons. These coupons expires in june first week. That has $0.75 off coupon on colgate toothbrush.

  29. Susan

I got a $1 off Nivea body wash coupon (exp. 6/10) from the magic coupon machine. Question: has anyone had this problem? I tried to use 4 50 cents off coupons (from the link suggested in the matchups) for a purchase of 4 dole fruit cup packs on sale for 2/$3. The purchase would be $6 with $2 off for a paying total of $4. The cashier and manager told me I could only use one coupon because each coupon had the same scanning number and the coupon reads “One coupon per purchase.” I didn’t make the purchase. Any thoughts?? By the by, when I got home and looked at the coupons more closely I did notice that the pin numbers in the upper right corner of the coupons are different. Thanks!

    • mel

the cashier & manager were both wrong. When they tell me that junk, I explain politely as I am putting a coupon on each item, “this is a purchase, this is a purchase, etc..” then with my hand make a circle and say “this is 1 transaction. These coupons don’t say limit 1 per transaction, but rather 1 per purchase which means you, the cashier, cannot scan 1 coupon 3 times for my 3 items, you need to scan each coupon for each item so your drawer will balance at the end of your shift.” Then the light bulb goes off! LOL With IPs though, lots of stores are leary, but again, as nicely as I can, explain that the only numbers that will be different are the Verify codes, so they know each coupon is unique. Sometimes I will show them insert coupons that I might have multiples of, so they can see the bar codes are the same.
      Good luck next time!

      • Susan

Thanks Mel. I tried to explain it to them but they didn’t get it. I like your description as to the difference between a purchase and transaction. I’ve had a problem with coupons at this CVS before. I’m going to try another CVS and hopefully I won’t have this problem.

    • Dee Dee

My thoughts regarding them not letting you use 4 coupons…… Were you at my CVS (won’t name town this time), MN? Some cashiers and managers are just not fully understanding their coupon policies. I am sure it is because they are just very afraid of getting in trouble for doing something wrong. I have also been hearing stories of some aggressive couponers in my area that are starting to turn the cashiers off to couponers in general. All my other CVS stores that I go to would let you use the 4 coupons in the scenario you described.

  30. Julianna

I got 6 1L bottles of Diet Pepsi for $0.44 each today. On sale for $0.99 and used the $.55 off one coupons from last weeks paper. I also used some EBs and only paid $1.24 for all 6 bottles.

    • Julianna

      sorry 2L bottles

    • debbie

Where did you get those coupons?

  31. Karen

I bought a bottle of Crest Pro-Health mouth wash for $5.99 – used $3 off coupon (from vocal point) and $1 off and mouth wash (coupon machine). Paid $1.99 got $3 ECB… I love money makers! 🙂

    • Carol W

THANKS for the info, I have that Vocalpoint Q and need to use it!

  32. amber

The Cottonelle wipes deal? 1.99 minus .50/2 coupon 1.49 each?

  33. abflips2@hotmail.com

Ok Question. I went to CVS and bought the following items:
    Shick Hydro 3 blades (8.99)
    2 Shick Slim Trim disposables (8.49 each= 16.98)

I used a $2 coupon off for the Hydro 3 blades and then I used the B1G1 coupon for the disposables. The register took the max 10.50 off rather than the actual cost of one (8.49). After all was said and done and my receipt printed out and I did not get the 10ECB backs from spending 25.

I tried to talk to them about it and the guy said because I used such an expensive coupon that it did not give me the ECB. I’ve never had a problem with this before using the B1G1 coupon. Should I go back and talk to them again or has the policy changed? I would have never done the deal if I had know that it wasn’t going to print. Thanks!

    • amhale11

I bought 4 packs @ $7.99 & used 2 B1G1 free coupons. They took off $10.50 x 2 AND the ECBs printed with no problem. The cashier even called the manager over when he noticed it took off $10.50 instead of $7.99 and they tried again and it did the same thing, so they let it go through. Using coupons should not affect you getting the ECBs, so I would talk to a manager about it.

Have you done the deal previously? The limit was actually 5 during the month of May, so if you maxed out 5 deals already, then the ECB wouldn’t print. If this is the first time doing the deal, then what does the bottom of your receipt say towards amount earned/amount needed?
As pp stated, coupons have no bearing on ECB deals.

The current deal is if you buy ANY Shick products over $25 worth right? Is that where I went wrong? Was it only for certain Shick products? Thanks so much! I’m going to head back soon.

The schick deal only works on razors that are $7.99 not the ones $8 and up. Schick quatro or schick 5 only, and if u buy the ones that 8.49 it won’t produce the 10 bucks. Also, biore if u buy the strips and cleanser u get 5 bucks unadvertised deal. And bottom of my receipt it states amount towards reward 15 needed 15.

Is Pantene back to normal price or are they on sale? I forgot to scan them when I was at CVS today. I noticed they weren’t tagged, but just wondering if anyone else did this deal yet?
