Thanks! I just started getting this magazine!

      which issue of ebony ?

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I believe the May issue! 🙂

  5. Debva

Crest Pro-Health rinse turned my husband’s teeth brown! There is even a warning on the bottle that it can happen. Luckily Crest’s customer service was awesome and paid for my husband’s teeth cleaning and reimbursed me for the cost of the mouth wash.

    • mel

I had to stop using the rinse b/c it made my teeth feel funny! Never turned my teeth brown, but boy it would take hours for the sensation to go away!

    • mm

It turned my teeth brown too, and my hygienist recommended not using the rinse anymore. I switched to the purple Listerine without issue.

    • Annie

WHAT?! Do you know if it’s all Crest Pro Health oral rinses?

      • Erica

I’m a dental hygienist, it doesn’t stain everyones teeth like it does on some, but the ingredient to look for on the list is “STANNOUS FLUORIDE”. I believe most crest pro-health products contain it. The stain easily comes off during your regular dental cleanings 🙂

    • SoxGirl1029

Yes! The same thing happened to me. It turned the backs of all my teeth brown! My dentist had to use a peroxide spray to get it all off. I’ve been using the Tom’s of Maine mouthwash since my last cleaning and I’ve been fine.

    • cal

doesn’t surprise me 🙁 hope all is well with your husband now

  6. Brittany

Is it just me because the ad posted on iheartcvs.com completely different then what Collin has posted.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes, it sure is. Looks like there will be some regional differences this week? I went to CVS.com and looked at the Upcoming Weekly ad.

  7. mel

My ad is completely different too.. I don’t have Pepsi, Tom’s of Main and a few other deals, the Dove is different and for the P&G products, Gain is .88. Also, my ad is 4-days only, with a 25% coupon that will print if I scan my card on Thursday and something else for Friday & Saturday.

    • Marie

Mine is totally different from Collins also. It is also only Sun-Wed. and then Thurs. its 20% off entire purchase, Fri its $5/$15 purchase and Sat. its $2 off any toothpaste. You need to scan your card each day Thurs, Fri and Sat. to get the deals and its one per card. Its going to be an awesome week at CVS!!!!! ( I live in the Columbus, Ohio area)

      • Janel123

Mine too, (Newark, Ohio area). Marie, how do you know about the Fri. and Sat. scan? My ad only says the Thurs. – Sat. 20 % off, unless I’m just missing it.

        • Marie

I guess I can post it here. I saw it on another site. Dealseeking mom had the CVS ad matchups posted on here site. She had the Thurs-Fri-Sat. specials listed there.

          • ann

I’m in Stow, oh, and mine is the same..yesterday when I asked the manager if the 20% was good on everything or just non-sale items (as it usually is), she said it can be used on everything because nothing will be on sale. ? Do you think that means we should get all of our RR deals by the end of today? She said cvs is trying something different..

      • Renee

I live south of Dayton and my ad is the same-4 day sale, Thur-Sat 20% off purchase with coupon. We have different P&G items-no shampoo, Gain laundry or Pampers, different size Bounty-but the Charmin is $8.99 for us. Our Pepsi doesn’t have any ECB deal just straight 2/$5 and we are included in the $1.88 cereal sale!

        • mel

apparently there are about 4 different ad this week, so you have to look at your individual ad since the match-ups this week aren’t 100%. Some areas got a bigger ad with lots of ECB deals, some areas a small ad, some areas a 4 day ad with 1 20% coupon and other areas a 4 day ad with 3 different coupons.

          • amhale11

Maybe even more than 4! My Pepsi is a flat $2.88 with no ECB deal.

    • Jennifer Simon

So funny my gain is .99

  8. Carol_R

    Thanks for the match-ups Collin!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome, Carol!

  9. Melissa

Pepsi coupon is one per customer transaction.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Bummer! Thanks for the update!

      • Margaret

So if I do one per transaction in 4 transactions, will it still trigger the ecb? (meaning it does not have to be a single transaction?)

  10. Cassy

Glad I found a coupon friendly CVS store not too far from my house. The cashiers and managers are so friendly. One cashier gave me the sale ads for the next two weeks so I can get my coupons together early. The manager checked me out time and was telling me what red box coupons I could use for extra savings. I love that store. It is not the closest CVS to me but for the excellent customer service I will drive to shop at that store.

    • SJ

I am glad to hear I am not the only one that goes to a store less convenient. Mine doesn’t help with match ups but they are friendly and know what they are doing.

  11. Nichole Thibodeau

quick thought on gillette disposable razors. they are b1g1 50 % off. there are b1g1 free coupons so you can get the higher priced item free right? then there are -2 mcs can you use one on the 50% off one? i didnt see it in their policy. if it would work and used with the 10 off 30 gillette coupon i am thinking this stuff would be almost free. any thoughts??

    • sue

Probably will depend on what the cashier takes off, and they will probably take off the smaller amount

    • Laura

Oh yes! I have been collecting soooooo many gillette coupons for this week! Two weeks ago I did the covergirl deal where the cosmetics were buy one get one 50% off with the additional $4/$12 cosmetic coupon. All three CVS’s near me took off the higher priced item.

I figure that if anyone tries to take off the 50% item, I will counter with “you have a bogo free policy that you will take a bogo free coupon with a bogo free promotion, giving me two free products – the store gives me one free and the manufacturer gives me the other free, I see no reason why a bogo 50% would be different.)

My scenario with all my gillette coupons looks like so:
4 Gillette Disposables at $11.49 (at least that’s what they’re priced at my store)
      4 Gillette Disposables at $5.75 (50% off)
      Total before coupons: $68.96

      Use 2 $10/$30 Gillette purchase -$20
      Use 4 BOGO coupons -$45.96

      Final: $3!

Yes, $3 freakin’ dollars for $91.92 dollars of NICE razors!
      I’m so stoked! =D

However I am interested in finding out if it’s just GILLETTE or does it include Venus as well seeing as all the packages say “gillette venus”.

      • Brent

It Does Include VENUS Did Another Similar Deal Yesterday!!!

      • Lisa Davis

Hi that is an amazing deal.
That would be the kind I would have trouble sleeping before I did it.
I live in Florida and was wondering about the 10/30.00 coupon you posted about.
Where did you find it if you do not mind me asking?
        Thanks Lisa

        • Trinity

Hi Lisa. The 10/30 was printing out from the red machine all week! I think I usually got mine on the 2nd or 3rd scan. I’m hoping it’ll continue to print out this week too!! Wishful thinking, I know. 🙂

      • Thrifty Puppy

And dont forget the $10 Gillette rebate. There are a couple out right now that would work for this scenario.

        • whitephantom

          what rebate? where?

      • whitephantom

just got back, i only had one $10/$30 coupon, but I got 4 venus tropical disposables and used bogo coupons, in which they took off full price and not the 50% off ones (yay) and i had some other coupon in there and it all ended up free

      • Pam

I used the BOGO coupons on the Gillette Machs and the Venus. The 50% off of the second item as listed in the sale ad took $6.00 off each, not 11.99.

  12. Monie

There is also Purex Crystals $1.00 off any one 28 oz or larger pg 75 on Better Homes and Garden July issue. Limit 1 per shopping trip though. The ipq coupon is redeemable at walmart did anyone print this and does it have the walmart logo on it?

    • juanita

yes mine has walmart logo and says redeamable at walmart….my CVS here in Texas don’t take these

  13. Robin

Manager at the CVS in Kennesaw, GA said CVS is making coupon changes. He said I would have to make the $30 total on the P&G items after coupons in order to get the ECBs. Has anyone else heard about this change?

    • Pam

I just got back from CVS and purchased 3 Charmin TP at 9.99 each=29.97. I had 3 (.25) coupons and it still generated the $10 ECB.

    • sue

never heard a thing about that…… i had a different store (not cvs) tell me that, and they are not friendly about coupons… but hadnt heard anything abou cvs changing.

    • irene

That’s what managers at Wags say when a RR doesn’t print. It wouldn’t surprise me if it does happen, though. Stores seem to be wising up to coupon usage lately, ie not accepting slightly expired Qs.

      • shanshan

Another BS from manager who’s too lazy to make things right!

    • shanshan

“Making coupon changes?” Don’t buy that BS! If it’s not on paper then it’s not changed.

    • Amy Chapman

I dont think that will happen, because CVS receives the money for the manu coupons. The store doesnt “loose the money” they submit it for a refund. If you forgot to use a coupons and you came back with the manu and receipt they would give you the cash for it. Sounds that that manager is just too lazy to want to submit coupons for refunds :-/ or

  14. Trinity

Thanks Collin! You and I must be in the same region?! 🙂

  15. Lana

How do I sign up for a savings star account?

    • fran

Click any of the links in the post above.

  16. kandie

hey about the huggies deal theres a cvs coupon for the pullups so can i combine that with the $2 pullup coupons coming this week?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes, you can combine a store coupon with a mfg. coupon! 😀

  17. sarah

this ad looks like it has good deals the one in ga sucks this week it doesn’t have the get 2ecb on venus or half of the deals that is shown above 🙁 but why

  18. Brittany

    Thanks Collin!

  19. kelly

Is anyone having trouble printing the ocuvite coupon?

  20. shanshan

Love to know if Sierra Mist is included in the Pepsi product sale! Have been holding on to the coupons forever.

  21. Ashley

My ad is different too. Cereal is $1.88 each limit 4. Colgate toothpaste is $2.49- $1.50ECB- $.50mfc = $0.49. Pepsi 2/$5 limit 4

  22. Rebeca

Oh, how I wish CVS was participating in the 400 additional Gift to grow points! This would be the perfect week for the deal! 🙁

  23. Jen

Quick question? Does anyone know how to print the coupons from common kindness.com I see where I can clip them but cannot print them. Help please 🙂

    • Trina

Once you check CLIP, there is a yellow bar that shows up along the bottom that says PRINT. I hope that helps you!

  24. jesse

Does anyone know…on the CVS coupons from the machine- When it says “4 dollars off of 20 in Beauty” is that just makeup or does it include shampoo and body wash and such?

    • Kat

I used one of those coupons last night when I bought Jergens natural glow lotion and a couple of Biore items (face wash and the cleansing towelettes) and it worked fine. I would think it would work on body wash, etc. You might want to double check at the store, there were signs near the products I bought promoting the beauty club, so if it qualifies for that, it should work for the beauty coupon. Hope this helps! 🙂

    • Katie

I have also used the $4/$20 coupon for shampoo and conditioner. I think it’s any item that qualifies as beauty. One way to tell if it’s beauty is if it’s on the pages in the ad that say “Beauty Club”.

    • Pam

At my CVS, they told me “beauty” includes anything on that half of the store that cosmetics is on. So, yes shampoo, etc are included.

      • Teresina Bliss

I asked cvs on their FB page and I was told that for example razors are not included, but shampoo should work fine. I think I am going to stock up with Herbal Essence and use this coupon 4$off of a 20$ purchase. has anyone tried this?

  25. Elizabeth Richter

I purchased 2 Tides and 6 Pantene’s today, and it didn’t generate the $10 EB. Apparently the Pantene didn’t apply to it. Anyone else have this issue?

    • Christina

I’m in NC and the Pantene didn’t trigger a ECB…but my cashier went ahead and printed my $10 because she knew Pantene was a P&G product. You may want to go back and ask a manager.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Be sure to check your ad – in some regions the Pantene is not included in the participating P&G products promotion. 🙁

  26. Maria

there is a $1 off one gillette fusion shave prep in the 6/3 p&g brandsaver!

  27. amhale11

I have coupons for FREE Snickers or M&Ms 1.01-2.13oz that I won from an IW game. Could I use one for the “buy 1, get 1 for 25 cents” deal and get the one I buy for free so I would get 2 for 25 cents?

    • Andrea

That is what I plan on doing. To be sure I get the first one free I am going to have them scan a snickers first and then get a milky way for .25. Then when they take off the coupon it has to be for the snickers!

      • amhale11

        Great idea… thanks!

    • Elizabeth

If you have kroger in your area they have buy 2 snickers get 1 free. I used 2 free coupons & got 3 for free 😉

      • amhale11

I have Ralphs, a Kroger affiliate, but I don’t see it in the ad. I will definitely check it out, though! Thanks for the heads-up!

  28. kunkel5250

I just realized I have extra bucks that expired on 6/13. Will CVS still take them?

    • Elizabeth Richter

It’s a YMMV situation. It depends on the manager.

    • Pam

I’ve been told by 2 separate stores this weekend that no CVS coupons or ECB after the expiration dates by corporate. Both of these stores used to accept them up to a few days afterwards, but not now.

    • Marcia

      Also told no, sorry!

      • brenda81966

just did it today, $1ecb, but i love my cvs, they will do anything to make you happy, i buy them, christmas gifts, thats how nice there are, plus i got in at least 2x a week, they all been there long time, so like family…lol….

  29. Stella

I lost my coupon folder and in it, I had $17 in ExtraBucks expiring today (sob). Is there any way to get them reprinted?

    • Elizabeth Richter

Check your account on CVS.com. They may be in there since they weren’t used yet. HTH

      • mel

CVS updated their online acct and the only ones that you can print will be your Beauty Club and Quarterly extra care bucks.

    • Terrie

I would suggest calling CVS-I have called and they have sent them to my card so the next time I went in they would print out–worth a try-Good Luck!

    • Pam

I also lost my entire file with mine and my mother’s ECB’s. I did still have the cards. I called the phone number listed on-line and they reinstated all of the ECB’s. They printed out at the kiosk the next time I ran the cards.

  30. Margaret

Still wondering, does anyone know know whether the ecbs print if not all the purchases are done in one transaction?– for example the pepsis like Collin was suggesting?

    • Renee

As long as your CVS card is scanned with EACH transaction it should print the ECB once it’s been fulfilled no matter how many transactions you do. I’ve never had a problem doing this. Your CVS card tracks all your spending in each transaction.

  31. Kristen

I have the same ad that Collin’s scenarios are based on, but I’m confused about the Pepsi deal and thought maybe someone could help me out 🙂
On the first page of my ad is advertised 4 12-packs of Pepsi for $15 with a $5 ECB, limit 1. Then on page 13 (by the picture of the brown M&M) is advertised spend $15 on items on this page, get a $5 ECB. Pepsi 12-packs are listed again as 4/$15, but this time it says limit 2. I think I would have to do two transactions, but could I get 8 Pepsi 12-packs for $30 and $10 receive in ECBs? Anyone tried to do this more than once? Thanks 🙂

    • Jen

I think you could do that. I bought 4 12 pks today and on the bottom of my receipt it doesn’t say limit reached. It says amount needed to earn this reward $15, so I think it is a limit of 2.

Has anyone cooked up a good makeup scenario? I have a $4 off $/0 beauty I thought might combine well.

Keep in mind that beauty includes more than cosmetics. Could be hair color, shampoo, lotions, soaps, etc. It’s hard to come up with a scenario everyone can use since there’s so much variation in the ads this week. Half the stuff listed isn’t in mine!

That’s true and my coupon expired. 🙁 It took me FOREVER to go thru the ads and do my own match-ups. I am more grateful for Colin now more than ever! However, I did an awesome job I think. I haven’t posted the blog post yet but it’s coming on my site http://www.alwaysashley.com. Not sure if you are in my region (SC) or got the same ad but if so, you will still have to copy what I did. I plan to post the deals today or tomorrow. Running to get my Wags deals first so I can post them together. 🙂

I was just wondering about the TIde and Charmin TP deals. I have 2 $2/1 coupons for Tide along with 3 $1/1 Tide. I also have some Charmin TP coupons from the June P&G. I also have 2 $4/$20 CVS coupons, one from the machine and one from an email. I just don’t know what to do to roll my $10 ECB’s. Any help fellow couponers??

Does anyone know or think if the tide boost will qualify for the $10ecb? I have a coupon for $1.50 off and am wondering if anyone has done this. It seems like a fairly good deal if it works.

  36. edy

The tide boost is not a participating item for P&G items. But, the 14 count tide boost is $4.44 at my cvs bought 4 they only have 4 on shelf and used a 25% off worthed and cheapear than target and kroger .

Today the magic coupon machine at CVS spit out a $2 off any Cheerios Q. It was also valid for Honey Nut Cheerios. I’m in the region with the $1.88/box sale (limit 4), it was a nice surprise to go along with the mfr Qs ($1 off 2).

There were several Crest and Colgate coupons in the booklet that some may have received in special marked Colgate toothpaste that you can match up with the CVS oral care deals. I also had a $2 oral care coupon in my account when I logged in to CVS that I will combine with the other oral care deal I will do.

I did super duper on Aquafresh toothpaste today. They were on sale buy one get one 50% off. I also had 6 $1 off Aquafresh coupons (From a blinking machine) that expired soon, as well as $5 off $10 of Aquafresh products. I bought 6, and the total was $10.23. The coupons totaled $11 so I made about .75!!!
