I have to say, when I first picked this up, I was sort of hoping it was something like Cooking Mama where you virtually made the food in the game. But I was pleasantly surprised that it was much more elaborate than CM. In this one you actually have to make the dishes, which is fine by me, and it gives you a daily calender with holidays and suggestions as to what you should prepare for that holiday.
My ten year old daughter absolutely LOVES this! WE should be spending time with her in the kitchen, but she’s got an inexhaustible capacity for cooking, and this gives us a BREAK! This made her DSi her FRIEND.
I love the fact that the program talks to you and tells you what to do so you’re not getting an actual cookbook wet or damaged while you’re preparing a recipe. I wish it had more recipes; it is limited. But it’s still fun to use and I’m glad I purchased it. I would think it would be more for a beginner.

The item actually just ships for free since the seller isn’t charging anything for the shipping part. Just add it to your cart and as long as there aren’t any other items in the cart when you checkout, you will just pay the $3.49 for the game.
I add it to my cart and it says free shipping and then in my cart it says $4.49. Weird, but I will take it.
They are no longer doing free shipping but the game was only .75! So 4.75 shipped. Got it for my daughter for Christmas who will be 8 right before that.
