I thought that would work, but the rebate form says to Remove the Original Rebate hang tag from the item and mail it in.
In one place it says that it’s the official form and like you said in the other it talks about the hanging tag. But there is a phone number on the form for questions, so I suppose you could call and ask them just to clarify and see what they say.
Just called and was told that hangtag/peelie is required. After checking 8 stores, I thought I’d call and verify that it was needed. I thought maybe their marketing dept. could send me one, but she said they’re not available and she didn’t know where or if they were on products in my area. Bummer!
When I sent mine in, the rebate for specifically said the price AFTER coupons would be rebated 🙁
I bought this eons ago when they were free at Walgreens (coupons/tip from HTS). It is hard to use as you have to squeeze the sides in to spray and essentially it is just a glorified spray can. So, it you do not find the hang tag to get it free, don’t sweat it:)
In my town it is really hard to find a hang tag from an item…Yesterday while in line at the register a heard a cashier telling another cashier that she had removed over 80 coupons from some type of bug spray and ended up purchasing herself 80 free bug sprays since that item was on sale.
I have seen them at Target but actually got mine from Kroger. There is another product with a peelie as well that is 8.99 (some kind of oil/candle thing with a wooden shade), but you do have to send the peelie and hang tag in along with the form that you print online.
I send hang tag and everything but they found my offer invalid by saying that ” your submisson did not include an original hangtag or sticker as stated… They asked me to send them but I already did 🙁 luckily I have a picture of the items hangtag rebate form from my blog, I hope they will do something about it…
I sent an e mail they called me quickly. problem solved, my check is on the way… and its good to take picture of the items before I sent for rebate and blog post did help 🙂
