  I was able to DM them just by following them. I just typed Pillsbury into the recipient. I hope it works for you soon!

  So I did what I said and they never responded even after they said they were out… so I DMed them again and they said they received my message and asked for my address. Don’t know how it worked out for you guys, but just wanted to let you know that since we got it in, we should be okay! Just confirm it with them to be sure! 🙂

   You can only direct message them if they follow you. So unless they are following you back you cannot request one 🙁

  It took about 10 or 15 minutes to get a DM back. They are probably getting a lot of requests now so it might take longer

   I DMed them and I got a response in about 5 minutes. And they don’t have to be following you for you to DM them. My family is going to love this! Thanks for sharing!

   Ok kind fellow Hipsters, I’m a complete NEWBIE to twitter! Didn’t even know what DM was till now, Figured out how to follow & tweet Pillsbury…now how to I know if they responded & how do I DM back? TIA for any help & for not laughing at me too much!

    They do not have to follow you to direct message them.When looking at their Twitter page you will see the”Following” tab on the upper right hand side.Beside that is a tab with a person silhouette.Click that and it will drop down to a direct message option. (copied from another post)
