After you register, a credit of $5 will be automatically applied to your Amazon.com account, which must be used by December 31, 2012, and may be redeemed on future purchases of eligible movies and TV episodes on Amazon Instant Video until the credit balance is used or expired.

Just registered and the credit didn’t apply. Did a live chat with Amazon and they said they’ve been having problems with this promotion not crediting some people. They added the $5 to my account no problem. Yay for customer service!!!

Where did you look to see if the credit applied. I looked around and didn’t see it anywhere.
