I so wish we had Cvs stores in our area. They seem to be the best drugstore for sale and they are on Viggle. I would be all over that reward if I had one. Instead I do Starbucks and get my Sunday papers for free.

    • marlene

starbucks give there papers for free?

      • anonymous

I think she meant that she uses her Viggle rewards to get Starbucks gift cards and uses the gift cards to pay for her papers. 🙂

      • Stacy

Gift cards for Starbucks are good for anything in the store. So get gift cards and then get the paper

        • Marlena

really? That’s nice to know .

  2. Ashley57

Anyone have any great deal scenarios for this? Thanks!

    • irene

Stack it with all the great crts that printed last week. This a great opportunity to get what you want/need instead of the deals in the ad!

  3. Marie

I live in Ohio and it was printed on our ad that came in the Sunday paper. Went this morning and had to scan my card twice in order for it to print out. So if it doesn’t print, scan your card until it says no more coupons today.

  4. Susie

    Sunday through Wednesday..

  5. Ruby

I just came back from CVS (not knowing about this deal) and this coupon did not print for me. 🙁

    • lynn

      Didn’t print for me either!!

      • Nita

I got it but my mother, who shopped with me, did not. I got it the second time I scanned my card. I thought maybe she would get it printed on her receipt, but did not. Our store’s kiosk only prints with first two scans per day…

    • Gaby

Did you scan your card more than once? You should scan until it says no more coupons

      • marie

Scan your card until it won’t print anymore coupons. Sometimes it is only once but sometimes I can scan 4 times a visit and it keeps spitting out coupons. It is limit of one per card per household so every card should get it once.

  6. Dawn

Great deal on the parm cheese. I think I will stock up on that!

    • Maria

What Parmesan cheese deal??? I would love to stock up on that too!!! 😀

      • Marie

Might be a regional deal but Kraft Parm. cheese is 2/$4. Just make sure to flip it over and check the exp. date on the bottom.

  7. Limerick

Can you pair the $4/$20 Q with the $4/$20 Nature Made vitamin Q if you buy $24 in NM vitamins? Or would you have to spend $40 total?

    • Gaby

      You have to spend $40

    • Heidi

You can pair the coupons. Spend $24 in NM vitamins. Use $4/20 NM coupon and use $4/20 store coupon. Spend $16 after coupons.

    • debra

you don’t have to spend $40. Just make sure your total is at least $24. Use the NM Q 1st then the $4/20 puchase q. Then all your other coupons. As long as your total is $20 before the $4/20 you are good to go.

      • lisa

That’s what I used to do, but our stores here BOTH stated that the total had to equal the coupon amount. So if you want to use the $4/20 coupon and the $4/$20 Naturemade Q, your total has to be $40 before the coupons can be used.
Apparently, they both received emails stating this. Total bummer.

  8. ozi

Hi collin, snce u dont live b a cvs anyymore, 🙁 , do u still shop the deals?

    • Maria

I guess she can’t if she doesn’t live near a cvs.

      • Kidsallgone

Took the words right out my mouth lolol… 🙂

  9. Maria

It said this in the last page of the ad.

  10. Jane

i will be heading there later this morning! I plan on getting the colgate deal 2x, the nature made deal and the free unreal bar…probably get another Sunday paper to get over the $20! If my calculations are right, I will pay 9.74 OOP and get $10.75 back. yay for CVS!

  11. Brandy

I also got a $5 off of $15 beauty coupon which I paired with the covergirl deal! I had a pretty awesome trip to CVS today!

    • Bethany

Were you able to use the $4/off of $20 and the $5 off of $15 in the same transaction? I am excited about going to CVS tomorrow.

      • Brandy

        Yes, I ended up getting:
        2 x Colgate Max Fress 2/$5 (used 2x$0.75) = $3.50 (received $3.00 EB)= $0.50 for 2
        5 x Tissue @ $0.88 = $4.40
        2 x Dean Milk = $5.98 (received $2 EB) = $3.98
8 x Milkyway = $5 (used 4x $1/2) = $1.00 for 8 candy bars (These are buy 1 get one for $0.25 and if you buy more than 2 the price of the 1st bar is only $1 making 2 of them $1.25 and then using the $1.00 cpn they are $0.25 for 2)
1 x Nivea Trial Size Cream $0.99 (had CVS coupon for $1.00 off and my cashier didn’t adjust down)
        3 x Covergirl Eye shadows $3.99 each and 1 x Covergirl Borw Pencils $4.49 each = $16.46 (used 2 $3/2 cpns and $5 off $15 beauty products) = $5.46 (received $5.00 EB) = $0.46

        Total before Coupons: $37.83

Used $4.00 off of $20.00 CVS Cpn
Used $5 off $15 beauty purchase CVS Cpn
Used 2x $0.75/1 Colgate Max Fresh
        Used 4 x $1.00/2 Milkyway
Used $1.00/1 Nivea Lotion CVS Cpn
        Used 2x $3/2 Covergirl Cpns

Used $3.00 CVS EB from Previous Trip

Paid $13.33 + 1.70 tax = $15.03 and Received a total of $10.00 EB back. I got 20 items which averages them at $0.75 each. Plus have money for my next trip. It was a pretty awesome trip to CVS.

I love being able to stock up on this stuff. Anytime someone needs toothpaste, shaving items, shampoo, conditioner, pretty much anything that has to do with personal care and can’t afford it comes to me and I put them a package together. My aunts also LOVE the makeup and beauty gift packs I put together for them for Christmas. I just love Collin for putting the list together and then going and getting such awesome deals. I’m also fortunate to have an awesome CVS cashier. She always tells me that she needs to go shopping with me one day so she too can learn how to save so much money. She told me a few weeks ago that she is always excited to see how much I will save.

So, in Long! yes you should be able to use both. Just make sure they scan the $4.00 off $20 cpn first.

        • azh

Can you use the $5 off $15 beauty coupon and a $4 off $20 coupon if your total is just $20 of beauty items? Or does it have to total ovver $35

          • Missyliz

The total needs to be over $35.

  12. smarlatt

Mine didn’t scan will try the scanning it twice thing…as far as the vitamins the ones pictured they did not have and it says select…how do I know which ones will work…most were 11+ dollars???

    • anonymous

At my CVS I bought the 100 count flax oil softgels. I didn’t want fishoil or Vitamin D and was surprised since flaxoil was not in my ad, but they were signed as part of the deal. I paired a $2 off any Naturemade vitamin CVS coupon (from machine) with a $1 off manufacturer coupon. Paid $4.99 and got back $4 ECB. Pretty awesome!

  13. Kelsea

Are you required to scan your manufacturer’s coupons BEFORE using the $4 off $20 coupon? In other words, does your total bill have to be over $20 even after your manufacturer’s coupons have scanned?

    • Kidsallgone

      Nope 🙂

      • Kelsea

Thanks!! That’s the answer I was hoping to hear

  14. Kidsallgone

I’m just curious, are there others out there, (besides me), who arent satisfied with the total amount of their transaction from CVS unless it says $.00 or a few cents, or just tax, and then walking away with newly printed ecb’s? That’s always my goal each week. It’s like a personal challenge I give to myself. It’s a hobby & it’s fun! I think of it like some people doing crossword puzzles or sudoku, etc. It takes me sometimes an hour to prepare and maybe an hour in the store (scenarios seem to always change after I cant find some items when I get there lol).

I always leave coupons by the diapers or by other items for others to use, and I always either give my bargains to my (grown) children, or donate them.

Sorry if this isn’t the proper place to pose this question, but..really curious. PS: I’m not saying that there’s anything wrong with paying anything OOP. A bargain is a bargain & happy for any deals anyone (or myself) gets! (Sorry so lengthy)….

    • Sasha

Sounds ideal but doesn’t always pan out once you’re in the store-particularly if you get to CVS other than on Sunday morning. In my area (north of Atlanta) shelves in local stores will be swept clean.
I plan on hitting the drugstores on the way to church. I buy my papers on Sat. mornings from a hawker in the Target parking lot for $1.50 ea. so I’m prepared for the deals.
My thing is-I want to zip in, do my deals & zip out in a few short minutes. DH slows me down-I go alone so I can focus on quickly rounding up the goods.
I do try to walk out with the lowest possible OOP tho. My stockpile is quite healthy so I concentrate on items that will be MM’s, free or close to it.
For example, I didn’t “need” anything at RA this morn but I stopped in for a fast & free 18 assorted Milky Way bars. 🙂
Kroger was across the st. so I hit there for a quick buy10/get$5off deal.
Zip in, score & zip out! 🙂

      • mer

        18 candy bars????????????????

        • Brandy

I can understand the 18 candy bars. We stock up on cheap candy so when my kids cry for a candy bar at the store I can remind them that we have some at home. It saves us a ton of money and a lot of crying.

          • cdawnt

I too can understand the 18 candy bars. They go in my fridge and never go bad, we eventually eat all of them. Nothing wrong with that, in my opinion.

    • Abby

Your not alone!!!! I LOVE cvs! I like to hold on to my previous eb to pair with the following week eb… That’s how I usually get my cvs free/inexpensive there!!! But as far as grown children… My guy is 18 months so thank you for leaving diaper coupons in the store!!!! 😃

    • debra

You are not alone! I love going to CVS Sunday morning without the kids! It’s kinda my personal getaway. I am always so stoked to see how much I can get for how little. We have an extremely tight budget so this is the only way I can fill my shopping fix. Sure wish CVS would start selling clothing! lol

    • heather

You are not alone! My goal is the same- mainly because of low funds, but I also love the challenge of getting the amt. to 0 cents or as close to that as possible…and walking out with ECBs is always a plus! I also have been loving the Beauty Club where you can earn 5 ECBs when you spend $50 on any beauty item (including hair items)- you get credit before coupons, so I’ve earned without spending much at all which is quite exciting!

    • tina

you are so not alone! love, love, love cvs. I have the same goal. Hardly ever pay more than tax or a few extra pennies for my orders. In fact I never get more than a .50 cent quarterly spending reward because I never spend. With good planning you really don’t have to. But having said all that My daughters grown and we are empty nest so have time to dedicate to this hobby, just yestersay got 3 12 packs of soda, the schick razor, and the candy bar, paid .44 cents and got $7 ecb’s back or next week.

      • mel

I love CVS too! but its not realistic for me to walk out paying nothing, b/c I have a high sales tax here, charged pre-coupon. Sometimes the tax is more than my subtotal! I do try to stay under $10/wk, and if I can walk out paying a few dollars, I am over the moon! Today I spent $12 (w/tax), but retail value was over $60, so that’s a pretty decent savings.

  15. Lisa

Combined the $4/$20 coupon with the 20% off regular price coupon received via email at the end of last week, and used the $3 off Pampers box coupon from P&G. Box of Pampers diapers for $16 – about $0.14 per diaper!

  16. flytomars

what is the date on the 4 off 20 is it dated for the day it prints? TIA

    • mlosk

      the date is 7/19. HTH!

      • flytomars

        thanks

        • sherri

Is everyone’s expiration date printing out for 7/19 ????

          • Marie

The 4/$20 coupon is only good Sun-Wed. Go to CVS.com and after you find the store you shop at in your area, you can then look at that areas ad. I live in Ohio and it was printed in my ad.

  17. MCS

I got the coupon on the first scan at the coupon machine. I did the toothpaste deal, unreal candy, .89 cvs tissues, a newspaper,Revelon nailpolish (w/ $1 coupon), and some school supply deals. Make sure you use the $4 off coupon before your other coupons. Great deal, I may make my husband go with me tomorrow and use his card.

  18. Grace

I also received a $3 of $15 of beauty, and $2 off my next hair accessory purchase! I got B1G1 Goody’s hair scrunchies(4.50), B1G1 Dial body wash (6), and a Organix hair straightening treatment (10.50) (WHICH I GET $5 ECB BACK). All together I paid $12 and I got $5 ECB back! A regular value of over $30 for 7!

  19. Shelly

I did so good at CVS today! I got 4 Pepsi 12 packs/$12 (and got back $2ECB). Used my $1/1 Diet Pepsi and $1/1 Pepsi Next. Got 10 folders/$1. 2 headbands for my girls that were clearanced at $1.07 & $1.12, which I paired with my $2 off any hair accesory from the red machine. 6 bottles of AZ Iced Tea for $.50/ea (no coupon needed!). Got (6) Girl Scout Cookie candy bars at 3/$3, and used (3) .$75/2 coupons. And spent $2 on a new plate cover for my microwave. With my $4/20 coupon and my $10.50 ECB’s from Spring Spending, I spent a total of $6.77 OOP, and got back $2.00 ECB for a total of $4.77!

  20. Angela

I got 2 Axe Shampoo (2/$9), 2 Dove +Men soaps ($3.00 each), 6 Gain dish soap ($.88 each), and Men’s Hydro 5 razor ($10.99). Received the razor for free and used 2 $1.00 off 2 Gain Dish Soap, $1.00 off Gain Product, $4.00 off Hydro 5 razor, $4.00 off $20.00.. spent a little over $9! Not bad at all! 🙂

  21. whitephantom

Got $5 off $15 beauty purchase from red machine, paired that with the $5 ECB off $15 covergirl and $5 worth of coupons=allllmooost free makeup 🙂

    • whitephantom

      I spent a little over $15, but that’s cool

  22. Mariah

    Grand total $5.50!!!

    Yay!!!!!!

  23. allqdup

I don’t think anyone has asked this yet, but I want to know if this $4/$20 is going to print everyday?? If so, I am taking advantage of the Finish dish detergent deal (calculated that CVS price per gelpak is cheaper than Sam’s Club)!

    • Jennifer

It has a limit of one per customer, so it will only print once.

  24. squarejellybean

I used my $4 off 20 on 4 cereals,2 colgate toothpaste, 1 glade expressions, 4 milkyway, 1 small pkgs donuts, 1 can of pringles, 1 .75cent candy total was 26.45 minus $4 cvs cp minus 7.50 Q’s minus $5.67 EB i had = $9.28 OOp then got $5.75 in EB minus the glade 2.99 rebate making this deal .54 for all awesome I luv CVS thanks 🙂

    • Tina

Forgot to add that I also got the arm&hammer thomas spinbrush 3.89 (in central Ca) in my deal above and got the $2 EB

  25. anita

If I want to use 2 $ off cpns in one transaction my CVS explained it this way. I have 2 $4/$20 cpns. I need to buy a total of $24 of products. When they scan the first $4/$20 it brings the total down to $20. Then they scan the 2nd $4/$20 and it goes through because the total is still showing at least $20. I was always confused before but now I finally understand it.

    • mel

I thought that was how it worked too, but after talking to a DM, he said if you have multiple values of the same value open ended coupons, like 2 $4/20, you have to spend $40 to meet the requirements of Both coupons. 3 $4/20, you’d need to spend $60.
But if you have different open ended coupons, say a $4/20 any purchase and a $3/15 beauty purchase, you can use both on a $20 purchase – $15 has to be on beauty products, and an additional $5 on other items.

      • azh

Thank you! I will try this today. I have a $5 off $15 beauty, and will get a $4 off $20 at the scanner.

  26. Adriana

I ds this deal yesterday At my CVS. Free makeup! Buy 6 revlon foundations original price $13.99 on clearance 75% so 3.49 a piece.

6 $2/1 revlon face product coupon 11.94-12=.06 overage
buy one of those .33 caramels pay .27 tax for everything total oop 1.13

  27. jennifer

I went to CVS yesterday to use my $5 off a $10 vitamin purchase (it expired yesterday) and the cashier wouldn’t let me use that coupon with the $4 off a $20 purchase unless my total was $30. Is this right?
