Did you know Disney has a replacement program for scratched or broken DVD or Blu-ray Discs? If you (or your kiddos!) accidentally damage or break a Disney DVD or Blu-ray disc, you can get a replacement at a cost of $6.95 per DVD and/or at a cost of $8.95 per Blu-ray. Too bad limit of 1 per year! With a 2 yr old and 4yr old I have many scratched up “favorite” movies!!
It is actually a limit 1 per title per year. . . meaning you can only replace the same movie once per year, but you can replace more than one different movie.
hi chello! just wanted to share with you that a store in my area that buys and resells used cds/dvds/games systems/etc charges $1 to fix scratches. it might be worth it to see if you have a similar store in your area and if they have the same sort of deal. best of luck to you 🙂

Can u send in a DVD and get the same title but in blue ray?
OR, if you have a Blu-Ray or HD TV with VUDU, you can turn in your DVD to a Walmart location and have the title stored to your Cloud on your Vudu account (you have to arrange it through VUDU first, then go to Walmart second). It’s $2 for SD (fine for kids movies) and $5 for HD. Then, you have your movie on any device and you don’t have that pesky disc around anymore to get damaged. AND you don’t even have to get off the couch to turn it on!

Do.they do 3D blu ray movies? It was cheaper to buy with a coupon at best buy.
We recently took advantage of this offer and were very satisfied. We got a replacement for Tangled. It was quick and easy!
