I just was at the Hometown, PA Walmart. The Fisher Price Loving Family Grand Dollhouse with bonus patio set was marked down from $74.97 to just $37.00. Of course I grabbed it right away as I have never seen this on sale. First Christmas present off the list!

    • April

YAY!! thats such a steal! Great find.. I LOVE it when i get an awesome deal like that. 😀

    • toni

Thanks for the heads up on the dollhouse! I went to look at my walmart in Illinois and they had it for $37 also!!! I was glad I found this because I did not find anything for my little girl for xmas only my son at target. Now I got a great start on christmas stuff

    • Leslie

Thanks sooo much for letting us know about the dollhouse!! This was one item I really wanted to get for my daughter and sure enough my local walmart had it on sale!! I was very excited:)

  2. Jean

Targets in my area (Las Vegas) are still at 30-50. I didn’t see any real deals though!

    • tiffany

um. no. they are 70% off. i just went to 3. n5th, decatur and craig. try again.

      • Carolyn

What kind of toys did you find?

        • tiffany

omg what didn’t i? lol. crazy princess toys, activity, musical, lego (at 50%). it was best july clearance in years.

        • Lynn

I agree Tiffany. I picked up so many toys I don’t think I would’ve purchased at full price. I spent a little over $100 for toys that retailed over $400. Thank you Collin! 🙂

Unfortunately I haven’t been able to get out to my Target’s in Chicago. With 90+ degree weather, I’d rather stay in with the AC. Luckily I still have enough toys left over from the January clearance sales. Good luck to all that find great items on sale!

    • Rebecca

We’ve been 100+ degrees. Yesterday was 105 degrees actual temp. here in SE Iowa. I had to go to town to get some stain to finish our little deck, & I popped in to Goodwill and found all green tag clothing was $0.25 & all toys were 1/2 off! 😛 We finally got rain last night, including a big storm that knocked the power out for 4 hours 🙁 = hot night.

  4. coupongangsta

I was in there last night because my daughters bday is today and I was able to get her leapfrog stuff for 7.00 and 12.00 the actual consoles as well as some dora stuff for 4.00 and things for my son my stuff was marked 70%!!!

    • amanda

I wish I could get these online

  5. krisoftwo

There’s coupons on targets site that can be combined with clearance. Dora 20% off $7.99 or more and $5 off leap items (works for systems and games/chargers)

    • Kim

Thanks for the heads up. I printed those coupons now let’s hope I can find something.

      • krisoftwo

You’re welcome 🙂 I’m always trying to get a good deal too

    • Susie

Coupons are gone now. Just one toy coupon.

      • tina

The leapfrog coupon is under back to school. Just printed this morning. Got free Tag book. And usa interactive map for .98 awesome. Got $205 plus worth of toys for $50

        • Sarah O.

How did you get the interactive map for .98? Was it marked down to $5.98? I’ve been wanting to get one of those.

          • Tina

Yes it was the only one I found hadnt seen in awhile. Marked to 5.98 used Q got for .98. Then had a friend had one she gave went back and found the Leap frog write & scribble marked to $6.86. Got it for 1.86. Pretty awesome day. Had bought the whole batman/joker trio sets at 50% and was able to take back and repurchased at 70% used the difference and grabbed up the Imaginext Green Lantern Set, Joker Playhouse, Hero World figs. Everything thing my son has been wanting but kept telling him soon. We walked in today told him go get everything, he was skipping all over. lol

        • Brandy

Wow, share your secrets on the interactive map!

        • Clarissa

The map was on clearance at my Target for 5.98, used the $5 off cpn and got it for 0.98

  6. Jessica

I did great!! I got about $400 worth of toys for $120! Lots of great bargains….my little pony dress-up dress $5.54, my little pony matching accesories and purse $4.64, Barbie dress-up dress $6.02, fisher price kid tough camera $20.98, transformers helmet $5.98, I also got the TRIO super stunt for $10.78……. There were 5 people at the door waiting for them to unlock it at 8am!

  7. zoe

all of what i got was 70% off. i had a few things that weren’t 70% off, but they got booted for better deals, lol. i spent 84.65 before tax. my list:

lacing beads: orig 12.99, got it for 3.88

slumber friends19.99 got it for 5.98 (i got two, normally i wouldn’t have gotten them but we have a cross-country trip with two toddlers coming up!)

v tech match and explore city – reg 17.39, got it for 5.21

talking cars 2 toys – orig 9.99, got it for 2.98 (two different ones)

thomas and friends tidmouth sheds – orig 44.49 got it for 13.34

play wonder 18 in doll – orig 34.99 got it for 10.48

toy story playsets – orig 15.99, got it for 4.78 (got two different ones)

a tinkerbell giant activity pad and game – orig 10.99 got it for 3.28

and my very favorite find – the see yourself camera, orig 69.99, got it for 20.89!!

i actually found the camera much later, nearly a half hour after they opened. i was the first one there, in right as they opened, i had about 10 mins to go thru before everyone else came, then it was crowded. mine were not in a special area, they were all over the place. but the selection was better than it was last week, much more went from regular price strait to 70% off! my store was clearly marked and the associates did a great job.

original price 282.78, so i saved almost 200 bucks. not too bad!

but since target toys are so pricy!

    • Jennifer

i picked up the camera too just now, thanks for posting or I would have missed it. It’s a girly one and I have a boy, but it was all I could find and he’s too young to mind.

  8. Melissa

I actually have been snagging stuff I really wanted when it started at 30% off…if I was able to find it cheaper I would buy it again and return the first. This works for me because I go to Target at least once a week. I have found in the past if I wait to buy the stuff I really want then it isn’t there later. I have been able to snag some great deals for Christmas…I have 75% of my shopping done 🙂

  9. Janet

Does Target not have a “ship to store” option? I ordered several things online, but when I got to the shopping cart, my total was $29 and then shipping charges were $28! Yikes!

    • Melissa

Do you have a Red Card? If so then shipping is free, otherwise shipping is free with a $50 purchase. I don’t think they have free shipping to the store 🙁

      • Janet

Oh I do! I had no idea shipping was free with it – I’ll go change my payment method! Thank you!!

        • Deedee

And I think you get an extra 5% off!

  10. natalie

I was there last night ( Miami, Florida) my target was 30%. Hoping markdowns happened today!

  11. ginger

Has anyone found any 70% in the Kansas City metro yet? I checked last night and again at a different Target this am. Still 50%.

    • Renee

Independence was 70% off this morning, and going fast!

      • ginger

The Target in Mission was at 70% this afternoon! I got there at 1:30. The lady working in the department said I got there at the right time as they had just marked them down 30 minutes before. SWEET! I got a great cart of toys for Christmas and birthdays. Woohoo! The Oak Park store was NOT at 70% when we checked around 11am–maybe they did their markdown later too?

    • felicia

      State Line is 70% too!

      • ginger

Woohoo! I love getting reports from people in the field. LOL. I’m going to hopefully check Oak Park later. It may have been too early this morning when I was there.

  12. Piyamas

went this morning (Ellicott City, MD) and was still 30%.

    • Stephanie

Thanks good to know, that and Columbia are my stores, won’t bother going over just yet.

      • Jodi

One store in AACo was 70% off (Crain Hwy), but the one on Ritchie Hwy still was not really marked down. BUT – the one on Ritchie did have some toys that should’ve been marked down and just hadn’t gotten a new sticker yet (I took items to the scanner). I found things at the first Target on Crain that were still marked higher on Ritchie Hwy too, so I don’t think all stores in the same county have the same prices. Be sure to check end caps too – I found discounted Wii games and children’s books in electronics and the book department. 🙂

  13. Debbie

Went this morning and all the toy clearance is now 70% off. I was able to snatch the last Leap Frog Tag Solar System game for FREE with the Target coupon. It was marked down to $4.18 and the coupon was $5 off. Woohoo. I also found some Polly Pocket sets for $3.87, so I bought 2 and used the $5 off which ends up to be $1 each.

    • amberwaves

I grabbed that too and got it free! I bought the leapfrog map yesterday at 50% because it was the last one and used a $5 on that too so it was only $4.98. Didn’t want to take my chances on it getting grabbed before I got there.

  14. Shaniece

Ohhh so this is what they meant when they say Christmas in July. 😀 Thanks Collin!

  15. Patti

going tonight, hope I can find some good prices!!

    • melissa

Me too! I have to wait until my husband gets home, so I can go without my kids! I’m hoping I can find some good deals!

  16. Mary

Has anyone checked the Target stores in the Cleveland, OH area? Thanks!

    • Melanie

I live in Toledo and toys were marked to 70 percent off .

  17. karen

what about the target stores in chattanooga tn…

  18. krisoftwo

I went at opening time this morning, still 50%. May check again tonight because I saw a lady nearby in swim stuff using a scanner gun. My target didn’t seem in any hurry.

  19. christina

I’ve been keeping an eye on all the clearance stuff waiting for it to go down. I was there the other day and after looking through everything and scanning stuff to check the prices i found what i was waiting for, the Fisher Price kid tuff camara was buried under other stuff (the store was a mess) the last one and it was 21.xx originally 71.xx. I was so excited. Also got a few clearance stuff at Kmart a few weeks ago so Christmas shopping is almost done. Going back today to hopefully find some other cheap toys to donate at Christmas time.

    • Erin

The Kid Tuff camera is so not worth it. I’d check it out now to see if you like it/if your child plays with it, and return it if you don’t. I found it to be a big hassle with poor graphics. We gave our son a crappy digital camera we had, and he uses it way more than the Kid Tuff.

    • michelle

I got the camera too!!! This version has great reviews on amazon too!

  20. Susie

I miss having little kids to shop for!

    • amanda

you can buy for my 2 anytime 🙂 jk lol…

    • heather

      susie,
not sure what area you are in, but down south we have “angel trees” during Christmas for children who wouldnt otherwise have one! These deals could very easily be used for something similiar! That way you could snag some money saving and help out later

  21. amanda

I checked out the central mass targets starting yesterday… marlboro was 70% off starting yesterday and the leominster and worcester stores were still only 30-50% off today… hoping tomorrow for payday they are all 70% off in the area 🙂

  22. Erin

Richmond stores don’t seem to go 70 percent–everyone buys everything up right away so it doesn’t often get that low.

  23. Nicole

Here are the items I found in the Bel Air, MD store. Paid $147.49 (plus 6% sales tax) while the retail value would have been $490! I can’t imagine paying that much for toys! Just a heads up that in my store most items were still in their original spots with a few things on endcaps. I even had a Target employee tell me she was in the process of marking items to 70% which I thought was very nice of her.

  24. Karen

Wilsonville OR is at 70% off. I got $340 worth of toys for $99! Woo Hoo!

  25. Alexandra

Thank you so much! I read this post and hopped over to my Target. I got a Cookie Monster that eats cookies for $10 and a Baby Alive for $9!!!!! I came home and checked Toys R Us to see how much I saved – I saved $50!!! Thanks Hip2Save!

  26. Ana Tamariz

My friends and family think I’m crazy for shopping so early for Christmas but it saves me money and time!!! At least now I know I’m not the only one 🙂

  27. Jillian R.

In NWA, I found some of the “big kid toys” marked down, too! Imaginiff for adults, Jersey Shore Trivia, etc. I got Imaginiff for just $6 something, marked down from $20 something!! So excited!

  28. Pukimimimommy

In my targets, everything was still in their regular spots, and at the end caps. The signs mostly said 30 to 50% off, with just a few signs stating 70%. I was so excited that I was the only one there for awhile, it was nice. My son even let me shop! I even went to a different Target later, and it was still pretty full. Just some of the things we wanted were still 50% Love these sales!!!

  29. Laura

Did anyone find baby toys on clearance?? I’m pregnant and would love to get some for cheap!!

    • Karen

At my target I found a baby toy/ mirror thing for the crib for $4.98, originally $14.99… that’s the only thing though. Our target doesn’t put much on clearance

      • Laura

        Thanks Karen and Ruby!!

    • Ruby

My Target had some FP toys on clearance. They were in their original spots in the toy dept and said 15-30% off but the stickers were marked 70%. There was the FP busy ball popper elephant marked down to $5.98, a FP spikey ball (to encourage crawling) for $4.98, and B brand (that super cute bolder coloured toy line) vet clinic, doctor kit, first cars, and first cell phone/teether all marked 70% off. I’m in Central Florida.

    • Christina

Mine had some kind of electronic gym thing (didn’t really look at it) I think it was one of the things where the baby lies down and pushes the buttons, it must light up and/or play music. Can’t remember what the price was ( i spent like 45 min in the toy department looking at EVERYTHING lol) but I think it was half off.

    • jackie

Actually, i saw a baby junlge gym, and a jumper marked down to 50%, this was no where near the baby nor toy section, but rather at the back where all the bulk groceries ans school supplies are at .

  30. desi brown

this past week end i found paper jams guitars and drums for $7 and the amp speakers for $3 hoping to get back and they’ve got more marked down.

    • Clarissa

My Target had alot of those Paper Jams.

  31. Sarah

While I was there today, they were in the progress of marking a lot to 70% off. I got barbies for $4-5, Legos at half off, and my little pony sets for 70% off. I was so excited. I have so many nieces and nephews and many of them have birthdays around christmas also. I love to save money!!!

    • Erin

Watch clearance Legos at Target! Twice now I’ve purchased large, expensive sets on clearance, only to find that they were used and returned!

  32. Destinee

I went yesterday to a store in San Diego and all the stuff was still 30-50. Im gonna try a different store tonight. I was able to snag some polly pockets at 2.98×2…got them for $1 for both after $5 coupon! Also snagged the ixl learning system for $22 and games for $6ea. Im waiting for some Thomas toys to go down and im looking for the Alphie robot toy…has anyone seen him at the store? Alot of places are clearancing him out it seems. I saw all the games at Target for 2.98.

  33. CJ

Has anyone in TX seen 70% off? I went to my store in FW Tuesday night & it was still just 30%. Wondering if it’s worth another trip.

    • CourtneyAmanda

I was at the Hulen store today. I didn’t see anything 70% off. 🙁

      • Your Shopping Bug

NRH, Grapevine, & Lake Worth are mostly 70% off

    • Shauna

Arlington South & Fort Worth Cityview were 70%. Sometimes the stores that are not Super Targets do not mark down until later in the day or on Friday (Eastchase).

  34. Sarah

it is worth a trip cause my store in Louisiana was marking it down as I shopped today. Also, keep an eye out for household items on clearance. The P&G products that were marketed with the red, white and blue colors are being marked down. I got swiffer wet jet pad refills for 50% off and the swiffer dusters. Thats a super deal, better than when you use coupons on those. They were also marking down lots of laundry detergent, but only at 15% off now. Will wait til it gets a lot cheaper.

    • Ruby

If you got the Real Simple, or Home Made Simple, coupons in the mail there’s swiffer coupons that make that deal even better! I did that Tuesday and got the wet jet pads, wet jet formula, and swiffer 360 dusters for less than $5 each!

      • Sarah

My coupon booklet did not have a refill coupon, just if you bought a starter, you got a refill free. Oh well, still a great deal at 50% off. Even checked to see if because of special packaging, were they marked up to begin with or had less pads, but nope, regular 9.99 for 17 wet jet pads on the regular aisle. $4.98 for the refills. NOt to shabby when those rarely go on sale and if they do, the coupon is only like $1.

  35. Ruby

I just came back from the Target by my house (Central Florida) and the toys were marked down to 70% off, but the signs said 15-30% off and the toys were still in their original spots on the shelves so I had to look through the entire dept. I’m there 2x a week though so I’ve been watching some toys specifically! I got:

Singing Cookie Monster for $5.98 ($19.99 originally)
My Little Ponies for $2.49 (the individual smaller ones, usually $8.99)
Giant Angry Birds plush bird w/ sounds $4.98 ($19.99 originally)
Transformers Rescue Bots Interactive Fire Station for $16.49 marked down from $55! By far the biggest score!

My store was very picked over as toys that were there Tuesday are gone and the shelves are looking bare. I was watching a Super Grover for my 13 month old and they were all gone, but she loves Cookie so it all worked out. 🙂

  36. Shelly

I spent 198.81 for 639.79 retail. My favorite is a Kre-o (Hasbro’s legos) Optimus Prime transformer set. You can make a semi or the robot. Originally 59.99, and he was 17.98.

    • vivi

I got one of those for my boy too, I’m saving it for his birthday in Sept.

  37. Nataly

Did anyone happen to find any clearence in the south Texas area (San Antonio) 🙂 it’s really HOT out here and would hate to take my kids out if I didn’t have to thanks in advance

    • Tina

      Yes. T
Fm 78 kirby stuff had alot last dont know if marked down ran in before close. But San Antonio stores I went to had 30% signs but marked to 70%. Target by Dave Busters had pretty good selection and 281 Bitters. The forum I didnt think had that much or Target at Stone Oak. And if you find the Alphie cards, The cashier I had pulled and scanned sticker for $2 even though expired went thru so got for .98 Just scan I found more stuff the 2nd time I went back

  38. Tharen

Got the one thing I have been eyeing since the toys were marked down; the Toy Story Landfill down from $52.99 to $15. It has been the last one for about a week, and I managed to get it today, as the price tag had not been marked 70% yet, it had still been marked for 50%. A Target employee was tagging them, so I would imagine a lot more was marked for 50, but was ringing up at 70%. I also got the Tag Junior with the $5 off coupon and a $10 gift card from a preivous purchase for $15, and snagged one of the last Toy Story 3 books for it for $4.18. I could have waited to get it free with another coupon, but I didn’t want to risk losing it – we have a Toy Story-aholic in the house.

    • Destinee

Ahhhh…the tag Jr wasn’t on sale at mine!!! I’m gonna look around for that!! 🙂

      • Tharen

It wasn’t on sale, just coupon and gift card got it to $15. So weird, the Toy Story tag book was still$10.99 at my other Target. Glad I got it were I did! But I did snag two more Buzz toys that weren’t at my first store!

    • Melissa

What a great deal…$15 is a steal!!! I snagged the Land Fill when it was 50% off and was glad I did because at the Targets I shop at they were gone at 50%…I really wanted to get this for my son for his 3rd birthday!!!

    • sarah

I was happy to see this toy too. My four year old has wanted it forever and now she can get it for her b’day in nov.

  39. Kayla

where did you find the ones off of leap frog??

    • Clarissa

Some people say the coupon may be under the back to school section. Try there.

  40. Lonie

Still 30% in my area… some 50%… It’s been that way ALL month long!

  41. shayna

I think i got just about every squinkie toy there was lol. Plus a lalaloopsy wig and some mario remote control toy that was originally $60 and on sale for $15. I spent $80 total on an overflowing cart of toys!

  42. Jessica

My friend and I were actually the first people through the door at our Target this morning! Everything I got was 70% off. I was about to get a wooden Thomas the train set for $11! That along with the two lego sets I got for $9 were my favorite finds.

  43. Amy

I love the clearance Moon Dough. I have never tried it before, its so cool. It is like playdough, but it’s not as moist. It has a dry feeling and was a perfect mess free activity for my house full of toddlers!

    • sarah

It’s not mess free– it crumbles and can get everywhere if you are not careful. My two make a mess with the stuff, but are happy for hours with it so i just deal with the 5 mins of sweeping it up after.

      • shoppingqueen007

Yes, I agree. I’m NOT a fan of Moon Dough. It seemed fine at first, but like Sarah said, it flakes away and crumbles so easily… it gets into my carpet and we have such a hard time getting it out. I’d give it to Goodwill if someone bought more for my kids.

        • JANELL

I wouldn’t GIVE that stuff away. That stuff was on sale so I bought it last year. It actually stains things. RUN RUN RUN away from moon ANYTHING.

  44. Tara B.

Thanks, Collin! I ran over to Target(in Lawrenceville, GA) as soon as I saw this posted and was pleased to only have spent $34 on the rest of kids’ presents for Christmas! All of the kids on my list are finished! Woo hoo! Got several Cars cars, a sock monkey, two angry bird plushes, and a Timmy time plush! There are several great deals – we hit Target last month too to get our kids bought for Christmas! Good luck, y’all!

  45. JJ

Came back just a bit ago and drove up to my Target at 7:30. Saw a family with two filled to the brim carts as we pulled up and I automatically knew what they had in their cart… We drove up closer and I was right: toys! There was no separate aisle and each one had a few clearance items here and there. My youngest sister is fine with just art supplies so we weren’t really looking for her, but I found some Cars play-doh toys that were 75% off and bought two of one and one of another while my mom found a Sorry board game that was also 75% off. I remember when that specific Sorry game was introduced two years ago and another one of my sisters wanted one for Christmas. We go to Target in December since my youngest sister wants to buy it for her and there were maybe two left and they were both opened. Anyways, I knew that was a steal so my mom and I spent not even 20 dollars on four games that we will be donating to toys for tots when that time rolls around. We still have a huge bag of board games that we got for 3, 4, and 5 dollars last year or the year before that we forgot to give, so we’ve already got those new toys stashed with the old ones to remember them!

  46. Amy

Be sure to look in the games section, too. My store had the Crayola travel items all on sale. I scooped up 2 small coloring book games/crayon sets and 1 larger coloring book/crayon set. Great finds for the birthday closet or as a treat when someone is home sick.

  47. tjpmyers

I spent $68 before tax and got some barbie dolls, Cars toys, Tinkerbell doll (7.98), two princess Vtech learning wands (5.98 ish), a baby cinderella doll (7.98) and my Loopz memory game was marked 1.98. I also got the IXL fisher price learning game for $15 and an extra game for another $5 and a 7 pack of pooks for the leapfrog tag for .12 after $5 coupon 🙂 A few other odds and ends too as gift for family members.

  48. Charlotte

I got a lot of toys for birthday presents, I was a late but the left overs still had me spend over $200. 90% of what I bought was 70% off. I got two discovery kids toys for older kids that I thought were neat. The leftovers were zhu zhu jungle stuff, , my little pony, squinkies and sprites. I got a my little pony purse set with tiara and a separate my little pony (smaller side) for about $7.50 without tax. I like to combine two gifts since I have twins. I also found a cars aquadoodle set with an accessory for about $10.50. My out of pocket goal for gifts for parties for two gifts is about 12 bucks. I also got the accountability magnetic boards as well as the calendar for about 3 bucks. They were 10.99 each. I would have gladly paid that price. I went to two Targets and spent A LOT of money (for me). Thanks Collin. The stress for Xmas presents this year is super low.

OK fellow target crazies 🙂 I was able to find ONE our generation 18” doll and grabbed it up at $10.48 or so- but I have two daughters 14 months apart and my husband thinks they both need one.. did any of you pick up an extra as a gift or donation item that I can buy from you?? PLEASE?? I will pay shipping! Please let me know- we can’t afford to buy one at full price with our current medical bills…

I did my clearance shopping this afternoon – I looked and asked for you, no “our generation” dolls at our store on clearance, or even on sale. Sorry!! I hope you find one – we are in the same boat with twin boys. We certainly don’t buy doubles of everything, but those few awesome toys are a must to have two of 🙂
