These make great Christmas gifts. I got these for $35 each at Sears before Christmas last year and my mom and mother in law loved them!

I have the larger one in red and love it! Guess I will order this one too….

We have one of these and love it! Just a word of caution…it is very heavy so make sure you have a nice sturdy shelf to store it on. We usually keep our pots and pans in a pull out drawer in our island, but were afraid this was too heavy for the shelf. We have it stored in the pantry.

America’s Test Kitchen/Cooks Illustrated gives this brand excellent ratings. I am considering buying some of the 18/10 Triply saucepans…that is of course only if I can find ones that were made in the USA. I’ve been trying REALLY hard not to buy metal products from China – Tramontina is an American company, but depending on the product they make them in China, Brasil, and the US. So if you care about that, research carefully.

If you can afford it go with the Le Creuset cast iron, you won’t regret it! 🙂

Megan, no worries…it’s clear you’re intelligent since you know there are two spellings 🙂

This can go in the oven, even though it has a plastic handle?

    • Nicole Z.

Yes, it can go in the oven. I use mine in the oven all the time and have had no problems with the handle.

I have one of these for 3 years already and I absolutely love it!!! Last time they were $ 35 at Walmart I bought 2 more for my 2 close friends. They were also very excited and loved it.

I’ve got a Martha Stewart version from Macy’s for $40. I use it all the time and love how it retains the heat.
