I have a coupon for the Zebra pens-makes it a money maker!

    • Jen P

      Where is the coupon from?

  2. Ali

I used the martha stewart coupon for a spiral notebook that was already on sale, so the final cost was $1.49, pretty much all it was worth in my opinion. I read on this site that there were coupons for free Martha Stewart items, but my store had none of those.

    • Mia

Th Martha Stewart coupons are with the Avery binders in a clear plastic box. It’s for $2 off any MS item. Staples has the MS clear protector sheets for $1.90 so free. What’s good about this is that it counts towards $5 min. Yesterday I only spent $1.34 and got all the penny deals after using the coupon…

  3. Joy

Well, that’s just ridiculous the limit of 2 on the composition books. Most kids need at least 4-5 of these. Not to mention if you have multiple kids. The limit should be at least 10.

    • Danielle

I agree with you. And at the risk of being reamed for hoarding, (eye roll) I would prefer to buy like $5, then not need to worry about making that purchase like ever again. What am I going to do with a limit 2? With the amount of time it takes to locate the deals, clip the coupons, gas and time to drive to the store, locate the item and go about my day, limit 2 doesnt get it done. I won’t even mess with printable coupons for that reason. It takes too much work to do it all. It’s only worth messing with if it truly fulfills my need. Or in this case, if I’m already in the store anyway turning in my empty printer cartridges.

      Joy – they’re a business, not a charity!

    • HeathersHollanderHut

My ad says the limit is 3. I know that’s not much more, but it just show it may vary by store so check your local ad to be sure.

    • katie

you can BUY as many as you want, if you want them for 10 cents, yes there’s a limit. come back another day, the ad goes for a whole week….i work at staples and last year they let teachers get TWENTY FIVE of the penny deals, and they’d do multiple transactions and keep coming back and WIPED us out….not fair to everyone else. so yes, there’s a limit………

      • Allie

You’d feel differently about “fairness” for penny deal limits if you were a teacher. Try bringing home $36K after taxes, paying back student loans for undergraduate and master’s degrees and putting thousands a year of that money into supplies and continuing education.
I thank G-d, Staples, and the lovely Collin for every last deal I can get because I believe my little ones in my classroom deserve the best of everything. When their parents can’t give them that, I will.

  4. Delilah Phan

You mean the compositions book would only be ten cents not a penny.

  5. Nicole Taylor

It seems like Staples lost its steam. I want more penny items!

  6. Rachel

Full size notebooks not throughly impressed I get spiel bound 70 ct notebooks 17 cents each everyday no penny deals so disappointing

  7. Pattie F.

The Hammermill Paper Easy Rebate deal was available last week too. If I took advantage of deal last week, can I do it again this week? Thanks!

    • terri

yes, you can do it every week when it’s in the ad

  8. mal

any one else not get the MS coupon in the ad? its not in my ad 🙁

    • alwaysashley03

I can’t ever find them in the ad either… however, check your store, sometimes they can be found around the store.

  9. tia

zebra pen Q was out several weeks ago–most people got free pens then when staples had on sale $1, if your store takes Q’s. (many price-matched with WM) ha! and those of us to lazy (busy?) to take advantage of that deal now win!

  10. Jannell

Snagged a bunch of Purell’s @ $1 each with coupon. They are a bonus size (12 oz) so its pretty sweet 🙂
