Hey, Im new to couponig and I was wondering how does doubling a coupons work

    • Peg says:

You can use both a store coupon, like from Target.com or cvs.com, or the red machine, along with a manufactures coupon for double the savings! Not all stores allow that, but Target, CVS & Walgreens do.

    • Jen says:

What Peg said is one way to look at it. If you are asking about doubling the value of a manufacturer coupon, some store will double up to a certain amount. So for example, if you have a 50 cent coupon, it would actually take off $1 from your total. Only certain stores do this, and the amount they will double varies, so it’s best just to ask at your particular store.

Thanks if i had a laundry detergent coupon for .50 off of 1 and then i had a coupons a dollar off 2 can i use them for the same item

        • Delia says:

No. One coupon per items indicated. If you were purchasing 2 detergents then your option is either 2 .50 coupons which will each be doubled so it works out collectively to $2 or you can use the $1 off 2 detergents.

  • Janine says:

There is also a coupon on the Target website that you can combine I believe for ever more savings!

    • Elena says:

Make sure that the coupon on the Target website is a not a manufacture coupon. Target loves to mix up their Target and manufacture coupons!
