Macy’s: *HOT* Denim Promo is Back (Get $10 off a Future Purchase With Every Pair of Jeans You Buy)

12:15 PM MST
The links in the post below may be affiliate links. Read the full disclosure.

Wow! If you are in need of new jeans or your kiddos are in need of new jeans, consider heading to Macy’s for their *HOT* Denim Event. Through 9/3, for every pair of jeans you purchase, you will score a coupon valid for $10 off a future purchase of $10 or more at checkout (exclusions apply so make sure to read the fine print)! These $10 coupons are available to redeem through 9/9. Even better, browse through the clearance section where you may be able to find jeans for as low as $6.99 which will qualify you for the $10 coupon!

Check out the email I got from Hip2Save reader, Kim:

You can go to Macy’s and get some really good deals on Jeans and other items.  I was able to find some jeans on clearance for $6.99 and got a $10 coupon to use for later off a $10 purchase.  They had a ton of dresses and summer items on clearance for $1.99 and $2.99, so free with the $10 card.  Great way to stock up for next year. Talk about great savings for back to school. Tons of sales this weekend!

Plus, use the additional 15% off Savings Pass found here on your initial purchase to save even more! Keep in mind that it cannot be combined with any other coupons, so you won’t be able to use it in conjunction with the $10 off a $10 purchase coupon.

Be sure to come back to let us know about the great deals you score!

(Thanks, Kim!)

is this including kids’ jeans as well?

  • Beth says:

Awesome! I have been waiting for this to come back! I guess I know where I am going tomorrow.

  • Missy says:

Anyone know if this applies to online purchases as well?

    • Makayla says:

Online gives you the ten off automatically per jean that qualifies. This should be better, however the fine print doesn’t include the clearance. I am guessing this is going to be per case scenario at stores.

  • Madison says:

How long is this promo going on?

  • Makayla says:

This is the print on the website:
EXCLUDES: Levi?s®, Clearance and Everyday Values (EDV). For online redemption: Place qualifying jeans in shopping bag, discount automatically taken at checkout. For in-store redemption: get a $10 savings card with qualifying denim purchase. See an associate at your Macy?s store for details; store exclusions apply. The Biggest Denim Event ends September 3, 2012, unless otherwise noted.

It seems juniors and men are the best deals online. Also if you are heading to the store, there’s a $10 off $50 coupon available for 50 points at Recyclebank :D

  • Audrey says:

I’ve used this in the past on baby denim, but it looks like baby is excluded this time. They also made it a $10 minimum purchase too and that was not the case in the past.

  • Kristi says:

Thank you, we need jeans and are going to grab some of these deals today!

  • Kristi says:

Thank you for the info, going to go grab a few deal now, we need jeans!

  • Tarri says:

I did this promo before and got the 10 off q with a clearance jean purchase. I hope it works this time to.

  • alma says:

Does anyone know if I buy 4 pair of jeans, do I get 4 /$10 gift cards? I want to use the $10 off $50 Q from recyclebank as well to make a better deal.

  • ccre_21 says:

i got a really nice Levi’s dark wash boot cut jeans from $54 down to $14.99 and got the $10 coupon! sweet! :)

  • MamaTamTam says:

I picked up a pair of Levis Slim Straight jeans for my 20 month old son in this really cute black wash that were originally $36, and with 40% off, on sale for $21.99. The cashier applied the $10 coupon for me right away so the total with tax as $11.60. Great deal! They would only do one coupon per transaction so I will probably go back tomorrow and get another pair for my older son. There were tons of jeans left!

  • Mom says:

At my store you could only get one $10 per transaction. They also only allowed me to redeem 1 $10 denim coupon (with no other coupons or discounts in the transaction) per transaction.

  • Mom says:

    I bought 10 x girls denim shorts @ $5.98 each, 20% discount applied by cashier = $4.98 each, 10 transactions. Paid ~$49.99 and earned 10 x $10 denim certificates!

Made 5 purchases/5 transactions of other items each ~$11 to $20 total and used one $10 demin coupon in each transaction. Have to go back before 9/9 to use the other 5 x $10’s

    • Lauren says:

Hi, great deal you got! What size did you end up getting them in?

    • Lynn says:

My deal was similar. I bought all clearance jean shorts, some different color jean like white, purple and teal as well. I bought 16 pair in transaction of 2 at a time = $12.16 -$10 q paying $1.08 each and receiving 2 more $10 Qs!! I rolled the $10 q into 2 more pair and so on. I left with 16 pair of adorable shorts size 7&8 ( I have 2 girls in the same size) for next summer for a little over $16!! Then I went and bought 4 pair of jeans for myself, some pair as cheap as $15, got the $10 q back after using because they were jeans. Found Guess shirts/ tshirts for my husband originally $60 for $6 once the $10 q was applied. And still have $80 in Qs to spend this week! Heading to a different Macy’s to find more clearance!! Woo! Hoo!!! Remember one per transaction means ring items up separately.

  • Sun says:

I got a pair of DKNY jeans for $7.00, and got the $10 denim coupon. Purchased a set of Gold Toe socks for 9.99 + Macy’s water for 2.00. Total cash outlay $9.26 for ajeans, socks, and something to drink.

  • Christine says:

A manager at the Macys I went to today told me that “any denim purchase” does not include denim shorts. False advertising on their part.

    • kim says:

I agreed Christine, my mom and i went today found a lot of clearance denims but the cashier will not give me the $10 coupons!!!! I think it is depends on the cashier :)

  • Alicia says:

I tried to buy several items with my $10 coupons and there are so many exclusions. Limited as to what you can use it on.
