Wowie! As I mentioned in the Coupon Round-Up last night, CVS is currently having a 75% off sale on their Summer & Outdoor items. You may be able to find Outdoor Grills, Flip Flops, Garden Decor, Pool toys, Charcoal, and much more on sale! My sidekick Mary headed over to her local CVS in Austin, TX and found some great deals!

She spotted this Discovery Kids Create Your Own Lemonade Stand on sale for just $7.49 – regularly $29.99! This same Lemonade Stand is currently priced at $54.99 on Amazon (possibly a little inflated?!) so this this seems like one HOT bargain! This would even make a fun Christmas or birthday gift idea!

She also found this Lasko 20″ Box Fan on sale for just $6.25 – down from $24.99! This same fan is priced at $23.99 on Amazon and has 4 out of 5 star reviews so this seems like another awesome deal!

Be sure to browse around as there are lots of bargains worth snagging and saving for next Spring or Summer. Or if you’re doing a last minute Barbecue or planning an upcoming Fall Camping Trip, the Kingsford Charcoal, Outdoor Grills, and other items would definitely come in handy, especially at 75% off!

Also, reader Felicia found this Coleman Roadtrip Propane Grill on clearance at her store for just $24.99 – regularly $99.99! Plus, she also received a $5 Ecb after purchasing making this grill only $19.99! What a bargain! Reader Christian found lots of fun pool toys, Topsy Turvy garden items, and lots more at 75% off. Be sure to price check the items at the Magic Coupon Machine if you’re not sure if they’re discounted or if there’s not a sign showing them being on sale.

*Come back and let us know what Clearance bargains you snatch up! 😀

(Thanks, Christian, Felicia, and all you readers who emailed!)

        • Alla

I do the same thing with dh. lol… It’s called an unexpected trip for him. But he doesn’t mind coming along with me. He knows I am there for some good deals 🙂

    • Stephanie

I do the same thing! It’s funny that so many of us do this! LOL

  3. Regina

I got beach towels for $1.49! I got a Tinker Bell one for $3.75 regularly $14.99!

  4. Judy

I was able to get Pampers Little Swimmers swim diapers for $2.49!! It was spur of the moment so I didn’t have my coupons, so I am sure you could score a deal.

    • Judy

Sorry, that should have said Pampers Splashers. These were at the CVS in Mesquite, TX.

      • Sally

Wow! Do they have summer stuffs for 75% off? I shop at this CVS.

        • Judy

They had a few things left, not alot. Last summer, I scored towels and a life vest, and lots of napkins and tableware. This summer, there isn’t as much to choose from. This is the store on Pioneer at Cartwright.

    • Samantha

I got two boxes of Pampers Splashers, too! They were marked down to $2.99 at my store in SC. I had two $1/1 mfr. coupons (from the boxes of Pampers diapers that had the $30 coupon booklets) and got them for $1.99 each. Not too bad!

  5. Natalie

My cvs didn’t had anything on 75% clearence. This is in Camden, NJ. I wanted to buy the window fan and it was only 25% off making it 37.99. Any one else spotted this fan on 75% clearance? I checked earlier today the charocal in another store in Haddonfield NJ and it was 75% off, but in Camden, it was only 50% off – the same kind.

    • Heather

I went to a store in VA yesterday and their items weren’t marked 75% off yet.. but the one right up the road was. I would try going back later on this week!

  6. Delaina

My CVS no longer has a clearance section like this. 🙁 It may be a new thing all of the stores are doing soon? I am in the NW Chicago ‘burbs.

    • adri

the store I have been in dont have a “section” they just leave things where they are and place clearance stickers on them

    • roxy

Delaina, they can be found in the summer section. And since all summer items are on clearance, it should look like a clearance section. I haven’t seen a separate clearance section in my area in a while… They just keep them in the same sections as full priced items.

      • Delaina

        Thanks, guys! 🙂

  7. Anonymous

I picked up two sundresses at $2.49 each. Perfect for just around the house or as a swimsuit coverup. Also got two tank tops for $0.75 each!

  8. nicole

Awesome scores everyone ,thanks for sharing your finds. Thanks Collin.

  9. Liz

I just went to CVS, I got a topsy turvy (the hubby wanted it), a 24 can soft sided thermos cooler, and two folding quad chairs. Paid .91 cents since I had ECBS to use. 🙂 smiling the whole way home

    • Lisa W

How much was the topsy turvy? I’ve always wanted one! TIA!

      • Liz

1.30 or something like that. It was less then two dollars

  10. Stephanie

My CVS had charcoal bags for half off but at $3.50 a bag I’m thrilled!

    • Bridget

an employee told me today they are doing 75% for two weeks then shipping out to a wholesale place.. that they will not be doing 90% because they make more money selling to an after market type place.. not sure if it’s true but she seemed nice lol

  11. stacy

When is 90 percent starting next week?

  12. learningbyexample777

can someone please tell me what time CVS closes today? I would love to score some of these deals, we have a tubing on the river trip planned for tomorrow! Thank you… If it helps, I’m in FL

    • roxy

You can find out the schedule on their website. In my area, they all have different schedules. Most of them close at 10, but some close at 12. And of course, there are some open 24 hours. In my area (GA), they have normal schedule hours on Labour Day.

  13. Christy

I ran up to mine in Parrish, FL and everything is still 50% off. I will have to keep checking.

    • Kelly

      Fellow Parrish resident here! 🙂

  14. Jennifer

One store was 75%, the rest of my stores were still at 50%. And none of the chairs, tables, or super bug stuff was discounted at all *sigh*

  15. Tasha Viruet

i just got from cvs in lawton, ok and all the signs say 50% but i went ahead and price3 checked and it rings up 75% off, so i picked up the $25 grill and a cpl towels for $2.50, charcoal was not included in the sale here…i spent $33 and saved $90! 🙂

  16. Caryn F.

Well, one of my stores in Simpsonville, SC was 75% the other one was only 50% haven’t checked the other ones it was raining too bad!!! 🙁 But I got the Disney Chairs for 3.74 down from 12.99 and the Disney Balls for 49 cents!!! My kids love me haha!! Oh also got a float for my baby girl and I for 3.99!!! 🙂 Loving it!

    • Shannon

Hello Caryn, I am in Simpsonville also. 🙂 Which CVS was the 75% at? Hoping there is some stuff left by the time I get there tomorrow. LOL. Thank you neighbor. 🙂

  17. Jessica

I got a beach chair for $5, a folding lounge chair for $8 and 3 Discovery Channel Kids Ice Cream Makers for $5 each!

  18. Lisa Vitale Kelly

The sale on the box fans is not in effect in the Raleigh, NC area! In fact there were very few clearance items remaining in the 2 stores we went to. 🙁

  19. Kelly F

CVS’s in Lancaster, PA have their summer clearance 75% off! Balls $0.49, Kites $0.99, Bubbles $0.49, Stools $2.50, HUGE Igloo Cooler $8.24, Fans $5, Soft Coolers for under $4, Sandels for $1.24, Beach Toys for $2.49, Tennis Sets $2.25, Bat & Ball Set $1.24, Slip N Slide $3.25, Jump Ropes $0.49, Squirt Pumps $1.24, Baton $0.99, Nerf Gun $3.24, Beach Totes $2.49 and much more!

  20. edy

Got a big red cooler for $8.24 and a blue cooler for 6.24 and lunchboxes $4.99. Charcoal $3.24 lighter fluid $2.29. Plastic cups $1.25 sandals .75 and 1.25 sundresses 2.49 potting soil bbq pits propane 24dlrs Houston Tx- and Katy tx

  21. Kidsallgone

I asked the manager if the “tailgating” chairs were included and he said no; but then he said, “But I think they should be.” He said he was manually marking them down and that it would take a day or so to take effect. So maybe those CVS’s with 50% off signs may have to wait a day or two and check back and it might say 75%? Or…if it still says 50%, check it on the “magic red machine” and it might actually be 75% off? Just a thought!
I had previously gotten a small desk fan for $3.25 and went back today and got like 200 colored straws for $.37, a “As Seen on TV” steamer for the grill for like $3.00, a beach towel for a couple dollars, and a large insulated bag for $5. Used ECBs and paid ZIP 🙂 🙂 🙂

  22. Shayla

Sounds like a great day for all…however, my area told me that they won’t mark down fans since they are always excluded from the sales to start =( They sell them year round so that’s why they said they can’t. Boo! But will check anyway and hope they are wrong!

  23. Rachel

Like edy, I scored an Igloo blue 28-can cooler for $6.24, plus I had some extra bucks to use up from Sunday’s trip, so I only paid $3.24 out of pocket. I spotted it Sunday at 50% but resisted and am glad I did. I actually needed this = it’s the perfect in=between size for long car trips, picnics or days at the beach.

They has one bigger red cooler left, several blue ones, a whole stack of the $24.99 Coleman road trip grills, plus many more items. Thanks for the heads up, Colin!

  24. kat

In the garden center I was able to snag some Crayola “my first garden” for $1.25 and $.99. They weren’t marked but they rang up 75%. Thanks Collin! DH and I were able to get some prizes for our daughter’s bday. Also, bags of charcoal were $1.75!

  25. Rose

I was able to get Transformers for $2 each-down from $8. I also got some pretty nice water bottles and magnetic fishing pole games. Jars that have the automatic money counter on top were marked down to $2.50. I wish they had some soft side coolers left because I put ours through the washing machine and it didn’t make it.

  26. Wendy d

Oh My, thanks for this post! I read it at 8:30 pm eastern. Looked on-line for the store hours, jumped into my clothes and ran to the car. Went to 3 stores and got 24 small bags of charcoal for $1.75 and $1.99 and was home by 9:30 pm. One manager was delighted to get rid of it and wheeled 6 bags to my car. I had a clerk call another store and she asked if they had any charcoal and they said no. HA! I suspected the clerk on the phone was lying and he was! That store had lots and I left some.

    • shanshan

HAHA Wendy that’s so funny! Especially the lying part.

  27. shannon

ours is only 50% but i hope they go to 75% soon!

  28. Sunny

My cvs told me that things won’t go less than 75% off anymore, rather they’ll just get shipped back to the warehouse or wherever. Check with your local cvs before waiting for 90% off as you may miss out!

    • stacy

      Thanks!!

  29. jenny

Anyone check any near Lehigh Valley, PA ? I only have 1 close cvs to me, but for clearance I’m willing to drive a little extra 🙂

  30. Maria S

I live in the San Diego area…anyone gone to cvs yet to see if they have these deals?

    • JD

The one in La Jolla in the La Jolla Village Square has things at 75% off. They had 3 of the huge coolers left when I went this afternoon, and a bunch of the smaller blue coolers. There are a LOT of toys and stuff for the beach on clearance at that location. They also had smaller fans on clearance.
In Mira Mesa, the store on Mira Mesa Blvd/Camino Ruiz is at 50% off. There weren’t many signs up. I just came back from the store & they had some gazebos left, and a LOT of beach chairs. The store on Westview Pkwy is also at 50% off, but there’s not much there unless you’re interested in matchlite charcoal and beach chairs.
      HTH.

  31. Lauren

I got the box fan for $6.25! I’ve been wanting to get one for the gym at my apartment complex, but didn’t want to spend a lot. There is always a possibility that someone will take it home with them. At $6.25, it was worth the risk.

  32. zelene

woo hoo mine was 75% to 90% …charcoal 1.50 ..glasses 1.00… crayola travel wonder metal .78…tables 5.00 ..chairs 3.00..also found piggy banks w/electronic counter for 2.50 thank you Collin…

  33. edy

Telephone rd cvs- Houston has a lot of sandals toys(water) and swimming pools some lunchables some garden tables 5 bbq pits some beach bags. Crayola chalk / coolers gone/ charcoal 1.99 bags gone/ there is plenty of items left

  34. Jennifer

I just went to my local CVS and got a basket of sand toys for $3.75. My CVS is so weird though. They had their fans and other stuff at 25% off and then other stuff at 50% off and then a few things at 75% off. I noticed that before when you talk about finding great deals that my CVS is kind of pick and choose what they want.

  35. Paula

I stopped by this morn and found a few goodies. Although most of what I got wasn’t coming up 75% off the cashier was still honoring it.

  36. Starbucks fan

Wow! Finally replenished my toy closet! Mr and Mrs Potato Heads 2.49, kites for .99, magnetic fishing games 1.49, nets of sand toys 2.49, 6 pack bubbles .99, piggy bank that counts money 2.49, foam cooler 1.49, sunblock with 2014 expiration date 75% off, kick ball 1.75, plus much more. Target’s July toy clearance was a bust this year so I was so happy to find these deals. Thanks hip 2 save!!

  37. Heather

I ran into the sale before you guys posted on here when we were on vacation in Williamsburg (which btw we were able to afford because we had $$ leftover in our budget because of all the couponing/deal following I do on here – thank you!!!).. Got a huge igloo cooler for $6.25 which I am using to make a ‘Hurricane kit’ … I’ll coupon until I fill it up with the necessary items! I saw this post so hit the CVS here in town and got the proprane grill (No $5 EB though, the cashier said you don’t get EB on clearance items). I even got the charcoal grill with charcoal, lighter fluid & a kabob set for $9 total… then added a bunch of picnic supplies to it. I thought it’d be great for a picnic or camping trip! Got a tote FULL of random kid toys, beach toys, bubbles, water guns, crayola chaulk sets, water balloon sets, sprinkler, slip n slide, 3 nice pairs of mens shoes, and other misc. items for $27 total! What a great deal on all of this! Can’t wait to pull it all out for next year… we’ll be all set!!!

  38. AP

Okay I couldn’t resist the opportunity for deals so I stopped at our Nor Cal CVS on my route home for work. 5pm wasnt’ the best time to shop when none of the items I picked, which were stickered at 75% off, actually rang up as such. Ended up showing the cashier and she adjusted the price, of course this is after some annoyed glances from people waiting in line. Oh well. Got a great wooden roll up table for $7.50 and a pair of shoes for my 2 year old for $2. Not too shabby!

  39. Gretch

Ours is still ringing up at 50% each in boca raton, fl. I wonder if i should wait for 75% off to cOme up!

    • Ruthie

It is only 50% in Lakeland, Fl

  40. Courtney

I was stuck at CVS waiting on my little ones perscription last night. Ok, I was actually thrilled to have a great excuse to shop at CVS for over an hour. I stocked up on birthday gifts for kids. They had Crayola 3D chalk sets for $2.62. There were other great items like lunch kits, bubbles and fans. My husband was yet again thrilled to see my savings at CVS. Thank Collin for the heads up.

  41. edy

Cvs on broadway st and bellfort Houston,tx has bbq pits. Lots of toys, fans, piggy banks, shoes, beach bags 75% off and cvs telephone rd has lots of toys!! And sandals, chalks

  42. Kate

Thanks so much for the heads up, I went on Tuesday and they were just marking down items. Purchased two fans with stands, 3 thermal cups with straws, 2 pack of propane for our camping grill, and 2 camp chairs. Spent $20 buck with tax. Yahoo.

  43. Asenath

I just stopped in to a CVS in Iowa today and was looking at the lemonade stand. The manager walked by and said that it was even cheaper than the 75% off price. He scanned it, and it ran up at 90% off.. 2.99!. I bought it on the spot, then started looking around and scanning. A huge amount of summer items was 90% off…they hadn’t been marked yet. We live out of town, so most of these deals I just miss, but clearly I was in the right store at the right time. Beach balls, Crayola chalk, floaties, pool noodles, a mini grill and picnic items, charcoal, goggles, sunglasses (we are going to Disney in January, so I stocked up items for kids at the pool.)
There was tons of stuff on the shelves when I left, but like I said, it hadn’t been marked yet, and the manager was working on it. While I was there, I watched an employee pull an entire box of pool noodles towards the back. The manager said she was buying them, so clearly I got there at just the right time.
It was nearly $300 worth of stuff that I paid $25 for!
I did check out another CVS in town, and their stuff was still just 75% off. He said it is up to the discression the manager of the store when they clearance stuff out, but it isn’t supposed to go on clearance until next week. He gave me 90% off the stuff I picked out at his store as well which I thought was really nice of him. He had a slip and slide, sand toys, and charcoal lighter fluid that the other store didn’t have.
