It’s funny how you get use to certain things helping to lull you to sleep.
I have 2 sisters that cannot fall asleep without a fan running-drowns out other sounds for them. They will even pack a small portable one with their checked luggage when traveling.We all met 2 wks ago in St. Pete and lo and behold-there were the fans in both their suitcases. I guess whatever works. 🙂

In the summer I sleep with a fan in the window, and when it’s too cold I just have it set up in the room. I bought one of these a while ago to try and get the noise without the breeze and ended up returning it. Even on high and set adjacent to the bed this was so quiet, it didn’t drown out anything. If it were louder it probably would have been a nice unit, as is I just found it to be extremely annoying, like a buzzing mosquito.

Right…it’s usually 2% when I go through them but it’s supposed to be 10% but when I click “shop now”, It brings up a pop-up for the app and never takes me to the target website bc I say no thanks for the app…. :/

I bought my first one at a yard sale maybe 20 years ago and still have it! It’s a constant, calming “noise” and there is nothing else like it! It is worth every last cent and more–I have purchased these for my kids–I thought the only other place that had them was Hammacher Schlemmer and I gladly paid full price–my kids are now grown and they still have them! I’m a NYC kid and when I got married and moved to the country I needed noise to sleep LOL!

Got it on Target! yey! Can’t believe this deal came around! I was going to buy one for my baby who is due in December and this is awesome to save on it! We have one in our bedroom and I’ve had one in my 2 year old daughter’ room since she was born and I think it’s totally helped make her an awesome night time sleeper. So this will be our 3rd one now for our expected baby boy! Love saving $15!
We have slept with one of these for years because my husband was sleepwalking and talking increasingly. It helps him get into deep sleep and although he sometimes talks in his sleep still, it is WAY less frequent and the sound machine drowns it out. 🙂 Then we had a baby. When we finally moved her to her own room, she couldn’t sleep through the night anymore without it! So we had to buy her one for her room. Worth every penny and travels well too. 🙂
