    to that recipe I also add a can of green chiles, a can of olives (I slice them up and dump in the juice as well), a can of tomato soup, a can of black beans, a can of kidney beans, 1-2 tsp beef flavored better than boullion and top with sour cream and cheese and eat with tortilla chips. Taco soup is a huge favorite at our house! Also, I don’t usually have a lot of ground beef around because my husband is a hunter and we have a freezer full of ground moose or elk. My kids gobble it down!

      If the batch of soup is big, I add another 1/2 of a taco seasoning packet. You can also substitute a can of undrained corn as well.

    Here is my recipe for Taco Soup:
    1 pd ground beef- cooked
    1 can kidney beans – strained and rinsed
    1 can black beans -strained and rinsed
    1 can pinto beans strained and rinsed
    1 can sweetened corn
    1 can petite diced tomatoes
    1 can rotel tomatoes
    1 package ranch seasoning
    1 package of taco seasoning
    1 cup water

    I usually eat it with shredded cheese and tortilla chips of some kind.
