This is the best thing ever. It’s great for dieting and also for making more decadent desserts. It’s so simple to use, you can create your own recipes. The pops are fun for the kids. I eat yonana almost every day. I love it for a very healthy and delicious breakfast. It’s better and easier than making a smoothie. Sometimes I add plain greek yogurt to the chute to make a more creamy, frozen yogurt style custard. If I want something decadent, I add vanilla pudding. For an adult sorbet, I add Cointreau or other liqueur. You can also add peanut butter, chocolate, nuts, dried fruit, etc. You can mix stuff in after it’s done or add extras while it’s running. The possibilities are endless.

Also, on another note, check out this email I just received from Hip2Save reader, Rebecca, who snagged some great deals at her local Sears store today:

I just got back from Sears (my store is located in western PA), and shopped their summer clearaway, and scored HUGE!  I got my daughter (size 4t) clothes for next summer.  The total retail value was $336, and I spent $62!!!!  That’s a savings of $274!  In total, I got: 3 sets of PJs, 10 shirts, 2 capris, 1 skirt, 5 shorts and 2 dresses. One set of PJs had two shirts and two shorts – it was on sale for $4.99, and then I had a coupon (they were displayed all around the store) for 15% off.  Everything that I bought was either $2.99 or $4.99, and the 15% off was good for everything! I love bargains!

funny, I was *just* telling my dh about the yonanas last night and was thinking about ordering from Amazon! The machine was mentioned in one of the mags (free of course!) I was recently reading and it seems like a cool machine!

I won one from a Dr. Oz giveaway awhile back, it’s pretty cool. My kids LOVE ‘banana ice cream’ even though one of them doesn’t care for bananas.

the idea of yonanas sounds great and i ve bought that thing …
well I tell You …its not for me ………
In a good blender or just in a food processor You can make sorbets much easier then in that thing ….use softer material add to it what do You like and You ve the same thing … and put in a freezer …

its another gadget which is going to sit on a shelf ….
unless You love being in a kitchen ,cooking etc …..and have all kinds of things…
its cheaply made ….sounds like its about 2 brake any second..
I was so happy to sell it on Ebay back …….
at least buy it with return option and see for yourself if its for You

That’s what my hubby was saying.. it’ll just be another machine on (or under) the counter taking up space. He bought me a really nice Cuisinart blender and it has a smoothie option, but haven’t had a chance to try it out yet since I mainly use the low setting for homemade salad dressing and whipping pancake batter. As cool as yonanas sound, I think I will pass!

if anyone is going to buy this though, use FALLHOMESALE for an additional 10% off!

Thanks for the code, it worked, but by the time I checked out they were out of stock.

  6. Heather

I love mine! (I, too won it from Dr. Oz.) My favorite: put some raspberries and chopped dark chocolate through with the bananas- yummmm!

    • Rachel

I have even mixed in walnuts with mine, I just mix them in afterwards!

We use ours all the time–christmas gift from last year–honestly, I like the fact that I never, ever throw out any fruit any more. As soon as anything looks like it might go bad, I toss it into the freezer–raspberry, strawberries, mango, bananas–my kids will eat almost any fruit I put it in!

I got my Yonanas as a Christmas present from my husband and I loved it! On a different topic, I went to Sears too and some of the activewear had 90% off plus the 15% off from their flyer PLUS the points you get from using shop your rewards card! 🙂

Item was out of stock for delivery or in store pick up when I checked it at 8 PM. 🙁 Hope they get them back in stock soon for that price!

  11. koko

I don’t have this item, but I will look into it because my sister in law has this $400 blender that she uses to make the banana “ice cream” with, and that stuff tastes fantastic.

  12. Mila

I was able to purchase this last night for delivery at this price just in case anybody is still interested 🙂

For those of you who aren’t crazy about bananas you need to know that you don’t even taste the banana. It acts as an aid to mix & sweeten it. You don’t have to use the bananas. I put frozen grapes in it without because they are sweet enough. I got this for Christmas and just tried it a week ago and “BAM” I am officially addicted. I have diabetes and over weight and this a safe & healthy way of satisfying my sweet tooth. You have got to open it and give it a try.

I bought bit at a ridiculous price $19.99 and ever since I first used it I fell in love with it. I’m recommending it to all my friends.
