    Hi Collin!

I don’t wear makeup, but my younger sister has started to wear mascara. Consequently, for the first time ever (since that great 6 off 2 covergirl coupon from months ago), I’m saving makeup coupons. Target supposedly had a sale on the Maybelline mascara, but even that price wasn’t too great so I held off on using those 1 off coupons. Do you or anyone else have some tips on getting makeup cheap? Like I said, not really an expert in the makeup department (literally!), so I’d really love the help!

    Thanks!!

    • Tilla Ham

walgreens and rite aid tend to have the best make up deals…and they come and go. it has been over a year since I did an amazing make up deal at walgreens so maybe they will have another one soon. depending on how young your sister is she may not mind the cheaper brands like elf and cover girl…i’m not a fan of them

      • Maria

My favorite brand is Physicians Formula mascara. They had a sale this past week for buy $10 worth get back a $7 ECB at cvs (The mascara was $9.99, so you had to simply buy that.) I try to stock up when they have those sales. Rite Aid also frequently has Physicians formula sales.

        • Laura

Is this sale already over? I love Physicians Formula!

          • allieunveiled

This deal is now over but it will be back the week of 9/30-10/6.

            • Laura

              Awesome! Thanks so much!

    • jeanette

i usually wait for when cvs puts their makeup on clearance for 75% off you can get some great deals especially with coupons..they usually do this two times a year around january and june…..also if you have an ulta nearby you can get great deals on the ulta brand makeup, they sometimes have them buy one get one free and there’s usually a $3.50/$10 purchase on their website…i would say to always check the clearance sections at cvs, walgreens, or riteaid since sometimes you can find very cheap makeup…also target usually has makeup on clearance as well…hth

Reference to TOMS NATURALLY DRY DEODORANT smells TERRIBLE. I put it on and i smell like BO it makes me literally stink. Keeps me fairly dry but can’t get past the smell…

    • J

      ** anti-perspirant no deodorant

      • J

*not …wow my phone is getting the best of me tonight lol

    • Cindy

lol antiperspirant is meant to only control moisture, not odor. If you want to control odor, go for one that’s a deodorant (…or one that has both deodorant and antiperspirant if you sweat a lot). πŸ™‚

    • ohjodi

The “naturally dry” really works, but I don’t care for the pasty smell, so I layer on a regular Tom’s of Maine lemongrass with it πŸ™‚ The “naturally dry” has 20% aluminum which is higher than even Secret Clinical, so it really works.

      • J

Yes that is exactly what I mean I don’t smell the smell of the anti perspirant smells weird…I thought I was the only on that thought it smelled..

  3. Phyllis

The .75/1 Tyson Grilled & Ready frozen chicken Q can be stacked with the $1 Publix Q from the Make Your Home Italian Tonight coupon sheet.

  4. Eric Day

Where’s the PG insert for this month? I don’t know about you ladies, but this guy loves that insert…. I’ve used it probably 10-15 times the last few weeks for deals on here.

    • Makayla

      It comes on 9/30 πŸ˜€

  5. Dino

We need more grocery coupons πŸ™

  6. Tina

Does the Barilla coupon say box of pasta OR sauce or does it say box of pasta AND sauce? Mine says AND.

    • Jennifer

I get the Washington Post and it says “AND” not “OR.” :/

      • Annie1025MW

Ditto…Here in Colorado the Barilla coupon says ‘AND’ not ‘OR’…Bummer! Would have made a great deal for some FREE pasta! πŸ™

  7. Laney

I didn’t get the game coupons..or I can’t find them lol. The baltimore sun and the pittsburgh post.

  8. Dani

    Collin or My HipSister’s,
How do you all keep “Track” of coupons expiring in a binder? I have a binder (thanks to collin for showing me how to start one) but I’m having trouble keeping track of all the coupons without going crazy! Please give me some pointers πŸ™‚

Also, is there anyone in Owasso, Ok that is looking to Parnter with another Couponer? I am basically just starting out. I would like to meet someone who has been “Stacking” or just getting INSANE DEALS to shop with. I’m willing to share “Coupons” I really just want to get so good at COUPONING that i can help “Shelters, My Parent’s & me” get ahead and save MONEY!

    • Tarri

Here is how I do it, I have each department in sections, so Laundry, Pet, etc. If I have more than one coupon of an item, I put the closest exp one on top, so I keep them in exp date order. When the beginning of month has come I can flip through each section and pull out the exp ones. HTH

      • Emily

I agree w/Tarri, every week I sit down to put away my insert coupons and whatever printables I haven’t used yet and as I put them away I pull out whatever is expired. HTH (Also I get really sad when they’re expired lol)

  9. nicole

Thanks for the info on the covergirl qs.

  10. Laurel Carter

I just wanted to say thank you so much, for your coupon database. I was able to find the coupon for Bailey’s Coffee Creamer The database let me know what insert to find it in. I already knew I had them but I was clueless where. It saved me a lot of aggravation. Anyone who is not familiar with it should really check it out………… Publix has a $1 Q to stack with my $1 MFR= creamer for.19 I was so happy that I just had to do a little coupon dance. Thanks again for all your hard work! It truly is appreciated πŸ™‚

    • Georgina

Yes, I agree! I am finally learning the “tricks” of couponing. For example, it drove me nuts that I could not figure out where coupons were until I discovered the dates (in very fine print!) on the outside of the mailers. And, I use the coupon database all the time. I can go exactly to the needed coupon without having to flip through all my inserts — since I have not gotten the hang of using a binder. Thank you soooooo soooooo soooooo soooo much for all of your hard work Collin and Friends!

  11. fashionablysaving

Hey Collin! Thanks for the list! I get the Washington Post, and it really helps me determine how many papers to buy. In my Washington Post, the Barilla coupon is for $1 off wyb Pasta AND Sauce. I thought you’d like to have a heads up about that.

Keep up the great work! I love your site!

  12. Vanessa Hudson

I live in Pittsburgh..no coupons this week…cant figure out why!

  13. Vanessa Hudson

oops..i did buy a paper…went from 1.50 to $2! there are coupons…just didnt get them in my weekly mail for some reason.
