I bought a pair of these two years ago and still wear them, great boots!

  2. Eve

Are these good for a really snowy winter. Think Minnesota.

    • Susanne

Eve, no these boots are not snow-worthy ~ more like a warm, cozy boot for cold, “snow-less” days, kicking through the leaves or running errands. They are delightfully comfortable and cozy if you can use a pair!!

    • melissa

i wore them thru 2 chicago winters now. i recommend spraying them with scotch gaurd if you want them to last

Where are the slippers? Couldn’t find them 🙁

    • Elise

I only saw a pair for kids.

    • Bridget

I did a search on slippers, sales not as good, as far as I can see.

Do they run true to size? Or should I size up b/c of the shearling?

    • kendall

Definitely order a size up! I wear size 9 normally but had to send these back last year for a size 10! Also, I live in Michigan and these boots are plenty warm! I lived in the UP for 3 years and these were perfect!

I bought a pair of Emus almost 2 years ago and found that i should have actually gone a size down. I would assume the same for these.

I had some brown taller ones that I got for $20 on super clearance at a local shoe store, and although they are very warm (like Iowa winter warm) they were just to big and clunky for me. I ended up selling them for what I bought them for and was sad to get rid of them, but they were just too heavy and big.

This is off topic but has anyone heard about a coach purse rebate? My grandma heard something on the news about a rebate on certain coach purses that were bought in a certain year. Not sure what its about and couldn’t find anything about it when I googled it.

    • Cat

How about searching with the keyword “recall”, not “rebate”?

    • Chrissy

      Found the following:
Any customer who bought a Coach item between February 15, 2010 and February 29, 2012 with a credit or debit card and gave coach an email or mailing address will now be eligible for a 30 percent off coupon.

I was just looking at all the Bearpaws on display at Fred Meyer yesterday for 79.99…and remembering when I got a pair that you posted about last year for $30-something…now I will get another pair
Thanks Colin for all you do!

Have you seen BEARPAW Women’s Meadow Boot size 7 in Birch color?
    It says $5,009.99! lol

Ok I have a question – I ordered Mukluk boots like this a year ago, and the fabric down the back of the heels just collapse when I wear them. They become very uncomfortable to wear, because I end up walking on the material that has bunched up under my heels! Is this just a badly made pair, or is this typical of the boot? I certainly couldn’t go down or up a size, they wouldn’t fit at all.

  12. Angie

Yay i just bought a pair for me and my toddler total was $65.00. I had $55.00 amazon credit i earned from synovate doing surveys so just spent $10 oop. Hope this boots are as comfy as my uggs
