Home Depot: Earn $5, $10, and $15 Coupons For the Lawn and Garden Department (Facebook)
NOTE: Before going into details on this offer, I just want to first mention that this game will take quite a bit of your time in order to snag the high value coupons (as much as an hour or so!), so keep that in mind before playing…
For a limited time, you can head on over to the Home Depot Facebook page and click on the Zombie Mulch tab to play a game in which you can earn coupons for $5 off a $5.01 purchase, $10 off a $10.01 purchase, and $15 off a $15.01 purchase from the Home Depot Lawn and Garden Department (valid thru 12/31/12)! To snag the coupons, you will need to hit zombies with the truck (use the arrows to move it up and down) and make them into mulch. If you make enough, you will receive the coupons. I personally did not have enough patience to actually snag a coupon, but I hope that some of you do! Good luck! 🙂

FYI i got all three coupons, but in the middle of it i sawsomething that said “want to double your mulch?” when you click on it you can either sign up for the garden club or enter youremail you already have linked to the garden club, Wish i had known this when i first started because it went much faster when i was earning 6 for every zombie then hit the 2x and earn 12 for every zombie.
me too! after i played and redeemed by $5 and $10, i went back to playing the game and I was earning twice the points. must be because it then recognized i was a garden club member. took me about 40 minutes, but i got all 3! perfect for the bulbs I need to buy tonight, and for pine tops in November!
I finally got to 5,000 and click to redeem and my stats say that I only have 2,000! Fusterating!
this happened to me once too, when the pop up comes in the middle of the game and says “you’ve earnedblahblah blach coupon, redeem now?” DONT click that click keep playing and then crash into stuff until you get a game over then go to the stats page to get your coupons.
I played to 5,000 earned all 3 coupons, and when I went to stats to redeem them, it says I only have 696 ft3. It took me all day off and on to get enough zombies. I’m so sad.
I posted a comment on the Home Depot Facebook page about what happened, and 3 hours later they posted that they had verified my status and reset my Stats page- all of my coupons were there! What great Facebook customer service!

Oh my, this is horrible! I have to make 1000ft to get a $5? I suckkkk!! I have played 10 times and only have 24 feet. I am horrible at video games but I want a coupon 🙂
anyone know what this coupon will work for? it says lawn and garden, but am curious what all that entails.
Only on items in the lawn and garden department ie rakes, shovels, plants I tried to use it on light bulbs and it wouldn’t apply AT ALL. I’m going to try it on Christmas decor since that’s in the lawn and garden section.

I’m not getting it to load. All I get is a black screen. I’ve waited for about 5 min. or so to load and nothing
so i played for about an hr and got to the $10 coupon and printed that. i didnt do anythin when it said i had made it to the $5 coupon are you girls saying you printed the $5 coupon then continued to play and printed the $10 one also?
I went all the way up and got the fifteen then it still let me print the 10 and 5
it should be in your email. Go to your stats page and scroll down. You should see the other ones there. Click redeem on each one and it gets emailed to you. hth
On another note, I plan on saving mine for after Christmas sales. Lawn and garden has all the Christmas stuff and my kids have wanted some of those light up lawn ornaments for years. Could never afford them so maybe I will get lucky this year. I know I can score some ornaments at least.
Got all my coupons! It did take a while. Towards the end, I was thinking “Take that!!” everytime I got a zombie, hoping it would be the last one.
I redeemed the first one but haven’t received anything? help?
It took me a couple of hours but I played the game to get all of the coupons for both my mom’s facebook and mine. We took the coupons to Home Depot and walked away with $70 worth of plants for $10. Awesome!
Can you use all of the coupons in one transaction or did you have to split it all up?

Same thing happened to me… got to 5000 points, then went to redeem and it showed a little over 1000. 🙁
I had the exact same thing happen! I sent them an email. There is noooo way I played for that long for $5.
it is such a gross game but i did it till $15!! i hope i can score some goodies for cheap with it!

Does anybody know if Lowe’s will take these Q’s. They always take coupons for specific items from Home Depot (last one i remember was the roses B1G1 Q).
Once I got the hang of the game it went fairly quickly. Then I made my husband play it on his account too. We will make good use of these coupons!

Got all three coupons, I noticed it says not valid if opened more than three times, does that mean you can print them out twice?Not going to try it, was just wondering
Used one coupon for 10 dollars off a 150 count kitchen size tear resistant trash bags for 10.97.Paid .97 plus tax.Not bad considering we pay over 7 dollars for around 30 trash bags at wal mart.Wont have to buy trash bags for a while(so excited!)
I went there today and used four of my coupons. I had 3 from my fb account and 3 from my husbands. The cashier broke it up into four different transactions because she said she couldn’t use all the coupons in one. Great deal. I spent under $3.50 for $40 worth of items!
Is it on one item? Or per transaction? So it can be multiple items equally 15 dollars?
I used one coupon per item. I bought a broom that was $5.48 and used the $5 coupon in one transaction. A bird feeder that was $15.98 and used the $15 coupon in another transaction and so on. I am pretty sure it is just one item, but it is worth trying it on more than one item. Ya never know. I just tried to find items that I could use that were as close to the coupon amount as possible.
It is per transaction, I just went and got 2 items that totaled a little over $15 and used the $15 coupon and it went through just fine. Same with the $10 and $5 coupons.

I was able to get 5 Medium Sized pumpkins 🙂 they were around 18lbs each for 5.98!! Wouldn’t have been able to afford to carve this year without those… Thank you Collin
I grabbed six small pansies for my kids to plant with the $5 coupon, and two beautiful purple mums for my backyard with the $10 coupon! I just planted 35 double daffodil bulbs, and am trying to finish mulching zombies so I can use the $15 coupon to cover the spots I dug up with new mulch, and maybe grab a pumpkin 🙂 Thank you Home Depot, and thanks Collin for telling us about the awesome coupons!!!
I earned all three coupons and redeemed them but only toe $10 and $5 came to my e-mail. Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can do?
I went to home depot today and the cleaning section in our store was considered garden. I bought toilet paper, laundry detergent, etc and used the coupons. Plus keep in mind that they take manufacture coupons as well 🙂

You have to go to the zombie mulch home page and select stats and you can redeem from there HTH
I asked the service desk today while I was looking around, what is all considered lawn and garden. They said anything that was from paint back to the lawn in garden area. In my store..this included…Christmas items, cleaning supplies (laundry too), grills and such. I got a 100 ft hose that was marked down to $8 and a hose attachement for 7.97. I paid $1.04 after tax. I LOVE THIS GAME!!

I have a total of two of each*from two accounts* coupon for a total of $60 that i am willing to trade for a $30 victorias secret giftcard if anyone has one
the coupon states it has to be redeemed by the person that it was awarded to. Not sure if you can trade with these.
I LOVED this! I got a Huge Double Roll 8 each of Bounty paper towels for $17.98 used my $15 cpn and paid $3, Then bought a garden shovel for 10.98 and used my $10 cpn and paid .98, and last bought a pretty hanging basket with a cocoa liner on sale for $6 and used my $5 cpn and paid $1.00! Wow… What a deal…. Thanks for posting this! The game went pretty easy for me .. I used IE and it took me around 45 minutes to earn all 3 coupons…
I’m a huge fan of this game too 🙂 I used my coupons (3 separate transactions) to get $12.98 7th Generation laundry soap, $4.98 biodegradable doggie poop bags, carpet stain cleaner, hand sanitizer, TP, etc. Pretty dang cool! And seasonal is covered in lawn and garden (i.e. Halloween and Xmas items) so that is neat.
Also, TIP: You can do self check out with these coupons, as my husband discovered! He just scanned his $15+ item, then immediately (without hitting any buttons on the checkout screen) scanned his coupon. Worked like a charm. The self checkout then gave him the prompt: “Please put your coupon in coupon dispenser” where the light flashed to show him where to put it. Talk about easy peasy!
In my book, getting $30 worth of free stuff for 40-60 mins of my time is worth it for this job hunting mama 🙂
I love this game & am addicted!! I don’t normally play games, but this one has got me and I got the $15 coupon finally. What fun it has been!!!
