  How do you know? I have olive toned skin and light/medium is perfect for my skin. I bought it a few months ago and its a favorite of mine when I dont want to wear a lot of makeup. BB cream is not a thick foundation, its a light tinted moisturizer that just evens out the skin time.

  I won’t be able to use this sample either.. cause I am as white as snow! I won’t waste a sample because I know the most important thing to me is a color not being too dark/orange for my skin so if the sample is already light/medium I know it will be wayy too dark/orange. I use “alabaster” as a typical powder shade. and that is how *I* know.

   Thank you! I wanted to see how this compared to Garnier BB before I bought one! Any thoughts, ladies? I have light/medium complexion, mild acne, large pores and have oily skin. Thanks in advance for any input! =D i love an honest review/opinion!

  I have tried samples of both… I have very pale combination skin with cool undertones. I thought both were more like tinted moisturizers than true BB creams, but in my opinion the Maybelline one was better. The Garnier one was a bit yellow for my skin tone and I also found the consistency to be a bit greasier than I like. The Maybelline one was a better match for my skin, and I also found the overall texture to be a bit more “flawless”. Since they are more like tinted moisturizers the coverage is light. I don’t know how oily your skin is, but I think there are better BB creams out there for very oily skin (like Boscia, or some of the Asian brands like Lioele) but unfortunately many of them are more expensive. Everybody’s skin is different though so maybe it’ll be perfect for you!

    i really like this bb cream,i get so many samples and i didnt know what it was,so when i was putting it on i thought it was some sort of moisturizer because it was white lol i hardly wear makeup so i was like oh! but the bb stuff is really cool,i use it the little time i wear makeup its really light feeling

    I love this product. I bought it last week when CVS had deal where you get $3 ECB when you buy any Maybelline purchase equaling $10 or more. It is easy to put on, doesn’t cake up and doesn’t feel heavy on. I got it in Dark.

    I tried the Garnier BB cream & purchased a tube since I like the benefits of it. Since it doesn’t have the shade I need for my skintone, I mix it with my foundation that also has SPF. Also, my foundation gives me more coverage. I’ll be curious to see how the Maybelline brand works. BTW, Walmart.com’s free-sample page also has a free sample of Airborne, with 4 samples included. 🙂
