I was just reading the Toys R Us coupon policy and it states that you can NOT use internet printed coupons. Also, you can only use one like coupon per transaction… management has the right to limit transactions, usually two will fly.

I might be wrong PLEASE let me know if i am! Thanks Collin for all your hard work! Your site rocks!

I did this deal 2 days ago and used more than one like coupon and also used an internet coupon. They all went through fine. I even asked if theg took internet coupons before doing my transaction and they said yes. It may vary by store. On another note, all of the candy originally priced 4.99 was on sale for 1.99.

Thanks for replying! Knowing that you used IPs gives me the courage to try it lol. I have two little ones and a trip out to the store is a big deal and I didn’t want to waste my time if they weren’t going to take my coupons or allow only 1 per transaction. I have some great IPs and don’t want them to go to waste. Thanks again!

I’ve used internet printed coupons all the time at toys r us and never had a problem.

Can we price match? Target? Walmart? I’m new at this whole couponing?

    • Rae

Most stores won’t price match if the ad only states % off and not actual prices. For example If it had said all bagged halloween 9-12oz candy $1.99 then you could ad match that.

My TRU is very hit or miss about printable coupons. Last year I was refused the use of an internet printed coupon on a Disney movie even after I should them that their own sales circular was showing you the same coupon and had the web address listed to go to print the coupon. The registers even had hand made signs saying not to accept any printed coupons! After that I stopped trying. I have Kroger stores near me and bought all my candy when they had their one day sale with bags of candy for $1.78 before coupons.

I have never had an issue at TRU with internet Qs. Also, if you have a Winn Dixie near by the bags of candy are BOGO. (About $1.25 per bag)

Bags of 25 Geoffrey suckers or candy bracelets are $1.24.

Candy is definitely overpriced there to begin with ($4.99 bags are $2.25-$3 most other locations) BUT combined with coupons makes some great deals. Also all of the other larger bags come up 50% off (big skittles asst regular 9.99 now 4.99 etc). They accepted both my internet and regular coupons. Now I am all set for the trick or treaters!

Thanks! Combined with the great deal on laundry detergent this made the drive out to TRU worth it! All set on candy and detergent for awhile. Thanks again Collin for all you do!
