Just be sure to check the expiration dates, especially on meats, etc.

  2. Stacy

I hear you on expiration dates. I bought a few spaghetti sauces without checking the date. Found out they expired that week. We were in charge of dinner at a friends so perfect timing to get rid of a large amount in a small time.

If you buy 2 of the princess cookies you can submit for a $5.00 mail in rebate with the Cinderella movie…right?

  4. Patti

Thanks for posting this Collin! I was planning on stopping by there tomorrow & this makes it a definite stop.

Our Grocery Outlet closed about a month ago. I’m bummed. 🙁

I shop Grocery Outlet once a month and find some really great buys. Not only do they have good deals on packaged food but their produce is low priced too. Once I was able to get 9 pounds of apples for $3.

Let us know about the k-cups. I went to look them up online and read a review saying they’re nasty!

    • Jennifer

I have tried those kcups from grocery outlet and they are really bad. It tastes like instant coffee. When you take the kcup out after its been used it is empty like the hot chocolate ones- no grounds left inside. The packaging doesn’t say much on the outside.

My Grocery Outlet does not allow coupons. At least that is what I was told 🙁

    • Marilyn

The coupons Colin linked were issued by grocery outlet — those are the only ones they take

That k cup deal IS instant coffee. I fell for it at grocery outlet this week and it is disgusting!

We have a similar store around here in PA. As far as “expiration dates” go, a lot of time they are “best by” dates, meaning only the quality and not the safety of the product may be diminished. I am cautious about expiration dates on meats, etc. but you can freeze them by their expiration date and be ok. There is a link on FDA website that explains the safety, meaning of the dates. In fact we just got a pack of Oreos (a rare thing around here) and someone mentioned the date on them; are you kidding me!? Do you know what kind of crap they’re made of? They’ve got enough preservatives and junk in them…I doubt the “date” is what will harm you.
