crossfirext17 says:
Toy Story was eligible for in-store pickup, but obviously still listed at $9.99
Hoping/maybe I can get it PMed?
tanya says:
the ad says, that toy story is in store only
crossfirext17 says:
Yes I know that… but different stores will give you the price in-store when you pick it up, but I haven’t tried that at Toys R Us.
J says:
Walmart charges you less if its cheaper in store. My mother site to stores presents for my daughter and many times I pick up they say the purchasers card is being refunded the difference since its cheaper in store. So good luck with toys r us.
DANIELLE says:
will this be online if so what time?
Christina C says:
I was wondering the samething. I know that they had crazy deals last year on board games and they were online too. So maybe.
DANIELLE says:
so what time you think it will be on line hmmm im going to stay up for the next 30mins and see if it comes up!
InstoreDeals says:
The hasbro sale items are limited ..http://www.toysrus.com/search/index.jsp?sr=1&f=Taxonomy%2FTRUS%2F2254197&kw=1104game&origkw=1104game&kwCatId=&view=all&ab=Tru_homepage_aspot:2:Biggest-Game-Sale-of-the-Year
Gracie F says:
It looks like you can get some of the deals online…….. Candy Land, Monopoly for Kids,
Chutes and Ladders all ($5) online
InstoreDeals says:
not much..some can be picked up instore too
Bella says:
Does this start Sunday morning? I’d love to get a few of these games for toys for tots!
glylibra says:
will Target price match this? thanks in advance…
Alicia says:
I have had problems with Target price matching. They say that those prices are what Target considers Doorbusters (even though they are available all week, but while supplies last) and they do not honor them! I ended up going to 3 Target stores last year for the Operation game. The last one let me do it, but the first 2 stores told me no.
Danielle says:
They did price match for me last year with no problems.
Kate says:
They price matched for me today, no problem. I didn’t even have the paper ad, but customer service said they started matching to online ads just this week. I had it on my phone but she looked it up on a tablet they had. All she did was get approval and I was on my way.
sarah says:
Can u price match it at Walmart?
Jennifer Hillidge Wiggins says:
wondering if walmart will price match, and where do we print for coupon???
Guest says:
This is what I am wondering as well.
Tat says:
I am sure going to try! Just hoping they are not sold out before I get there.
Tiffany says:
They usually only carry like 10 and people push and shove for them I remember the operation game last year was a nightmare!!!
Harold says:
Yes! as lony as you have the other stores sale ad withe the price on it. Strange! I was told by a Wal-Mart employee that Wal-Mart would not match another Wal-Mart Stores price.
Amber R. says:
Yes this is true, according to Walmart’s price match policy you can price match another stores sales ad as long as the price is stated on it. You also are not required to have the ad with you. And oddly enough they won’t price match another Walmart stores price.
Mandy says:
They won’t match another Walmart’s price because Walmarts are differently priced according to their location. My location (California central valley) happens to be one the highest priced areas in the nation so none of the deals that are listed for WM on H2S ever work for me
melissa says:
Going to pricematch at Walmart
http://www.couponsaremycash.com
Shirley says:
I am also wondering if they will price match, even if it is only the limit 2 it is still a great deal. Especially when you donate them!
jolynn says:
I would price match at Walmart.
Wendy says:
I’m glad there is a limit, but I wonder if I will be able to score. I remember last year they had a similar deal on another Toy Story game and they were cleared out.
Rachel says:
Where is the official ad for this? I can’t find it on Toysrus.com. Is there a link somewhere I am not seeing?
Stacy says:
Thanks for the heads up Collin! I got out at 6 this morning and got the only one they had at my Walmart store and price matched with no problem!
Lisa M says:
Stacy, did you have an ad to price match with??
Amber R. says:
At Walmart you are not required to have the competitors ad to price match.
Stacy says:
I did not have to show an ad, by policy as Amber said, you aren’t required to, but sometimes the stores make an issue of it, especially since it is such a reduction so might be good to take with you if you have it. I grabbed a paper that I was going to buy anyway and had the ad ready just in case. Walmart is supposed to have the ads somewhere in an area where the cashier can look at them if they need to.
Jenn says:
I just price matched at my Walmart and got the last one! Thanks! No problems at all!
Jenn says:
I did price match with the ad.
Michelle M says:
Can you price match with a print-out of the Toys R Us ad?
Anne says:
Anyone got a kiddo turning 3? We did a Toy Story 3 themed birthday party for our grandson (everyone dressed as their favorite character, ie favorite toy), found this Memory game @ a garage sale. We WERE going to use the game pieces for the cupcake toppers, but the grandson loved playing the game instead (Imagine that)
semiextremecouponer says:
Great idea!
Mckenzi says:
Such a cute idea I got my two this morning never would have thought to use them for my baby birthday party so clever!!!!!
Lory says:
Yes I have a grandson that is 3 & want to go get him these games as well, can’t find any ad?
laurra says:
These are great games for 3 year olds, while my daughter was in the burn unit she had to stay for many days and she loved to play this game with a little boy whom was also there she will love to see this under the tree it will bring back great memories for her and help her heal emotionally!
So, I price matched them for $1.00 at wal-mart but got disney princesses and cars and then they had old out dated $3.00 store coupons on them and they gave me the coupon off also. Free game, happy memories and free money toward my groceries! yeah!
Anne says:
Good job!
Amber R. says:
The Cootie Game is on sale at Wal-Mart for 4.88
Heather says:
I have a $5/$25 for Toys R Us that I’m hoping they will use with the Jenga deal…wonder if I’ll still get the $10 for spending $35??
semiextremecouponer says:
That would be a good deal! Let us know!
Heather says:
Worked like a charm…still prompted for the gift card deal
Elizabeth says:
The toys r us in Warner Robins/Centerville Ga had at least 100 this morning (it actually looked like 200+)
Brelyn says:
Just got back from my Toys R Us and was able to get 2! They had a big bin full of them right by the front door. Awesome Christmas presents for my daughter and nephew!! Thanks so much for the heads up on this deal!!
tracy says:
Mine had a big bin too! I was pretty impressed. I expected to see like 2 on the shelves.
kelsey says:
I went to walmart and they had shelves filled of the memory games!! They did not care about the limit so I picked up 4 and donated 2 at the toys for tots bin ! There was also nobody trying to get them so I am planning to go back on saturday and pick up what the have left!
Nikki says:
Hi does it have to be the toy story version? Thanks!
Destinee says:
Yes.. it does!
kelsey says:
my store allowed me to do whatever version! I got cars, princess and elmo versions!
Lindsay S says:
I was able to get whatever version I wanted at walmart, got the cars version. Tried doing it at Target when I was there and they let me, but said usually they won’t price match when there is a limit stated in the ad, but they let me do the sesame street and the strawberry shortcake games.
kelsey says:
I will try to pick up some at target to! My walmart did cot have the strawberry shortcake games and my daughter just loves her! Great christmas gifts!
Destinee says:
Wow that’s awesome!! Did they need the ad? They didnt question that the ad was toy story only?
kelsey says:
ya they looked at the ad and was okay with doing the other versions! Cool huh!
Ali says:
Thanks for highlighting. I was at the store when it opened. They only had 12 of the $1 memory games on hand. I got 2, but there were some unhappy customers at the Norwalk, CT store. The worst part is the employees were not even aware of the sale or were exactly the games were located.
Ruby says:
Woo Hoo!!! Just got back from Toys R Us. Got 2 of the Memory Games!!!
Ruth Wolfe says:
plenty of TS3 Memory games here in Newark DE
semiextremecouponer says:
Bummer we can’t pricematch all deals because the gift card we get back at Toys R Us.
Destinee says:
Im wondering if the BRU locations will have these too? I tried pulling up inventory on the website but it’s showing out of stock for all stores.
Whitney says:
A lot of the $5 games are at Walmart for $4.88
Kristie says:
Thanks, Collin! I got two this morning at Murfreesboro, TN Toys R Us. They were right by the front door. The pile was still to my knees, but the cashier said they were over my head when the store opened an hour before.
Jamie says:
I price matched at Walmart last year with the ad. They gave it to me, but didn’t like it too much.
Kendra says:
Is there a way to price match at Wal-Mart without the toys r us ad? I have no way of getting one. thanks,
Heather says:
Technically walmarts policy says you don’t need the ad but ymmv depending on your store’s attitude
Sara says:
Milwaukee, WI store had at least 100. They weren’t even going fast. Picked up some for our National Guard holiday party raffle!
Jaime R. says:
Sunset Hills, Mo store still had plenty left also!
appu says:
thanx a million collin
got a couple, my hubby and myself , planing to donate (christmas toys for tots)
Anna says:
I went to TRU and got 4 Jengas, 2 Memory games, and Monopolpy championship game. I spent over an hour trying to check out. I had a $5 coupon for the Monopoly championship game making it free. I used the Jenga coupons but the TRU computers would not take them. The cashiers were nice but I wasted so much time I told them to cancel the Jenga games. I got the 3 other games for $2.
I MIGHT go back. Anyone else have problems with the Jenga coupons?
Janice says:
Yep… but after about 15 minutes they pushed them through for me.
guest2 says:
I bought Taboo. It is the most fun game ever. I hope the cards are new versions though.
anita says:
If you buy $35 worth of Hasbro games you will get a $10 gift card. Also when you spend $20 on Hasbro games, you will get a Scrabble tote bag (as per the Christmas Toy book) I bought 2 Monopoly games, 2 Candy Land, 2 Cranium, 1 Chutes and Ladders and 2 Toy Story Memory Games – $37 before taxes plus a s $10 gift card back and a Scabble tote – can’t complain!!!
Diana says:
Price matched at WM in Kingstowne (Alexandria) VA and they didn’t have the Toy Story version but had Cars and Princesses and let me do it on those. and they didn’t limit me (I even showed them the ad). I just bought 3 but there were about 15 more games on their shelf. TRU in Kingstowne was out before 1pm (not surprisingly, I just didn’t make it out until then and it’s right next door to WM)!
Jill says:
Excellent, thanks for the heads-up! (Although, I may not get out at all today… but here’s hoping the WM in Burke has them, too!)
an says:
hi, can you please tell me where the original paper ad came out? did it come in the mail or newspaper? my local wm will not accept any price match unless you have a hard copy. thx!
guest2 says:
Mine was in this morning’s newspaper.
laurra says:
go online and print a copy online
an says:
thx for the idea, but i have done that in the past and online print outs are not accepted either
i was told by the manager in the past that i was “a fraud” for trying! yeah my walmart isn’t very nice. too bad my local toysrus and targets are so far away. i would spend more in gas than the games are worth! LOL
Cindy says:
Sold out at Toysrus but was able to find 2 at Target. Yay!
PAT says:
if u are military u can price match these and use some of the game coupons in their PX christmas catalog to get some super great deals!!!
Eve says:
A bunch of the toddler games are still available online for 5 each, but it doesn’t look like you can get the 10 dollar gift card online. Is this true?
Carie says:
I truly dislike Toys R Us (and that is putting it mildly). Every year I try to give them another chance because of all of the deals but they continually have bad customer svc and do not have products or cancel orders. Even my husband is fed up with them. We were at the store first thing this morning and were told they did not have any Memory games in stock and none were even in the area. That is just ridiculous. How can you have a sale if u don’t even have the item in stock?!!
Cannielle says:
I HATE Toys R Us!
Sara says:
In Ohio our Toys had plenty at 10 am they open at 9 am. I was able to get 6 of the memory games. These will be nice to donate to church. We have a bus that goes into the inter city and all kids will be given a gift. They had two large bins full. Thanks Collin
1ferfun says:
We went our local Toys R Us and all the $1 Memory games were sold out and so were most of the $5 games! An employee checked the stores in other areas and found a store that had a large stock. We went and got all the games we wanted, 2 $1 memory games, spongebob cranium, star wars jenga. then i picked up a minnie mouse toy that price matched for $10 w/ big lots ad, saved $24.99! Then picked up some littlest pet shops, they are buy 2 get 1 free. Saved $101 today at Toys R Us!
Dani Pokorney says:
Thank you so much for these toy posts Collin! It truly makes for a nicer Christmas in our home.

Be sure to look at the SKU# on the Monopoly games. The store I went to, the Monopoly games that are listed for the rebate were the $10.00 ones at TRU (not the $5.00 ones). Could’ve just been my store though.
Tracy says:
I got 2 today and price match at Walmart they had plenty I’m in indiana
phelan says:

There was hardly anyone there to get the games, (im in Riverside,CA).
Sarah says:
Just ordered my games online and got free shipping on most with my shop runner. All the games in my area were sold out so Im glad to get the great price and free shipping. There is an online deal for a free tote and dart game but the items are not eligable for shop runner and was charging $5.15 for shipping so I deleted the free items FYI
Kristy B. says:
