Awesome Deal for rich people 😀

    • Christina

I was thinking the same thing! 🙂

      • Sarah

Hahahaha. Glad I’m not the only one. Was interested in the trash can to use for dirty diapers but then saw the price. 😛

    • Megan

      LOL

    • Lana

Exactly what I thought too! My plain old Rubbermaid WalMart special will hold my garbage just fine!

  2. mkw

Simple human did a line of trash cans for Walmart. I love mine and the price was like $20ish or less (for smaller size used in bathroom).

Got a small one to keep our Cocker Spaniel out. He’s a rescue that loves to rummage through trash! Recently, he figured out how to step on the lever to open the can. We came home to garbage strewn all over the floor! This info may not be helpful unless you have a garbage picking dog, but it’s funny!

Irene, I had to laugh out loud at this! My hubbs and I saw this trash can the other day and thought, “Is it the answer to our prayers!?” We also have a cocker spaniel rescue. I guess now we know the answer.. he’d probably just learn how to lift the lid!

I had the same problem with my dogs. I bought a pull out trash can that fits in a kitchen cabinet for around $50 at Lowes or Home Depot. Works good and keeps the dogs out.

I love when Collin posts these deals and allows us to help each other by encouraging us to post our own referral links. Thank you Collin. I’d be so grateful to anyone who uses my referral link as I will be using another members link.

They may be pricey but I bought my SimpleHuman butterfly open trash can 13 years ago and it still looks brand new. It’s worth the money!

    • Rebeca

Thanks for sharing Kristi. We bought a stainless steel trash can for the kitchen 2 years ago and the pedal system just broke. I know it was cheap, but at what price? Now I dont want to simply take it to the dump and cant bring myself to buy a new one, so I am stuck with it 🙁

      • bhw

Rebeca, I bought a stainless steel trashcan that also broke. Instead of tossing it, how about using it in a non-descript place in your home, like the basement. It will still serve its purpose, although you’ll have to manually lift the lid.

        • Cher

Oh, me too. Why do these pedals go phsssst so quickly. Nice until they blitz. I do not like to lift manually when I have hands full or even other wise. Going into garage for trash or to hold soil,

If anyone would be kind enough to help me out and use my referral link, i’d appreciate it! Would love to get some of the bamboo utensils/kitchen gear for my younger brother who is graduating and going off to college this year (he’s interested in culinary). I have custody of both my 16&17 yr old brothers, any little bit helps!! Thanks!!

My simple human trash can was well worth the money (I cringed when I bought it, and haven’t regretted it at all!)–what you can’t see is that inside the stainless outside is a removable plastic shell–so when you pull out the “too full” bag, you aren’t lifting the entire can! Also, the lid doesn’t slam down (like the cheap ones I’ve had), it goes down slowly. With the removable insides, it’s much easier to clean!
