This Hip2Save.com Deal was hand-posted on Sunday, November 11th, 2012 at 10:39 am.
Just a reminder that you can still score this awesome deal on Walmart.com (and it’s even sweeter due to a current rebate available – I explain this below). Just head on over here to snag any two Olay, Old Spice or Gillette Holiday Gift Sets on sale for $20 (regularly $25!) + $1.94 shipping to your home or FREE shipping on $45+ orders! Even better, for a limited time, whenever you purchase 2 Gift Sets, you’ll receive a bonus $5.00 Walmart eGift Card (valid online or in-store)!
Plus, the Olay Gift Sets come with a bonus one-year subscription to Allure magazine or one of several other publications. Or the Gillette & Old Spice Gift Sets include a bonus 4-week subscription to Sports Illustrated magazine. These Gift Sets would make for practical and thoughtful gifts for teachers, friends, family, and more!
And this gets even sweeter because there is a current P&G rebate valid on select products here. Just spend $50 on select Venus, Secret, Olay, Pantene, Herbal Essences, Aussie, Head & Shoulders, Clairol, CoverGirl, Crest 3D White Whitestrips Products, Puffs, Ivory and/or Safeguard products and get back a $15 rebate (valid through 12/31). So check out the deal you can score by combining this rebate with the Walmart sale:

Buy 6 Olay Holiday Gift Sets (has to be Olay to qualify for rebate) 2/$20
Total = $60 + score FREE shipping since your order is over $45
Get back 3 bonus $5.00 Walmart eGift Cards (valid online or in-store) – for buying 6 gift sets
And submit for the $15 rebate for spending over $50 on Olay products
After you take into account the $15 worth of Walmart eGift Cards and $15 rebate…
It’s like you are paying $30 for 6 Olay Holiday Gift Sets, makes each gift set just $5! Plus, you will have scored 3 bonus one-year subscription to Allure magazine or one of several other publication!

Blair says:
The P&G rebate link in this post does’t work
Collin (Mrs. Hip) says:
Sorry about that… just updated the link.
Heather says:
+ go through shopathome for 5% back or ebates for 4% back!!
Collin (Mrs. Hip) says:
Just updated with the cash back links.
Lori says:
Can you also get a rebate by opting out of the magazine subscriptions on these? I know most past deals similar to this one have been that way…
Collin (Mrs. Hip) says:
Nope… I don’t think they are offering up rebate offers on the magazine subscriptions anymore.
Grace says:
I found these in the store and opened one to check out the magazine form. Unfortunately, it did not state anything about opting for a cash rebate this year. Just so everyone knows before they go our and buy a bunch!!
Ashley says:
How do we get a sale’s reciept if purchased online?
Love2Save! says:
Usually you get it by email.
Alyssa says:
I just got my emailed receipt, and I think you may have to make an additional purchase to make the rebate work. In the emailed receipt, they categorize the “e-card” as a separate category from the sets. That means you speant $45 on the sets and $15 on the “e-card.”
Anyone else have this problem, or a solution?
Tara says:
I didn’t see anything after checkout about the giftcard…where can I find this?
Alyssa says:
I got the message before check out. It was “added” to the cart right after I selected my two gifts. You have to make sure to go through the “double” gift set purchase (2 for $20, rather than the individual ones, $10 each). If you follow the link above it will lead you to the correct product.
Gina says:
I’m having the same problem – on the receipt it says the sets are $15 not $20 because the gift card is listed separately.
Did you solve this problem?
Alyssa says:
No
…I figured I would wait until I receive it. Usually there is a receipt in the shipment also. If it is still line-itemed, I figured I would go and spend $5 on something else. Worth getting the $15 back for the MIR!
Amanda says:
Do you guys think these would be good for teacher gifts?
Jessica says:
I think so, that’s what I’m buying them for! I did the same thing last year for the teachers at Christmas!
kathy says:
how do you find this deal on shome at home?
Kim says:
I entered walmart.com in the search bar, clicked on 5% and then once you get to walmart.com enter Olay Holiday sets.
Susan says:
I only see 1.5% on toys Where is 5% on Shop at Home at Walmart??
Kim says:
Where does it say that you get the $5 Walmart ecards? I’m not seeing them in my cart?
Kim says:
NVM, duh, I figured it out…lol
yvette says:
where does it say about the gift cards?
Judi says:
Thanks, I just took care of 6 gifts for just $5.00 each. Christmas is going to be great. Thanks again Collin!
Bri says:
Just to sweeten the deal I think it’s actually 6 subscriptions
Kristin says:
I just wanna say Thanks Collin I love ur site!!! But just wanted to give a heads up to those that may not need these right now, last year after Christmas I was able to get all the gift sets online with free shipping for $5 ea without rebates or GC’s. so I bought for this year last year. Ill do the same this year.
Sherri says:
Can I buy 5 Olay and 1 Old spice and still get the rebate on the Olay? I am getting for dance teachers, but have 1 man to buy for. Would that work on the gift cards and the rebate?
Wendy says:
I think that’s what I’m going to do. It seems like it should work. It’s still $50 of Olay (5 sets).
Sherri says:
I did end up doing the 5 olay and 1 old spice. Got all the dance teachers out of the way. Now, hoping the rebate will work this way. I thought so do Wendy, because it is still $50 of Olay. Let’s hope we are correct on this one.
cristal says:
What did your receipt look like Sherri? Mine shows that I only paid 35.00 for 5 olay sets, 10.00 for 1 old spice and 15.00 for egift cards.
Lisa roberts says:
Ok I don’t see how to get the $5 card???
Lisa says:
Ok I found the link.
Cheryl says:
Where did you find it? I can’t find anything about the e-cards
I Love Shoes says:
I tried to place an order through walmart earlier last week. I received an apology email and was told if I placed an order I would receive a $10 egift card. I will call customer service to see if that is legit. If so, this will be a sweet deal.
Wendy says:
I can’t decide if I want to do this deal or not! Ugh…
Laurie says:
Did you? I can’t decide either
Wendy says:
Not yet. Still can’t decide! LOL!
Tammie says:
How long did it take for you to get your emailed receipt?
Amanda says:
I assume it would be ok, but thought I would check: does anyone know if I would still get the Walmart gift cards if I pay for this purchase with a Walmart gift card?
Nina says:
anyone know if I can use a maunfacturer’s coupon on these gift sets in a store?
A.Marie says:
I did this deal last year with the bonus magazine gift subscription…..only, the magazine never came. nice. NOT! ;( So, just be careful going into this deal if you are really going to be counting on the magazine subscription either for yourself or as a gift. I was very, very disappointed. I know it’s just a magazine, but it was supposed to be a gift for my sister……..
Rita says:
I tried to do this at Walmart but no gift card.,, did anyone do at a store if so do you get a gift card or would it show after you paid as an electronic gift card on receipt?
Princess Grissett says:
I only received one gift card. Has anyone else had this problem?
cristal says:
I decided to get 5 olay gift sets and 1 old spice and it shows that I only paid 35.00 for the 5 olay gift sets and 10.00 for the old spice and 3 5.00 egift cards. So now my question is, if I send in the rebate will they not give me the 15.00 rebate? This sucks!
amy says:
Cristal, I am wondering the same thing. I received mine in the mail today and the receipt in the box shows the same thing. $5 short of the rebate.
cherie says:
wonder the same thing
Sara says:
I received mine in the mail today, and the receipt shows $35 also. The email “confirmation” I received shows $60. I wonder if I can use the confirmation as an actual receipt. I will have to check my credit car to figure out what I was actually charged.
Sara says:
oops…guess I can’t use the email as the receipt. As others stated, it lists the ecard separately so I do not have a total of $60 in Olay products…only $45.
Lily says:
Did anyone get empty e-mails with no e-giftcards from walmart? I don’t know what to do.
Bethany Bergman says:
I just got a letter today saying I did not meet the requirements to get the rebate. This stinks. I bought six sets. Oh well
Heather Kelly says:
Anyone else having a problem with the rebate? I bought some herbal essences shampoo too in order to have my receipt show $50 in P&G purchases since $15 went to the egift cards. They sent me a letter saying I did not send them my receipt so maybe they will not honor the packing list style receipt (which showed prices) that came with the products which is what I originally sent? They told me to resubmit so I will try again sending them the emailed receipt. Cross your fingers for me.
cristal says:
I had to go into walmarts website and print off a detailed receipt that had the prices, walmart name, products bought, the date I bought them and that seemed to work.
Erin says:
I received a rejection letter from P&G saying I did not meet the minimum. My total was $50.61. I’m going to try to call them and see what happens. I already complained to P&G by email but they said that the rebate center handles that.
