no. heavier than say revereware, heavy enough to hold up for years but nowhere near so heavy as cast iron.

We have had the Sears hard annonized (not sure that is the correct word) aluminum cookware at a vacation house that we own in partnership for about 4 years. It has held up VERY well and everything there takes a beating because we have renters who do not take very good care of our things. I have been so impressed by it’s performance that I bought a set of that for a gift for our daughter for this Christmas.

It’s selling for $200 at Bed/Bath/Beyond. If they have it in stock, you could prob use a 20% off coupon, which would take $40(?) off = $160 + tax. I’m thinking this might be a good deal. I just hate buying things from Amazon unless I’m 110% sure I won’t be returning it. This would be a gift to my daughter & fiance. If they don’t like it, I’m SOL!

Pots and pans almost never say dishwasher safe. The dishwasher just destroys them.

Why do you need a dishwasher to wash them when hard anodized are SOOOOOOO easy to clean. Even dried on eggs come right off.

I recently purchased a hard anodized set by Emeril and its dishwasher safe and I love it!!!! Now, what to do with my overpriced Anolon Advanced set I no longer want because it isn’t dishwasher safe.

I just wait until after the holidays then decide. Most stores have no place to store the extra items so they discount them for quick sales. I usually save 60%-75%. Sometimes more.

I just ordered a set and found that I had $25 in a gift card left to use (I guess they somehow keep track??!!??). I think it was leftover from the $75 that I earned from trying out a product that Collin posted about. So I ended up getting the set for about $65!!!

I own a set of this brand. Not this style but I have to say thy are the BEST pots and pans I have ever owned. Just an FYI DO NOT use cooking spray in them. It will void your warranty and ruin your pans.
