Kohl’s is also notorious for raising prices in order to put things on “sale.” We had been watching towels for months this year and one week they were bogo 50% off. We went to the store to check them out, but they didn’t have enough so we didn’t buy them. A couple months later, they were bogo free. We raced right over . . . only to discover that they raised the original price to accommodate the sale. My husband got pictures of new stickers on top of the lower prices on the sewn-in tags.

Children’s place definately raised the prices on a lot of their items. i bought graphic tees for my baby boy for $1.99 a while back (with a 15% discount code) and now those same shirts are priced at on “sale ” for $5.67. Not a really great sale today in my opinion.
