Amazon Lightning Deals: *HOT* Deal on Brave 3-Disc Collector’s Edition at 12:20 PST?!

As I mentioned earlier this morning, you can definitely score some amazing buys with Amazon.com’s Lightning Deals. These Lightning Deals can be found here and go live at different times throughout the day allowing you to save BIG on popular toys, electronics, games and more. If you see something that you like, be sure you snatch it up right away as there are only a limited number of Lightning Deals available and they tend to expire quickly (sometimes in less than a minute!).
One upcoming deal to note is the Brave 3-Disc Collector’s Edition which goes live as a Lightning Deal in less than 30 minutes at 12:20PM PST (that’s 3:20PM EST). This will likely be a very popular item so if you’re interested, I would log into your Amazon account a little early so you snag it as soon as it goes live.

I know the bottom of the rebate form says that the store receipts must emanate from same state as the consumer address so I am not sure how that works with Amazon.

I’ve never done it but you have to be close to your computer and keep the amazon tab open because I hear that it gives you a pop-up in the top right corner and you have a short time span to put it in your cart and purchase or it goes to the next in line.

I have been on the waitlist many times and almost always get it even when it says the chances are poor. Like Susan said as long as you sit near your computer and keep the tab open it will give you two and a half minutes to add to your cart once your turn comes up and then you have 15 minutes to check out. I was able to get on the waitlist for the movie and I got it!

How long after 12:20pm PST were you offered the movie? I never saw a pop up and I was 500+ and it said chances were GOOD. I waited an hour and it never showed>>>>

I can’t believe I actually got this awesome deal without having to stand in line at Walmart. My kids have been begging me to get this movie. And it has such a great positive message for girls, that even I want them to see it. Thanks Hip2Save:D
And to answer Chrissy’s question. Yes, I’ve been offered lighting deals that become available after they have already sold out. They show as claimed if someone added them to their cart and they stay claimed for around 15 minutes, but if the person doesn’t complete the purchase and check out, the items are offered to people in the order they signed up to the wait-list.
My advice would be to stay at your computer for at least the next 15 minutes and hope you get one. Good luck.

i’ve been checking the lightening deals all week and have gotten a couple of really good ones… i got the leap frog tag reading system for $15 (with the $5 credit)!! you do have to be really quick, there is no need to refresh your browser just watch the countdown closely and be quick to hit “add to cart” AS SOON AS IT POPS UP. good luck and happy thanksgiving!!!!

My tip is to go to the page of the item and refresh over and over and once the time changes, the price will change and you can cart it fast. Stay off the lightening page!

I was able to get Madden 2013 for $25 including free shipping and no tax. Its usually a $60 game.
My tip is to login ahead of time, navigate to where Lightening deals are listed and be quick to get what you want. Maybe even try having a second window open.
If you miss the sale check Best Buy, Target, Walmart, etc. Sometimes you can get similar sales as they’re competing for our money. Good luck.

According to the Amazon Lightning Deals calendar, it will be on Lightning Deal again on Monday at 12:20 pm for the same price. If you don’t want to wait, you can get the DVD only version for $11.99 online at Toys R Us. Not sure how long that will last, but it was still available when I was on their site about 10 minutes ago. Hope that helps!

The item I tried getting was gone after a few seconds. The time frame for the deal was between 5:10pm and 9:10pm PST. It’s now over 2 hours later and Amazon still show’s that I’m on the waitlist. Is this right? Do I still have a shot at getting the item, or am I wasting my time with my browser open?
