Not everything is available. Just some of it.

  • Karen S says:

Some of the sale prices were showing up at 730pm but had to wait for everything I wanted to come up on sale. When finally the Animal Planet buckets were showing up as b1g1 free I checked out. As soon as I clicked submit order the tool bench said out of stock and it charged me $15 plus in shipping!! Really frustrating after waiting so long. Then had to check email, track order and cancel it. So after all that, I got nothing!

  • Cara says:

Woohoo! Also, for those who missed out on the Loopz deal earlier — it’s $5 on Toys R Us’ site

  • Amanda says:

It won’t give me the option to use Shoprunner? Is anyone else running into this?

    • Karen S says:

Yep, I had all my stuff in the cart for days and it was Shop Runner eligible…as soon as the sale prices showed up it was not Shop Runner any longer…..I’m just gonna skip ToysUs altogether next year!!

      • Laurie M. says:

Gah! That’s so not fair. I don’t want to pay $15.39 in shipping for $20.00 worth of games. :( Should be able to use Shoprunner for any order.

        • Sue says:

I agree. Tried to order an $8 toy for my mom so she won’t have to run up there before my dad goes to work & wouldn’t give me free shipping. Sucks!

    • Vee says:

Yep. I just decided not to order the stuff. I ay make a trip to the store to get the items. Luckily the items I am looking at are not black Friday items.

  • Shelly says:

    Got what I needed! Thanks!

  • Elizabeth says:

The toy my DS wants for Xmas is listed as not available to ship or pickup but Toys R Us is selling more than 10 of them on Ebay (where I cant use a coupon or my giftcards) Looks like my little man is out of luck on this one.

  • the scot broad says:

tru sucks 99.99% of the time. i’m going to use my $20 for $10 groupon deals (i got 2) in store for a couple of Lego sets.

  • Julie says:

Brave blu ray $14.99! Used my TRU card and supposed to have free shipping. It charged shipping anyway, but I just called and they removed it.

  • Ashlie Smith says:

If you have a ToysRUs or BabiesRUs mastercard, everything ships for free. No minimum. Not fun having 2 different credit card bills going for Christmas, but I’m not paying $15.00 to ship $20.00 worth of items. (and the items I got are 3x expensive anywhere else.)
UPromise doing 10% right now too. Worth it for me.

    • louise says:

Ashlie my understanding with the toysrus/babysrus card it only works on certain item. I even tried to check out using my card and it didnt give me free shipping

      • Ashlie Smith says:

Yep, they always exclude stuff. Here’s the fine print:

*Offer valid online only. Offer subject to change at any time. Standard shipping only to lower 48 states and street addressed. Excludes video game consoles/handhelds and hardware, gift cards, Buyer Protection Plan, and selected oversize items.

I love the ‘subject to change at any time’. Hopefully it’ll help a couple people out though!

  • RONDA says:

Thanks so much for this post. I decided last minute not to go out for Black Friday. It is great to get some of the things i wanted at home. Great :)
    Happy Savings :)

  • Kim says:

I can’t stand Toys R Us. I was stupid enough to venture over there the other night to price match a toy I found on their website and they looked at me blankly and told me they weren’t price matching bc of Black Friday. I said it’s Tuesday, this toy is $10 cheaper on your own website and your website says you are price matching your own website as long as it is not Black Friday prices (which it was not a black friday ad or price). They said no way and that I was out of luck, and they were told not to price match anything. I am SOOO done with them. I was done with them last year but still somehow stupid enough to believe their own new price matching policy posted in giant letters on their website. Someone remind me of this next year!! I even refused to buy their groupon. D.O.N.E. :)

    • Cannielle says:

I am with you, they wouldn’t give me extra half day to use my 25% trade in coupon last year.( I came in the last trade-in day in the late afternoon). Their prices are skyrocking high compare to other stores. I didn’t even bother to buy the Groupon offer.

  • Destinee says:

I got everything that I wanted…plus the free shipping with my card :)

  • Cara says:

It was free shipping if you spent over $49 also.
I am on bed rest and was able to get the 2 items I wanted online — my husband was pretty happy when I told him and said “You mean I don’t have to go to the store tonight? Thank God!”:)

  • Crystal says:

The one item I want is not showing any stock online. Boo! I was really excited when I saw this post hoping that I wouldn’t have to go out tonight.

  • Lili says:

Items “shipping only”, no shoprunner makes $26 purchase end up $42 with shipping + tax! Just waisted my time! :(

  • Kate says:

I was able to order a power rangers dress up trunk for one of my boys for $19.99 (down from $39.99) tonight and also the Thomas the Train Rumbling Gold Mine for one of my other boys for $19.99 (also down from $39.99!) And because I also picked up a stuffed owl for my other son (that wasn’t on sale) I got free shipping too. :)

  • CJ says:

I wanted to the tag reader for $19.99 but went ahead & paid $23 for it on Amazon so I could add the playdoh pack (which I also needed) for $4.97 & get free super saver shipping.

  • Anna says:

I love that train table! The perfect gift for my son. He will be thrilled! Also added a little something for my baby to make it to the $49 dollars for free shipping. They even let me ship my different items to different addresses at no extra charge. Awesome!

  • Lauren says:

Is there a code you need to get 20% off of $100 or more? It’s not coming off at checkout and everything purchased meets the fineprint criteria.

  • ap1406 says:

I am confused how to go through Ebates .I have Ebates account already …

    • jchahutton says:

With ebates or the other rebate sites like Shop at Home or Mr. Rebates, instead of going to the website of the store you want to shop at, you go to ebates.com. Then, you sign in, and search for that store. It will have a % back amount that differs with every store. You then click on the link to go to the store, and then shop as you would if you went directly thru the store’s website. After your purchase, ebates will put the rebate amount, based on your purchase amount and the particular % amount, into your account. They send a check to you when you hit the threshold for each particular rebate site. Shop at Home is $20, I can’t remember ebates, but I know it is very small, like $5. I hope I made sense! It is a REALLY easy way to make your money stretch!

  • Ashlie Smith says:

I don’t know where to put this because I’m new to this site, but I wanted to share it (so maybe someone who’s familiar can stick it where it needs to go?)

Stride Rite is offering a 50% sale today and tomorrow on boots and Robeez, and 30% off all other shoes (excluding clearance). Promo Code Blackfriday.

(sorry I don’t know where to properly suggest this deal!)

  • Bobbi says:

The MOBIGO does this come with games/programs or do you have to buy the like a ds? And is this a good buy? (New to this system)

  • Chrissie says:

Train table is gone, so bummed. It’s the one thing I really wanted to get my son this year and that price was unbeatable! Oh, TRU, you always know how to put a wrench in my plans!

  • dorean says:

I had the train table in my cart and because of their stupid checkout problem with the “verified by visa” thingy, I had to choose to pay in store and there was some bug or something that didn’t allow me that option I had to open a fresh window to do the checkout all over again it delayed the whole process and then the table was GONE!!!! I’ve waited all year to get one for my son wat a shame

    • molly says:

Don’t feel bad, this table is soooo small. Get out your tape measure and measure 30 inches, that’s not a very big playing area. I had it in my cart all night, finally deleted it because I realized its just too small for all my sons thomas tracks. I’ll hold out for a little but bigger one that will entertain him better.

  • Lori says:

I can’t believe it! I just read their return policy and they will only issue in store credit for a return of an online purchase. I can’t believe they won’t let you return any online purchase for real money. BEWARE!!!

  • Lauren says:

I am so frustrated. Tried to cancel an order I made through their website and it is still processing. I did it within an hour like told and nothing, called customer service and they tried to cancel, still processing. I am regretting using their site!

  • m says:

add to cart is not an option on their online item i wanted…how dumb
