Not for anything else, but I’d like to suggest for the words gently used to be bolded. My friend A gave our friend B a gift from this store for B’s baby shower. Friend A got embarrassed because it was only when our friendB told me that she was given used clothing as a gift that A realized that she had given used clothing. SHe though she only snagged a great deal. Nothing wrong with used clothing as I buy my clothes from Goodwill, but it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. Apparently, friendB got offended that she was given used clothing for the baby shower.

  6. shelaghc

Do they only sell children’s clothes?

    • MommySpendsLess

Yes, it’s just children’s clothing, size 12 months through um, pre-teen? (I know they don’t accept Juniors clothing).

      • Ashley57

They have smaller sizes than 12 months, just not very much. It goes down to infant.

    • Krysta

      *Great deal!

  7. Mer

Some of the clothes are new with tags!!

  8. Carol

Tried using one of the referral links above, but it looks like you can’t combine the $10 credit with the $15. Unless I am doing something wrong?

  9. Emily

I’ve ordered from them 3 times and sold to them once and have been pleased every time. The clothing I have received has been in great, like-new condition – very similar to Once Upon a Child – but from the comfort of my home. Their prices are sometimes a bit high (I can easily buy new graphic T’s from Target or Children’s place cheaper than ThredUp) but their prices on denim are great. The box they send it in is cute, the clothing comes neatly folded and wrapped in tissue paper with a silver sticker that usually has a handwritten note (“Enjoy!” I think).

Selling was super easy and while there were several things that they rejected, most of the things I was positive they’d accept, they did. You could probably make more money on eBay and maybe even Craigslist but for the convenience I’ll give up a few dollars.

  13. cheap cheap goes the mommy

I’ve ordered two times.. VERY SATISFIED. My last order said Thank you. You saved $503.08 (68%)..(I think this was off of if we choose to buy brandnew) We chose to do mostly secondhand clothes for Christmas for the kids..because they are soo rough on them. It kills me when I’ve paid 10.00-15.00 for shirt..only to get mustard on it the next day! If you already have acct. be sure to check your acct code section. I had a promocode left for 40% off and saved 95.00 just from that code. My codes expired 12/31/12

    • Liliya

Hi, are you willing to share your 40% code? My email address is lizhush@gmail.com. Although I imagine the $15 credit would not apply..:/

  14. Jennifer

I’ve got a toddler and another one due in January. It’s a shame they don’t do baby clothes, would love some things for the new one. But I’ve gotten my 1 year old a few things.

Check the pictures closely (it will let you zoom in a bit). Quality seems to differ by clothing. Some items looks a bit worn, some look brand new. Some still have the tags.

The $10 referral credit can be used towards shipping (or at least it did the first time I ordered)— so you should be able to get $18 worth shipped to you free. If anyone would be so kind as to use my link, I’d really appreciate it!

    Thanks!

  21. Liza

thank u i was able to get 4 outfits for $7.91 great for the baby shower i’m going too in a month

  22. jodi

not to be a debbie downer, but I purchased from them and was disappointed. The shirt I bought was decent, but it smelled really weird. Of course you wash them first but I was still a little uneasy about it being it was pretty pricey for used.

    • christine

I ordered a pair of shorts & a top for my 3 year old a couple months ago and the shorts were awful! I think they just sold them because they were gap, regardless of the condition. They were COVERED in stains. The worst part was the yellowing in the crotch area- like a few too many ‘accidents’ happened in them. They were too gross to even donate- I threw them into the trash. Fortunately I had a credit that I used towards most of my order & was only out a little over $1. I would not have been happy if I had paid more than that!

      • Jennifer

Email them with a picture. They will refund your account with a credit.

  23. Jessica S.

I ordered through them in the spring of 2011 for the first time. It was when you got a box of clothes straight from an individual. Now that they have changed how they do things, I wonder if I would be considered a new customer…

  24. Liz

Would love if you use my referral link:
    https://www.thredup.com/469560
I just had a baby girl (after 2 boys) and would love to get her something pink, instead of all her brother’s truck clothes 🙂 Thanks!

    • Jen

I used your code. Your truck comment made me laugh 🙂

  25. sher

Excited about this – can’t even keep up today. Got 4 Land’s End dresses, 1 Speechless dress, and a Talbot’s skirt. $40.00 will get you FREE shipping. So my total after my $10.00 credit and the CYBER15 was $33.00. Awesome deal!!

  27. Heather

I would be so grateful if someone would use my referral link. I’m a stay at home mom of 4 little ones and my hubby is in school and working and this would help us out a lot. 🙂 Thank you in advance to anyone who uses it! https://www.thredup.com/493662

  28. steph

    https://www.thredup.com/506350
    Happy Cyber Monday everyone! 🙂

  30. Cara

Has anyone had any problems with ordering? I keep getting an error message saying there’s a problem with the order and to try again, but my credit card has been charged twice?

  31. laura

I had a really really bad experience with them the last time you posted a deal. It was a complete nightmare. First, they “froze” my account saying I already had an account and couldn’t have 2. (I didn’t, but whatever.) They also charged my credit card (conveniently) before they froze my account. They refused to ship me the items I had been charged for. They refused to refund my money. They refused to respond the emails or answer the phone. I finally got my money back by going through credit card. It was completely ridiculous.

  32. Pam

Not impressed with the website. Nothing is really all that appealing and the prices are high. I can buy some of the same things in a store brand new for less money.

  33. Erin

I just got two items new with tags for just the 6.95 shipping charge! Yay!
