OfficeMax.com: *HOT* FREE Crayola & Rose Art Products (Up to $19.99 Value!) with Purchase Expired

The links in the post below may be affiliate links. Read the full disclosure.

Wow! Check out how you can score a smokin’ deal on Crayola products AND Rose Art products over on OfficeMax.com

* First, go here to add any one Crayola product to your cart, which will qualify you for a completely FREE Crayola Color Explosion Extreme Set ($7.99 value!) – through 12/1. This freebie will automatically be added to your cart with qualifying purchase. I would also opt to choose the least expensive Crayola item (either the $0.87 chalk or $0.89 crayons).

* Also, through 12/1, you can score a FREE Rose Art Color Blanks Bundle ($19.99 value!) with ANY Rose Art purchase, which means you can add this 24-pack of Rose Art crayons to your cart for $1.29 and qualify for the freebie (automatically added to your cart).

* Plus, spend $20 or more and you’ll also score FREE shipping! I tested by adding two 12-packs of Bounty Paper Towels to my cart on sale for $8.99 each. So I spent $20.16 (+ tax) shipped for a total of 24 rolls of Bounty paper towels , Rose Art Color Blanks Bundle ($19.99 value!), 24- ct Rose Art Crayons, Crayola Color Explosion Extreme Set ($7.99 value!), and 12- ct Crayola crayons… seems *HOT* to me! :D

I actually had MaxPerks Rewards that I applied to my order, so everything was FREE! Yay!

If you cook up another *HOT* scenario to get up to the $20 amount, please share in the comments! :D

(Thanks, Paty!)

Both of the freebies are sold out.

  • Sarah says:

Darn, I wasn’t fast enough! Freebies are all gone now.

  • Shari says:

I had both in my cart, and while I shopped around, both free offers sold out…bummer! Oh well, maybe next time!

  • rachel says:

What a pain….sold out of both while I was checking out.

  • Amy says:

I tried to get one, and it says sold out. My son would have loved both and we needed chalk but what I’ve learned the last few days, is if people have to take it all, they obviously need it more than I do. This was a great lesson that my son picked up on last night when all the adults were knocking kids over at a tree lighting event to fill their bags up with free candy. I told him that’s why you take one for yourself and move on, but not to be upset. It just meant that we could make our own candy and cookies together and it would be more fun and taste better! Merry Christmas everyone!

    • Heather says:

I ordered multiples – not to be greedy, but for my children, family and Toys for tots. If you will email me with your shipping address, I will happily send your son a set for Christmas. No charge. Just Pay it Forward if you get the chance to this holiday season. :) NGTR410@yahoo.com

      • Kristin says:

That’s very awesome of you heather. :) I love the pay if forward!!

      • Amy says:

Heather, I appreciate your generosity, and will pay it forward, but we honestly aren’t in dire need for it, so please give to someone with more of a need. I didn’t mean my post to be rude. Those that are giving away to charity, I applaud you and have no issues what so ever. And those that bought multiples for multple kids/family members, I understand as well. I honestly didn’t mean to offend/upset anyone, just stating that sometimes people forget the true spirit and I love using opportunities when some may or may not be acting correctly to show my kids why we say/do the things we do. Sometimes people hear/see the word free, and can’t look past that. : )

    • jenny says:

just because they are sold out does not mean people are being greedy. It might be that they are only offering so many or that everyone else was just a little quicker than you were. the beauty of Hip 2 save and all of ollin’s hard work is that another deal just a great will come along and there will be another oppertunity for you to get in on that one.

  • Natalie says:

I guess I was too slow – it said they were sold out – and I only had one of each. Bummer!

  • Katie says:

Wow, I took too long making my cart bc every time you deleted an item you basically had to start over. Now they are out of all the frreebies. Frustrating.

  • Kelly says:

It’s too bad that some of the people in this post had to take advantage and get 10 of each free item. Now they are gone.

  • Lee says:

  • Ann says:

I added to my cart and I thought that I purchased, but I forgot to press “submit”, what was I thinking. Oh well:(

  • CJ says:

Okay, people, I got 2 free, but I will say about the people who ordered a lot — they were all talking about donating them to Toys for Tots and things. I don’t think we can say “Hey, I wanted one for me! You’re being greedy!” without it having a bit of irony attached.
It reminds me of when I was a kid and made myself oatmeal, using the last packet (my brother had already made his), and he said “You pig! I wanted that!”. Ever since it has been a family joke for “How dare YOU take the thing I wanted!”
I get that it’s disappointing when you miss out on a deal, but let’s be a little more generous towards the people who are donating, instead of wishing that we could have gotten something for free.

    • Lizzy says:

      Amen!

    • Ashley57 says:

      Good point.

      • Brent says:

I do my share of donating and a big cheer to those that said they were going to donate to various organizations. There were also a few posts where someone mentioned they got over 20 freebies and were going to resell on Craigslist.

        • Cara says:

Yeah, I saw one of those — and that might be greedy, but we also don’t know their story. Maybe that’s the only way they have to get money to buy gifts for their kids from Christmas. And maybe it’s greed. But most of the comments are directed towards everyone who bought more than one, and almost all of those people said they were donating.

    • amy says:

okay. let me come to your local drugstore next week and clear all the sale items and then say “i’m donating it though”. There needs to be a limit as to be fair to others of us who wanted it for our families. People can donate 2 or 3…there is no need to purchase 15

  • Sara says:

    sold out

  • Mindy says:

They are out :( I called Customer Service and they said that they probably would not restock poo!

  • Lucille says:

Thanks Collin I love you site

  • Crystal J says:

    SOLD OUT on both.

  • Says the Freebies are both sold out and were deleted from my cart. Bummer …was hoping for a few great gifts for the nephews …

  • Lovedddd seeing so many people donating the freebies. How special! :) Go ladies!!

  • Melissa says:

I ordered solely for the purpose of donating. My daughter is too old for these items but there are many children who this may be their only gift. Props to everyone who ordered to donate. I watch for sales just to be able to give to those in need. I do not see it as being greedy. Giving is the greatest blessing there is.

    • Cara says:

Good for you! And I absolutely agree — I got 2 of the color blanks…I am on bed rest at 30 weeks pregnant (have been since week 26) and I have a 4 year old daughter. Crafts are something we can do together in bed:) So one of the color blanks is for us. The other is going to a little girl we are sponsoring for Christmas this year. Was it greedy to get two? I guess a lot of the commenters would say so, even though many of them wanted to get one for each of their kids as well. I don’t think it’s greedy to pay money to get something, so you can donate it.

      • Amy says:

I posted above and it may have come across negative…but I did not mean it to be. I just meant that sometimes people tend to get a bit crazy this time of year and I like to point that out to my kids and how lucky we are that we don’t have to get that way (or at least try not to get that way!).
My stand on this deal (and in no way shape or form does that mean this is right, just my opinion) is if you needed what you bought, whether it’s for yourself, your family, gifts for others, or even donating to the less fortunate than no, it’s not greedy. If you bought as many as you could just because they are free and you don’t know what you would do with them, or you are going to resell an item you did not originally pay for, then that is greed.
I understand these deals are all by luck if or when we receive them and am very grateful to Collin for posting them to give us all a chance at the luck.

        • Cara says:

I definitely agree with that! I know it IS easy to get greedy when deals like this come along…if people are donating, I don’t see it as greed. If they are just snatching them up just because, then yeah, that’s not so delightful;)

  • Daria says:

In my cart, the free items are listed as “sold out”….

  • C says:

I was lucky enough to see this right when it posted, and I ordered one of each. It honestly did not even occur to me to try to get more, I assumed it was limit one- now I wish I had ordered a few more for gifts! I don’t understand people commenting about how they got so many to donate. Just donate quietly and don’t talk about it.

    • Sheila says:

Thank you! I so agree with your last sentence.

    • Heather says:

I don’t see why it’s bothering everyone. They (me as well) have the right to get excited and share about what we were able to score at a great deal in order to donate. All is well though. You also have the right to voice your opinion, too. I hope you and yours have a great holiday season!

  • Tricia says:

    SOLD OUT :(

  • Tiffany says:

Where is this advertised? My store says they will honor the online deal.

  • Kim says:

Oh man, freebies are sold out.

  • Sad says:

Donating isn’t really helpful for items like this that are a limited quantity. I’m trying to do Christmas on a budget so that I won’t NEED your charity. You’re so generous that you’re turning me into a beggar. NOT appreciated :(

    • Sam says:

      My thoughts EXACTLY.

    • Andrea says:

Wait, so you’re upset that someone is giving to charity because that means you will become charity? So we should just donate directly to you then?

I got 5 of each. I wanted crayons for stocking stuffers, I will be donating the rest to our local battered womens’ shelter who go there with their children to avoid domestic violence. Is that a good enough charity?

Seriously people, they are being donated. You can’t be mad that someone else got there first. You don’t throw a fit when someone beats you to a Facebook freebie.

      • amy says:

As i posted above to someone else. Let me come clear the shelf at your local drug or grocery store and then say “but i’m donating it”. anyone would be mad. thats why people talk about “shelf clearers”. I understand getting some to donate but there has to be a limi where you say “maybe i got too”. People jump for free and will do and get however many they can and then say “i’m donating it” to justify it. I’ll start using that everytime I clear a shelf from now on. No one will know if I am really going to donate it but everyone will think I am being so nice.

  • Tiffany says:

I spokt to Office Max customer service 800 number and there is a limit of 2 free items per household. If you ordered more you will recieve what you paid for and 2 free items. That will free up more for people who didn’t get any. Don’t be suprised if your pacakge comes and you don’t get 10-20 free items.

    • Sam says:

That’s awesome!!! Put that in yall’s juice box and suck it!

    • Jan says:

I figured that this might happen. That’s why I used Collin’s scenario. Office Max mismanaged this promotion. I envision a lot of unhappy customers if orders are modified without the customer’s knowledge.

      • Tiffany says:

I’m sure it will not hurt the company as a whole. People complaining about not getting something for free…the company isn’t making money on that anyhow. They might “loose” a few customers but I doubt that will happen.

        • Jan says:

Customer service is very important. A lot of people are turned off by Toys R Us because of bad experiences. It’s not so much about people complaining about not getting a freebie as it’s about misleading/lack of accurate information on the part of the company when ordering online. If it was up front that only two free items per household were allowed, none of these arguments would have happened today. All I can say is….they had better not MODIFY any orders without first alerting the customers and allowing them the option to cancel or proceed.

          • Travis says:

I’m sure Office Max didn’t consider scores of customers buying stupid amounts of .89 cent crayons to get boat loads of free stuff either. I wish blog sites would disable comments under postings like this!!!

            • Jan says:

Critical error on the part of Office Max. Many organizations buy massive amounts of crayons, etc. Their online ordering system should have limited the free stuff automatically without customers getting confused. And don’t turn off the blog comments! Reading comments is an important way to exchange info and I know it’s helped me learn (from others) over the past 18 months of couponing. Thanks!

            • Barbara says:

I agree about the comments, I don’t like reading all the posts where people leave their “link” and I don’t like posts like this where all the negativity could have been avoided had some people used common sense and not posted about ordering 15+ of something that half everyone who visits this blog would have liked to have. Donations are wonderful….however, couponing and deals like this are being ruined for the majority of families due to a some shoppers need to hoard and clear shelves and if you think it’s ok to post about your “haul” then be prepared for all the comments you receive…good or bad.

  • Tiffany says:

Just my opinion, I feel like people say they are “donating” stuff too loosely. I bet probably half of the people on this post who say they are donating aren’t.

    • Heather says:

That’s sad if they are claiming to donate it and not doing it. If that’s the case, why buy it? To hoard? That’s greedy. I, however, did buy for my children, family and to donate to the Toys for Tots which I oversee at my workplace.

  • Karin says:

I stumbled across this when I sent to the Office Max website before it was posted here. I added what I wanted to order and it added the free stuff. I don’t remember reading anything about maximum free items (althgh I didn’t get a million things free things I did make my selections based on what I needed to finish stockings and it automatically added a total of 11 things). I will not be happy if they select what I am getting free. Imdefinitely have a preference!

  • Elise says:

Just got my shipping info and I’m only getting the crayons/chalk I ordered – all the free items are now on backorder, even though they weren’t sold out when I placed the order (not expecting to get them at this point either.)

    • Shimu says:

If someone needs to donate something, they can buy from different store, stock up and later donate rather than buying all products. there are many of us whose rewards are going to be expired, up reward – extra bucks- register reward are needed to be rolled. Some of us have babies, some of us are student, some of us are employee, and some of us got stores very far. If one person got everything, no matter what the cause is or are, it means putting other shoppers at haphazard situation. think about others too. the way one wish to donate, other person also wish to donate or give something to their relatives who are in need. In USA, there are many stores, many freebies, take the advantage and shop wisely. If 20 person can get 20 products equally rather than one person got 20 items at a time, will bring more happy discussion in here.

      • Lindsey says:

I agree with Shimu. Although I admire all those that are donating, it is also a good idea to take a step back and think about others who would like to provide for their family or donate in their area. When I was ordering, I thought for a second that maybe I should get more and make little gift baskets for my daughter’s daycare or put a few in my Angel Tree bags…but then I thought about other people and how I didn’t want to take away from them and ended up just ordering like Collin suggested. It is also good to remember that “abusing” promotions like this could force companies to stop doing them all together. I, for one, am so thankful to Collin and her team for finding so many deals, especially around this time of year. It is a blessing to my family and the families I can afford to help with these great deals!

    • Jan says:

I just checked my account and my paid items and two free items have been shipped. Maybe they should have limited this promotion to Max Perks members only? Hoarding deals is probably one big reason why so many stores are switching to loyalty cards which offer, tracks and limits quantities.

  • michelle says:

I agree with you shimu, very nicely stated :) I missed out on this one but I know there is always another deal to look forward too…I also enjoyed sams comment “put that in your juice box and suck it” LMAO!!

  • Stephanie says:

I just got my order. The color explosion is on back order and will arrive separately. That’s going to cost Office Max a fortune in extra shipping fees. Way to say thank you to a retailer and manufacturer for offering a promo, cost them money. Job security for delivery drivers is a plus. I bet they’ll learn their lesson and do it in store with limits next time.

  • Kathleen says:

Just thought people would like to know, according to my account everything has shipped with the amounts I requested. I did only do 2 of the Crayola and 3 of the RoseArt. So looks like it works…who knew?

  • Candace says:

The ONLY part of my order that has shipped are the free items! How funny.

  • Jaime says:

I bought a gift card to get to the $20 mark on this order, but the gift card portion has been cancelled and a refund is processing? However, the other items have shipped! I have no idea why that would happen but it means I got the deals for very little OOP. Anyone else?

    • Betty J says:

Same thing happened to me. I added a gift card to my cart to get the free shipping. I already received my two crayola items in the mail, but then received an e-mail that my gift card was canceled.

  • rn30032 says:

I ordered a 16pack of kcups, 3 single rolls of paper towels. crayola 8ct and 16 ct crayon and rose cart 24 ct crayon. everything came as ordered including 2 FREE color explosions and the FREEBIE for the rose art product. Funny thing is 1 box came yesterday via Fedex, 2 today at different times via Fedex. I’m in Atlanta. Thanks colling for posting such a great deal and glad I was able to get in on it

  • karin says:

Thought I’d give a quick update: Received most of my backordered items yesterday including the Color Blanks and Crayola. Still waiting on a few things that were not part of a promotion but it appears they are honoring this deal.
