lissa says:

lissaslife1 says:
love the way these look…and love to cook…..but how do you use them?
vicki says:
i don’t have this one specifically, but have a martha stewart one from macys……i LOVE it! i use mine for roasting……chuck roasts, chicken leg quarters, etc. it’s perfect for going from stovetop to oven to table.
Jesse says:
Basically some people use a dutch oven in lieu of a crockpot- it is like the stove top version of a crock pot. I bought this over a month or so ago from Walmart for my sister.
Kim says:
I bought one of these last time they were a great price, and I love it. It is heavy as sin, but doesn’t stick at all.
Lissa – it is just a big pan, you can use it for anything, but you can also bake in it. Great for roasts, you can brown your meat, then bake it in the same pan!
Katrina says:
Does anyone know where it’s made? China?
Erin says:
Specs say “USA or imported” (thanks for clearing that up, Walmart!) but it has a lifetime warranty. Makes me wonder if it is made in the US. . . .
Renee says:
amazon reviews say made in China.
Christina says:
Got these last year from walmart…awesome pots!!
mel says:
My hubby bought me the Sandra Lee Dutch oven, I believe it was $35 at Kmart last wk. I am disappointed its “made in China” though. Is this one American made, cause I’d return and rebuy.. or another brand that’s made here!!!
aTiger says:
It seems Kohls deal on BF is better than this.
Ann Dee says:
Tell us more, please…
Steph says:
Kohls had a black friday deal on the food network 5.5 quart dutch oven with a $20 mail in rebate. Its over now. The price was only good during black friday like the deals on the crockpot, blender, etc.
Erin says:
If you have a Big Lots nearby, you might want to check there if you are in the market for a Dutch oven. I saw some that appeared to be good quality for $20–one of the few bargains I saw there! Sorry, but I didn’t pay attention to where they were made.
Melony says:
Thinking about getting one due to a recipe (Butter Bean Ragout) I found in an issue of Better Homes and Gardens (that I got free from H2S!).
pia says:
Sorry for going off the topic.. does anyone know which cookware is best.. Rachel Ray, Circulon or Calphalon? Thanks..
Ashley57 says:
From my experience, I would say Rachel Ray is not the best of those. In my opinion, it is Calphalon, but someone else on here might know better.
Liz says:
Calphalon anyday…in case of stainless steel tri-ply go for the Tramontina tri-ply..only available on walmart.com.Hard anodized Calphalon is the best.Best to avoid non-stick …Rachel Ray cookware is not worth the price.
pia says:
thanks, ladies. i feel like returning my 3pc skillet Rachel Ray pans and waiting for a Calphalon deal..
Christa says:
I personally love Analon!!
Sunny says:
I was so excited but then I looked on Tramontina’s website, they are made in China.

Tammy says:
Sunny, thanks for the research. I won’t buy it now! Wouldn’t it be great if a savings blogger created a new blog for USA products only??
Renee says:
It would be great, but a super short blog, I’m afraid! I shop Goodwill or our local thrift store on a regular basis for good (usually older) American made products. I’ve found all kinds of steals that way! Once a brand new Champion juicer for 20 bucks! It was only missing 1 screen…seriously-LOVE my thrift store finds!
Kim says:
Yep. I refuse to buy anything that touches our food or beverages if it’s made in China.
Jesse says:
so smart. You never know what you’ll get coming out of China.
Marti says:
Thanks collin! I have been wanting on of these for awhile
Colleen says:
I was so thrilled to find this fantastic deal! My husband has borrowed our neighbor’s Dutch oven twice in the last month! Time for his own, and at a phenomenal price, no less! Thanks, Collin!!!
