If you’re looking for a fun Christmas gift for the little girl in your life, then you may want to check out FabKids! Launched with mom and creative partner, Christina Applegate, FabKids offers up a 3 piece outfit (like a graphic tee, tulle knit skirt and footless tights) each month for $39.95 shipped.

But here’s the best part, FabKids is currently offering up new members a special promo: Buy Your First Outfit and Get Your Second Outfit for FREE! So if you join FabKids now, you’ll pay just $39.95 for TWO outfits + FREE shipping… that makes each outfit just $19.98 shipped! To snag this BOGO offer, head on over here, complete the style quiz, add 2 outfits to your cart, head to checkout, and enter the promo code HOLIDAYBOGO. That’s it!

As you can see from the picture above, my daughter, Piper, loves her Twirly Dotty outfit from FabKids (pictured above) and has worn it to school many times this year.

Every FabKid outfit comes packaged really nicely and would definitely make great Christmas gifts! Plus, the clothes seem to be of high quality (and, they are just so darn cute!).

If you’re interested in checking out FabKids further, head on over here and take a little time to browse around. Also, keep in mind that FabKids is currently available for girls in sizes 2 through 8 (girls sizes 10 and 12 are coming soon!).

IMPORTANT: Note that there is NO obligation to purchase outfits monthly from FabKids. Each month FabKids will pick out an outfit for you (or you can choose your own outfit) and they’ll notify you one week before your outfit is shipped. If you “skip this month” within 7 days of receiving your monthly outfit pick via email, you will not be charged and nothing will be shipped. You may skip as often as you like. You can also cancel your membership at anytime.

Oh my goodness, your daughter looks like a miniature you…so cute!

  • Araaidan says:

Love my daughter’s first outfit! It is very nicely made. Would love to see a discount for existing customers :). $39.95 for one outfit is still a bit steep for this coupon mom! Wishing now I would have held off to get the two outfit deal :(.

  • Dee says:

Wish they had this service for adults LOL.

    • Tiff says:

They do!!! The website is called stitch fix. I signed up for it yesterday!

      • Dee says:

        Awesome! Thanks!!!!

Hmmm… that sounded really promising at first but I don’t like that you have to pay $20 to get styled, which is non-refundable and can’t be carried over to the next month. I understand it, but I’m afraid that the 5 items wouldn’t fit, would be too pricey or would be too far outside of my “comfort zone” (since they admit they’ll purposefully send you things that aren’t a perfect match) so I’d be wasting $20. I wish there was a risk-free way to try the service just to get an idea of sizing, pricing, etc.

Me too! There are a few subscription clothing/jewelry/beauty product programs for adults but none that send a complete outfit. I don’t like shopping and I can’t coordinate anything more complicated than solid colored t-shirt and jeans for myself. I think that’s why buying kids clothing is so fun – I can experiment on my 3yo :)

  • MommySpendsLess says:

I ordered from FabKids when they were having their free outfit promotion. We just got it a couple days ago. The clothes are cute and they do seem to be of higher quality than Target/Children’s Place/etc. We haven’t worn/washed them yet, this was just based on the weight and feel of the fabric. My daughter was super excited to see the pink box arrive and knew instantly it was for her :)

They did make a substitution though, without notifying me. It was minor, just zebra printed socks instead of pink cheetah printed socks but my girlie-girl 3yo who would have liked the bright pink version probably won’t wear the black and white ones we received. I’m not too upset since it was just $8 total but for the regular price for $40/outfit, I would hope they would contact the customer and maybe offer a couple of replacement choices if they’re out of an item.

It also looks like they’ve significantly increased their referral credit. During the last promotion my mom registered and purchased an outfit for my daughter and I received a $5 credit. The website now says: “Get $20 FabKids Rewards for each friend you invite when they make their first purchase.” If somebody would be willing to sign up under me (although I completely understand if you’d rather use Collin’s link – that’s what I did last time) with my other credit I could get my daughter a pretty dress for Chirstmas for almost free, which would be super awesome:

I have some credit on my account, and would love to add a little more if anyone wants to use my referral link :) Right now I get a 20$ credit for a new customer, who will also get the B1G1 free deal!

  • felicia says:

I wish they offered this for boys:)

  • Marie says:

Would love for someone to use mine! Merry Christmas!!

  • Ebony says:

There was a living social deal for this company too $40 for $20 not sure if it’s still avail that would pair nicely

  • Elise says:

They offer free exchanges AND returns too!! I would say they are true to size too. My DD is 3 and is a 4T in Children’s Place, 3T in Gymboree, but the S (4/5) is too big. Thank you in advance!

  • Michelle says:

I have three little girls and would love if someone would please use my referral link so I can put the $20 towards and outfit for them. Thank you!! :)

  • lil says:

    very cute kid

  • Cara says:

Oh wow, they have increased the credit! I had 15 friends sign up, but I only got $5 in credit because the deal was just $5 for the first 5. Boo!
Here’s my referral link if anyone wants to spread the love around:)

  • Elaine M says:

Here is my link. I could really use the referral credit! We are on one income and anything helps! Thanks.

  • Brenda says:

I just received my order yesterday. Got the try us for free deal. Only paid $7.95! I was gonna order it for my oldest daughter but I thought it would be a great gift for her best friend instead. I have to say I’m really impressed at the quality of the clothes. Can’t wait to see how it looks

  • anne says:

my daughter got her outfit last week and the denim leggings are not good quaility, she wore them for 2 hours and they looked like they had been snagged on something all over. but she had not touched them on anything. very disappointed even if i only paid 7.95

    • Ali says:

I agree. My daughter wore the pink skinny jean/leggings only twice and there were holes in both knees. And she is not a super rough kid, so I am glad I only paid $19.95 for the outfit. Would not think of paying $39.95 in the future.

  • Tilla Ham says:

I am such a bargain shopper that 40 dollars for 2 outfits just doesn’t seem like that great of a deal to me. With kohls clearance, cash and discounts I do much better. I’ve even done better at gymboree and they are super spendy.

    • Cara says:

Yeah, I would never pay that for two outfits either. When I signed up, it was just $7.95 shipping and no other fee — I got a dress, leggings and hair clip for $7.95. That I will do:)

    • MommySpendsLess says:

For the most part I agree. My buy-price for my daughter’s clothes are usually $4-5/piece. I also think my values are a bit skewed from purchasing toddler sizes. As my daughter has entered the big girl section (size 4), I’m finding it harder to meet those price points, even on the Target clearance racks.

FabKids says it’s a 3 piece outfit, but most of the time the third item is something really simple like a hairbow. It’s pretty easy to find cheap graphic tees, skirts and leggings so no matter how cute the outfit is, I pass on those. But, in my opinion, some of the FabKids outfits are worth more than others. Sometimes they offer jeans or a denim jacket as one of the pieces, or a dress with both a vest and leggings.

Last time I got a long sleeve tee, skinny jeans and a pair of socks. The tee was printed on both sides, and had subtle embellishments and ruffles that made it a bit more special than a standard Children’s Place t-shirt. The jeans were regular thick denim, with pockets and zippers – not leggings. It was a good deal for the $8 I paid and would probably have been worth about $15-$18 to me since it’s harder to find a good deal on denim pieces and long sleeved shirts often cost a bit more than short sleeved ones.

      • Ana says:

how did you get it for $8. was it a wihle ago? So these deals or even better run thought the year? It’s my first time hearing about them. thanks.

  • Wendy says:

I did the free outfit recently and just received it. Very happy with it! But now how do I cancel?

  • jennifer says:

Would someone please consider using my referral? My husband’s hours just got cutback by 20% at work so we’re really struggling right now, and being able to buy my daughter a new outfit instead of just second hand like usual would mean SO much to me. Thanks and happy holidays!

  • Katie says:

@wendy: If you go to your fabkids account page, there s a phone number to call/contact to cancel. Thats what I did and it worked perfectly!:-)

I have never written a negative review of any company, but I will here. I have had a very bad experience with Fabkids. I purchased a Groupon that was 2 outfits for $40. When the outfits arrived, I was missing a denim jacket even though it was listed on the packing list. I contacted the company, and I was told that that item was out of stock. Then they offered to send a replacement item. Later, they told me that that item was out of stock as well. Then I asked that they send me a whole outfit to replace the jacket, and they said that they would. It took two weeks to get the replacement outfit, and when it arrived only one of the three pieces was included even though the packing list lists 3 pieces. I am waiting to hear back to see what they are going to do. Also, one of the pairs of pants that my daughter received pilled up a lot the very first time that she wore them.
