My son wants one of these, but the sparks make us nervous, because his little brother tends to follow behind him. Can anyone comment as to the safety of that?

The sparks are harmless. They do not fly more than a few inches. As long as he is not riding through flammable liquids or vapors
they will be fine. I think it is just a magnesium strip that drags the ground as they ride. Same as their scooters. Also, it wears down over time so when it is gone you don’t have to buy the replacements…

we have never had issues with the sparks. and my son rides it all over…. The kids in the neighborhood are usually following right behind him and wanting to ride it. Its a BIG HIT here!

My son has NEVER flipped over. He always wears a helmet. The wheels are very fluid, they spin very smoothly and easily (hoping I’m making sense LOL). Hope this helps.
