Did You Receive a Surprise in the Mail?!
So if you have been following Hip2Save since August, you may have gotten or will be getting a nice mailbox surprise this week! Yep, there I am above looking very HIP, showing off the freebies that I received from the FREE Sun Care Kit offer I posted back on August 28th. It never ceases to amaze me how many freebies show up on my doorstep that I’ve long forgotten about it.

My UPS says I’m getting something today that weighs about a pound—-I wonder if it’s the same thing? lol…..guess I”ll save it till next summer! 🙂
I had it sent to my Dad as a surprise. He said the hat will be awesome for when he goes fishing.
I didnt get that one today but I did get the Twinings tea sample packs.
I received a baking caboodle from ID. I had problems with the giveaway, as did many. They offered to send us coupons, mine never were mailed out. I contacted them again and they sent me a caboodle. I think that is pretty awesome!
I got it too!! sadly the lotion leaked alllll over the hat, so I can’t wear it. I might try and wash it and see if it works!

Did you get a email from UPS saying you have a package but were not sure what it was. I received an email yesterday that I have a 3 lb package being shipped by UPS and will have tomorrow but doesnt say from where or who. So Im not sure if I won a prize from the awesome deals / contests you post.
I didn’t get the sun care stuff, but I got 2 of the Bic Hybrid 4 razors today with extra cartridges. NICE!!!!

No way! I JUST emailed Collin about this to ask her if she has heard if anyone has received this. How funny! I’ll be at my waiting at my doorstep then! Lol. I actually live like 10 minutes from the address we sent the form to. Fingers crossed it will be coming soon!!
Yup! I got mine yesterday along with the BIC razor I signed up for a while back, a tea sample, and a Scotch Brite disinfecting wipe. And today I got some Ovaltine samples, coffee sample, and another (like my fifth one) Tampax Radiance sample. Weehoooo!!!
i received this recently, too! i thought since it had been so long that it wasn’t coming, so i no longer expected it. it was a pleasant surprise!

I didn’t get this but yesterday I got The Amazing Spiderman game for PS3 from some Carl’s Jr game I played over the summer. I had no idea I had even won anything until it showed up in the mail yesterday. Perfect to put under the tree for my son for Christmas!

I got a $5.00 off Millstone coupon on bag of coffee or box of K-Cups, which was very nice. But also got a damaged box of sample K-Cups (with post office apology) – my fav blueberry flavor tore open and coffee all over the place. 🙁 Also got a $14.00 off Tena underwear coupon …LOL. I had the craziest mail day today- there was ONE thing in my mailbox! Just a Lighting magazine. I just found it nuts because I have a ton of Christmas present on their way and usually my mailbox is stuffed to begin with. I was surprised that the mailman didn’t need to come to my door and when I went out to get the mail that one thing looked so lonely, lol! Nice break for the mailman, maybe now he thinks I’m normal :p
OMG I totally know what you mean! I have one of those small mailboxes that the door comes down forwards and the little rungs at the bottom to put more mail in there (I hope that makes sense). Anyways, it’s always overflowing and I always think that my mailman thinks I’m nuts haha!!
Haha! Yes, I’m always a little ashamed when he comes to my door. I’m sure he thinks I’m a shopaholic or something. Oh well!
haha! I feel the same way! I recently moved and got a new mailman and I am sure they wonder what the heck I am ordering all the time! My new UPS driver pry thinks I am crazy too!
My UPS man is a grumpy old man so if I bother him I don’t mind… hehehe… is that bad?? 🙂
At this point, it’s embarassing when UPS and Fedex stop in front of my door. I know my neighbors think I’m a shopaholic. No way to really them that I get a lot of free stuff that the companies pay money to ship! I started my Christmas shopping really early this year though so I’ve had a steady stream of delivery trucks for the past couple of months. Glad I’m not the only one!
Oh, yes, I had to pick up (another) package from my apartment office, and the guy at the front desk already had it ready! He said he saw me coming and recognized me because I get so many packages. I felt like saying, “Most of them are free! I don’t have an online shopping addiction!”
My mailbox was jammed with freebies today! I got the Scotch Brite wipe, the P & G sampler (with samples of floss, toothpaste, Pampers sensitive wipes, wild berry Prilosec), Aveeno nourishing shampoo and conditioner, Folgers vanilla biscotti coffee sample and Nivea for Men body wash. Yay! Mailman must have loved me today.

The booklet that came with the sunscreen is an eye-opener for folks still on the fence about tanning salons & getting fried @ the beach. I get so mad when I see a teen girl walk into a local tanning salon-I wish to heck they’d shut those places down. Skin cancer is no laughing matter.
I whole-heartedly agree. I live in Florida and see people “baking” in the sun all day long. People look like really old leather when they get older – it’s disgusting! We even have tanning salons here. For what reason I just don’t know. Crazy!!

Thanks for the reminder. I did sign up but never rec’d anything-Is this the sun safe bag? Never came. Maybe soon. I have a few plastic boxes for samples but the good size stuff is the best.

I live out of state, and don’t get to go home often, but I saw once how important the mailman is to them every day, and wanted to help make it worth their while to look!

I got $20 Target giftcard from the Halloween FB game! Didn’t even realize I had won!Also some Betty Crocker boxed potatoes and six lacrosse balls I got for less than $1 each. my boys can lose lax balls like crazy so whenever I get an egift card or coupon code from a lax website we buy more !

I got this last week, the hubby was like, what on earth is it, and I had no clue. Then when I opened it, my 23 month old son ran around looking like a madman with the hat on him!

I got my free make up case from Playtex a few weeks ago. I signed up for that around Memorial Day I think. I haven’t gotten much lately though.
